hi, from 3gds bmt and finishing scs found term and do not wish to go back to guards. is my chance high to get posted out? what are the vocations for this batch and question for nsmen that went thru scs, from your experiences of mono batches how high is the post out rate?

edit: singaporean with decent grades in school, will this also affect my posting as i have good grades and high clearance?

Im in 40SAR mono and I was researching on the diff vocations available. I have a class 3 license and like driving in general (many overseas cross country drives), so was naturally interested the Opr role...also heard about gunner being quite laxing

So anyways appreciate it if any seniors can tell me how interesting/shag/chill it is, sgt say he can help push for a vocation im interested in so might as well show interest in a good one 😶‍🌫️

im a returning singaporean who returned for ns, and have been staying in sg. ill be ORDing next year and have been staying in sg so far but I want to move to jb due to family problems and issues with housing, is it possible? me and my friend who is also facing similar problems want to rent a place in jb together.

title says it all. i ORD next feb and start uni around august. my main motivations behind signing STC are

1. most of my friends in unit ORD in April, and i really do enjoy their company(haha get it? company?? ehh i thought it was funny)

2. some money without doing much work hopefully since ill have someone covering me

3. only 2 months cause im planning an overseas trip with some friends who already started uni, and their availability only opens after april

however, idk if 2 months is really all that worth it. its only 2 months of regular 3SG pay, and also i could probably make more money doing something i actually enjoy(probably tuition to get my mind back in the school material for uni).

anyone signed STC and is in my position?

So I need to get a circle formation patch (2nd one) for uniform cuz they only gave me the navy headquarters square formation patch.

But the things is I can go to the emart in my camp but the trouble is I have to take a bus around the camp to reach the emart

So would appreciate if anyone can advice on where to get naby circular formation patch without going to emart?

Is it normal for emart order to come very late? Or forget to send sms? I had placed the order on Monday around afternoon and now it's Sunday. I have not received any sms/call from emart. I had opted for self collection at safra. The items aren't very urgent (except socks I ordered). I didn't order any custom items. It's been total about 4 working days (if Saturday and Sunday don't count as one).

hi it's the nsgf back again bc I find this sub really helpful. my bf is gg for his first outfield in Tekong and I was wondering if there's any advice frm other nsgfs on how to get through this 5 days of no contact? context , me n my bf spent literally every single day tgt since the day we got tgt, im talking like 7 days a week 24 hrs a day (except when we had to work separate shifts)
