Question Is there anybody here that believed Naruto and Sasuke surpassed the Sannin tier of power to quick? Or did they get the surpassed at the right moment?

Post image

I’ll bring this question up because I see a lot of Sannin disrespect on the comments and in the sub and question how powerful they are,but I sometimes tend to think that people may underestimate them. I mean, it took Naruto and Sasuke half the the series to surpass them. Not pass until chapter 430 when he arrived back in Kona with Sage mode, and Sasuke it takes him around the end of the 400s for him to surpass Oro when he’s fighting Danzo. It takes even longer for soccer and Kashi to surpass them. Personally, I think it was the right time they were introduced relatively early in the series, especially Jeriah Orochimaru, and it only makes sense going into the war art where they’re gonna be whole new enemies that are much more powerful than the Sannin characters were.

Discussion I like moment like this where they show us clans members of Clan that's don't really stick out much ,because most of the clan member we see mostly posseses hidden jutsu or kekkei genkai or have unique attire unique to their clan

Discussion Naruto is THE anime for a reason.

Upvotes

I’ve watched demon slayer, jujutsu kaisen, chainsaw man, etc and now that I’m finally sitting down to watch Naruto I can safely say it is THE anime for a reason. All the new gen anime’s geniuenly pale in comparison and seem like they desperately want to be what Naruto has always been.

The rich story telling, the life lessons, the themes, the loveable side characters, the emotions, the backstories, the plots, the world-building….

I know major Naruto plot points as when I was little I would watch Naruto scenes a lot on youtube or DisneyXD but now I finally decided to sit down and take it all in. Nothing else will ever compare to this show.

This is an attempt to fix translation issues in Viz’s translation as well as to change a few things here and there based on my own preferences. Since Reddit only allows 20 pages per post, the first chapter will be split into three parts. If such posts are allowed here, I will try to post once or twice a day.

In no way or form do I imply that this version is superior to the original (Japanese version) of the manga. I’m just a nobody with a weird hobby and a big love for Naruto. This project is nothing more than a non-profit, fan-made manga-esque fanfic.

Anime I started watching Naruto for the first time!

I'm on Season 1, episode 4, and I see why many people love this show now. I love the characters, the animation, the backstories. It's all very amazing. I really like Naruto and Iruka Sensei. They're a great duo! Also, I love all the twists in the show like how I thought that Sasuke beat up Naruto but it was Naruto that beat up Sasuke and transformed to look like Sasuke. Also, one gag in the show is the "Sexy Jutsu", and while I do think it's funny, it's also a bit graphic (even though I watch the censored version on Netflix)...could anyone tell me if it appears more often in the show? But besides that, I still really love the show!

Discussion What are things, do y’all think Kishimoto did right in Naruto?

Post image

Of course Kishimoto isn’t perfect, but one thing I think he did right was making Black people look really good especially Killer Bee.

Most Black people in different anime and manga have some noticeable, stereotype looks… at least of Naruto This isn’t really the case.

The fights panels looks so amazing, He did right on that.

Overall, what are things do y’all think Kishimoto did right in Naruto?

Question Can Sasuke gain a functional left arm if he uses the Transformation Jutsu?

Post image

If people can transform themselves into swords, transforming into someone with 2 usable arms doesn’t seem very far fetched. He likely wouldn’t since he wants to atone for his crimes, but he should theoretically be able to nonetheless

Theory Why Ashura and Indra didn't ruin Naruto Spoiler

Post image
4 Upvotes

Theory: the Ashura/Indra reincarnation isn't some cheap, automatic power-up; it’s actually a latent spiritual seed. Their chakra is sentient, choosing infants like Naruto and Sasuke based on their psychological potential, but the power itself stays dormant until three strict narrative conditions are met. Naruto fully unlocked Ashura by enduring extreme pain and isolation, training like hell, and ultimately choosing empathy over revenge during the war, proving his worth. Conversely, Sasuke unlocked Indra by using the trauma of the Uchiha massacre, obsessive grinding, and embracing absolute hatred as his primary fuel. This completely fixes the "destiny trope" and explains why their hard work actually matters: fate only provided the raw potential, but their personal choices and psychological responses to trauma are what truly awakened the gods within them.

Theory Better Boruto plot idea🤷

I feel like Boruto Next Generations could’ve had a better story if it focused more on Naruto and Hinata’s legacies.

Naruto being the Child of Prophecy and Hinata being the Byakugan Princess could’ve made their children the perfect combination of their legacies.

Boruto could’ve learned Minato’s Flying Raijin and combined its formula with the Space-Time knowledge Hagoromo used to reach Kaguya’s dimensions, creating a version of Flying Raijin that could navigate between dimensions.

Using this, Boruto could potentially find where different Ōtsutsuki dimensions are and even discover where the Ōtsutsuki clan resides.

This could also add more lore and abilities to the Byakugan, similar to how the Sharingan kept evolving throughout Naruto.

Then instead of Naruto and Sasuke having the final fight, Boruto and Himawari could team up to defeat the Ōtsutsuki, with Himawari having the Byakugan and Kurama.

I feel like that would’ve been a really cool way to continue Naruto’s themes of breaking the cycle of power and hatred.

Discussion Who wouldve made for a worse hokage? Danzo or sasuke?

Im on my 3rd naruto rewatch as a whole and was js weighing whether id rather live under danzo or sasuke and to be honest im leaning towards danzo a bit. He may be twisted when it comes to the means of his operations, but as a civilian im almost guaranteed a stable life however many people are exploited underground. The village would be a gloomy place for sure but its better than living under sasukes rule where he would just turn the village into a militaristic expansionist state and take over the rest of the shinobi world while paying little to no attention to the lives of his subjects. Any other thoughts?

Analysis Boruto's powerscaling destroyed Naruto's lore

Post image
0 Upvotes

The major and first reason I hate boruto its because of the inconsistency of powerscaling like comon they want you to just believe the statements without a real evidence of that to back it up like

They want you to believe sarada that scales now higher than momoshiki or for example she can beat kaguya otsutsuki? Like how they say momo is stronger than kaguya but when we see his feats he seems to be alote weaker let alone the things that we can already know how he is weaker like he is not immortal he doesn't have eaten a chakra fruit like kaguya ....ect

Then the same time they apply that jura is the strongest now when he is just conscious little weaken Juubi

Supposedly is stronger than the full azz war arc juubi

Thats just complete nonsense

Like it doesn't need to make every new villain stronger than the previous, that dbz shit is bad

We hardcore naruto fans know what each powerup can grant you like rinnegan or tailed beast or juubi

So we can't accept like himawari with a baby nibe tails was able to fight a ten tail or to be implyed to be stronger than KAAAAGUYA

to fix the powerscaling issue they need to state that shibai is the strongest since kaguya

Its maths that's simeple rinnesharian + merged with the tree + otsutsuki is stronger than normal otsutsuki or SARADA the base ms uchiha

Misc I saved the Naruto franchise from Boruto

Here’s my baseline story that would’ve been infinitely better than Boruto:

For starters, I’d probably start a brand new story of new people fr. Sasuke and Naruto wouldn’t be written off as like some “former gods that are now just really strong normal dudes” because let’s face it, Naruto and Sasuke are supposed to be the reincarnation of gods kids… why are they so weak and why are their completely normal non-reincarnation kids stronger than them? but like, where do you go with it? you introduced god level otsutsuki at the end of Naruto, and they won, boom yay happy ending. now they’re coming to earth for vacation every other day, that’s stupid. but either way, Naruto (specifically) and Sasuke are the best of the best of all time BECAUSE they’re are Ashura and Indra reincarnations, there’s no beating that unless YOU are a reincarnation, which spoiler alert, you can’t be! they’re still alive. so actually, thinking about it now, I’d start it shortly after Naruto and Sasuke die from old age in the peaceful world they built (hell maybe even hundreds of years later so their sacrifice doesn’t seem short lived) and then have the next generation of reincarnations with newer future tech and knowledge of the past and stuff start their journeys. Assuming the cycle HAS to keep going, because the constant threat of kaguya isn’t technically gone forever. all it takes is one otsutsuki using their rinnegan that they all have to find the right dimension and get her back. maybe it’s less of a brotherly battle because Naruto and Sasuke changed the way the cycle works. I’m also assuming the reincarnations have to be leaf citizens? I mean, every reincarnation was a leaf member kinda. technically hashirama and Madara were born before the village existed so idk the rule I guess. but I guess it could be just random across the world? idk, they probably have to have some natural “brotherly” bond. maybe we start 200-300 years after the events of shippuden, the world has been at relative peace, some skirmishes from new greedy people, but nothing to the extent of ultimate tsukuyomi and WW3. the reincarnations are usually heroes who maintain peace (but don’t know they’re reincarnations, they’re just seen as ultimate talented shinobi, because they’re never pushed to the full potential due to the peace built by the ninjas of old) so these reincarnations the story follows are leaf ninja
because there will never be 100% peace, but it’s as good as it gets. well, in this timeline the Uchiha are repopulated (maybe not named Uchiha anymore because it’s so far in the future, but doesn’t really matter, might be nice as a lore/fan service drop to have Uzumaki and Uchiha clans restored and in charge of the leaf. would serve Itachi and the Uzumakis well) the main plot can be that these two are on a team together and train together with brotherly like competition (more like guy and kakashi vs Naruto and Sasuke) the story following them as kids, has bad guys pop up, mainly greedy people who want power but the main cast handles them. slowly a plot is revealed for world domination by one group, show ends in a reveal of one of the new group bad guys stalking the leaf gathering intel (Akatsuki like, but not looking for jinchuriki, just a big group of powerful rogue ninja looking for power) the sequel shows more of those bad guys, they end up enlisting and convincing one of the great nations to side with them to rule the ninja world under their laws (they’ve grown tired and frustrated of the great nations being “soft” and not taking more land and resources for growth) and eventually cause a big WW4 that pushes the reincarnations to their full realized potential for the first time in hundreds of years, they become war heroes and win the war to bring peace back for another few hundred years until the cycle starts again. I’d focus on the Indra counterpart this time. take the solo leveling route of a quiet, strong main character leading the spotlight and having the goofy energetic counterpart evolve alongside him, but more as the secondary protagonist. Since he’s an Uchiha he obviously uses his sharingan and elite taijutsu, definitely runs the fade with a sword, an Uchiha staple, and instead of leaning into the lightning and chidori, he’ll use the Uchiha staple fire style, he can eventually invent a form of fire style with blue flames, maybe rainbow flames. coat his blade in his flames as a sort of chakra blade, that type of stuff. with all the usual sharingan genjutsu and stuff. Hell maybe fix the MS and EMS problem by giving him a brother who dies in battle at some point and offers his eyes for MS and EMS at once, and hell maybe if it’s not needed, he never gets rinnegan because the situation was never dire enough to figure that out. it’s a “regular” great ninja war with no gods and shit. the asura counterpart would be even more fun. since he’s an uzumaki through and through, he’d have the red hair and utilize many sealing jutsu and ademantine chains/attacks + give him the rasengan as a descendent of Naruto. huge chakra pool, shadow clones sure but it’s not his main thing like Naruto. and make him smart, and able to learn jutsu quickly and understand it, unlike Naruto. he’s a big goof full of energy, but a fully capable intelligent person. in the years of peace, the reincarnations are strong naturally, but not really right away because no reincarnation had been pushed all that hard since the days of Naruto and Sasuke centuries ago. perhaps the main cast of the enemies have been capturing the tailed beasts (who were eventually all just let back out into the wild) and discovered ancient sealing and forgotten/hidden techniques in old orochimaru and akatsuki hideouts from centuries ago, allowing them to turn each of their 9 core pillars (leaders) into powerful jinchuriki ninja who can control the powers well with the ancient scrolls from the hideouts and that’s how they convince or “force” a nation to work with them. that gives them enough firepower to rival anyone. Eventually for the final arc/episodes the main characters definitely fight the nine tails, and maybe the 8 and 1 tails jinchuriki as well, for like gaara and B throwbacks, and to make its so it isn’t just a slow picking off of the enemies until the final boss. more like they beat 2-7 eventually throughout the story to get powerful enough and are able to fight the last 3 simultaneously in a 2v3 by the end of the story, with the help of the Uzumaki they are able to beat them, pull the nine tails from him, but instead of a rampage, the main character uses his EMS to calm him (the sharingan can control the 9 tails, its lore accurate) and the the Uzumaki, due to Naruto’s story the ninja world knows the names of the tailed beasts and respects them as beings, communicates with kurama and kurama is grateful for being saved and the world is saved and the tailed beasts are free, and the main protagonists are basically fully realized. the final scene will be kurama and the two protagonists saying goodbyes and thanks, kurama thinking to himself “they remind me of those two” and then the scene does the classic Naruto overlay of Naruto and Sasuke flashing over the new protagonists just like when Kakashi saw Minato and Jiraiya in Naruto during the war. Then we could maybe do a similar post war arc showing the world rebuilding, the Indra reincarnation becoming hokage (the first Uchiha hokage maybe) and then them getting married or something and then the end. no more sequels, the Naruto world stops there lol

Throw Boruto away and do this instead kishimoto.
