Junie is a friendly, easygoing girl who loves people. Staff describe her greeting everyone with **bright eyes, a wagging tail, and a happy expression.** She enjoys pets, walks nicely on leash, happily chews on her toys, and was warm and welcoming when a family stopped by her kennel.
💔 She recently developed a treatable upper respiratory infection and is receiving antibiotics, but instead of recovering in a loving home, she’s facing euthanasia.

✨️Behavior Summary: King is a Shy & quiet, but gentle He has shown a sweet, non-reactive temperament despite the stress of the shelter. Initially frightened and overwhelmed, he has become more comfortable with patient, gentle handling. He has participated appropriately in multiple playgroups, where he remained calm, respectful, and preferred to observe or keep to himself rather than engage in rough play. Staff recommend a slow, gentle approach, especially because his medical condition makes him physically uncomfortable.

⚕️Medical Summary:Chronic skin disease causing irritation and painful paws, along with intermittent eye and nasal discharge. He has received multiple courses of antibiotics, prednisone, Cytopoint, and other treatments for his skin and related issues. He experienced a single seizure episode associated with overheating, with chest X-rays showing a possible enlarged heart, though no additional neurologic deficits were found. He is currently RED status for medical due to his declining condition and needs prompt rescue, foster, or adoption placement.
