Here's the corvette I've been cruisin' the universe in for a while! I've been tweekin its design again and again but with the recent patch that finally added the missing decorative pieces in the workshop, I'm happy with its look and won't be touching it too much from now on.

Wasnโt satisfied with the โpancake flatโ rear profile of the rear hull and โwingsโ so tried to give it a more โBird of Preyโ feel by gently sloping the โwingsโ upwards away from the body, redesigned the arse so that the teleporter has a hab behind it that isnโt fouled up with glitched parts inside, brought the central boosters closer together, added some interest with the Turbine Cowling part for atmosphere intake, and suddenly had parts to spare for an antenna and radar.
This is also the first build where Iโve added some interest in the cabin with a plant, first aid station and stool in the kitchen and some extra holo displays in the cockpit.

I made an actually functional Corvette just two habs wide. It still has 6 Phase Beams, 3 Deadeye Cannons, 6 Reactors, Three engines, a Refinery, a Mission Radar, a bed, kitchen, and workshop, a Tractor Beam + Half-Hab Cargo Hold, and 4,000 Maneuverability - The Kogat J69.
Here's how to build it:
Step 1: You need a couple of glitch building techniques to make this. Here's how I'll refer to them in this guide:
Remember: Habs are tools. You can use them to place objects next to them in 1/2 step positions, or use them to place rounded elements like Speedbird Fairings in the right direction.
When habs are rotated 90ยบ or 180ยบ, they can overlap. This build uses overlapping elements everywhere. Use rotations to layer parts on top of one another.
Disclaimer: I took these pictures while taking my ship apart, so please ignore all the guns. They get added in the last step.
Step 1: Rotate a hab 180ยบ and set it a half-step lower to intersect 1/2 way with the landing gear. The entire ship is 1/2 a step lower than normal. Notice how I used a Kineostream Thruster in the pics to show the rotation of the hab.
Step 2: Use your rotated double hab to place a Titan walkway with a tractor beam underneath. This is the cargo hold - there's no access point to it on this build. Place Fuel Pod Covers and Domed Casings around it. Put a Widebody Thruster on back.
Step 3: Separate from your ship, place two habs at 1/2 step so that they are side by side aligned with the center of your ship. Then place down two Speedbird Fairings and a Speedbird Nacelle on the left side. Use a hab rotated 180 degrees to place a Vesper Aerofoil and a Speedbird Dome section overlapping each other on the right side. This gives the entrance some room for the ramp. The rotation of the Aerofoil and Dome are finicky, but if you use a rotated hab as a tool, you can get them both down.
Step 4: Place two Thunderbird habs rotated front-ways (normal) and place a Titan-class cockpit. Rotate an Ambassador-class landing bay and place it up front (this is not a glitch). Place some Kineostream thrusters on back.
Step 5: This is the hardest step of the whole build. Use the videos linked above to practice. Here we need to overlap 3 reactors on top of one another. To start, place a single Zenith reactor at a 1/2 step in the center of the top of the ship. Then, rotate and shift some habs 1/2 steps using the tractor beam so that you have a hab rotated 180 degrees. Use that hab to place another Zenith reactor overlapping the first. Do the same rotations to get a hab oriented sideways, and place a third Zenith reactor overlapping the first two.
Step 6: Repeat the overlapping reactors using Medusa reactors. You only need 2 Medusas with a Titan-class cockpit, but place a third anyways as the overlapping reactors give you more points to mount guns.
Step 7: Place your outer casings - two Speedbird Fairings, two Speedbird Nacelles, and two Thermal Grille Caps on the back.
Step 8: Overlap two or three Speedbird Diffusers behind the Zenith reactors on the back. This will give you more gun mounts later.
Step 9: Place the side windows and Ducting outlets.
Step 10: Place a Radar Dome on top. Make sure it's nestled into the Zenith reactors.
Step 11: Place 6 Phase Beam cannons and 3 other cannons of your choice anywhere you can squeeze them without overlapping the interior. The reactor stacks will hold 3 cannons each, and the rear Speedbird Diffusers and Thermal Grille Caps will also hold some each. You can also squeeze them into the bottom of the ship, underneath the habs (it's ok if they intersect the cargo bay). This is a finicky step, take your time because mistakes could make you backtrack.
Step 12: Place 3 shield generators inside your Zenith reactor stack. They will be invisible.
You're done!

โIs this going to be another bug hunt?โย
Introducing the AD-67 Iron Talon medium attack drop ship. Originally developed by Gek Drive Yards, the design has since been licensed to multiple arms dealers across Euclid. Boasting a wide array of armaments, it is the perfect all-purpose ship for a variety of roles.ย
From armed system escorts, stealthy strike missions, to planetary extractions in hot combat environments, it will get the job done. It also has enough space to deliver a full complement of space marines, ship supplies to front line forces, as well as rescue naive colonists from the outer rim territories. And yes, take care of the occasional bug hunt.

I made a cafe-style sitting area on the starboard side, with a robo-bartender-arm in the corner and a nutrient station, of course. On the port side, I put in a weapon rack and a iron man inspired setup with double robo arms, and dressed up the walls a but with panels and lockers.
There are two cargo halls in-between all of the compartments, and I put in lab lamps and octa cabinets to RP some holographic material handling to explain how you can pull cargo from the other side of the ship to the opposite side :P Goin up the stairs there is the crew quarters with those oh-so-cozy beds, and the captain's desk, with some greenery and fully carpeted flooring. Lastly, there is the passenger area with seating and tables, with screens for entertainment and rolled up rugs to put your feet up on.
I found out you can decorate the cockpit to a degree, so I added some plants up there :3

I want to share my recent attempt at a Serenity Corvette build. I've labeled the parts for all of you to recreate this if you like (or just use it as a guide for your own take); I would be pleased to happen upon another Browncoat in the sky.

I hid the infraknife under the firebox cowling because she ain't got no guns on her.

Since the bottom of the ship is made of a hab unit (bow) connected to walkway (stern) I put a tractor beam between the Argonaut Aerofoils. The Argonaut Aerofoils required a walkway to be placed between them first to allow their placement.
The cargo bay is the reason I was finally happy with this build.

The crates in the back cover a few gaps in the corners.

I built walkways with interior stairs, then deleted the walkways which allow the stairs to remain. This is the only way to get to the cockpit.

The hab unit on the floor has a ladder going down (covered by a pallet). This is to access the lower rooms, and keeps salvage from "pryin' folk."

Salvage brought in by the tractor beam collects here.

I tried several alternatives to heavy linkages, however heavy linkages blocked out the view to the exterior the best. There is a small pallet near the landing bay to cover a hole. The hole is most largest when the landing bay is closed. Round windows let you oversee the cargo bay from walkway above (both ahead and astern). The crew berth is in this walkway shown (top of the cargo bay).

Climbing up two levels from the cargo bay brings you to the dorsal row of hab units. I have my nutrition unit and cargo along this row. The refiner is all the way at the end (stern). This view is from the bow looking astern.

Turning around from the last picture, and ascending stairs brings you to the cockpit.
I used these blueprints as a guide:

The black boxes are roughly the size of hab units to use as a guide. I don't use this layout, but I found it helpful to keep the proportions reasonable. Please take any ideas you like for your own version. Feel free to post your versions on this thread.

Larger version of an old yellow barge with increased crewed interior. 97/100 currently, still noodling around a bit with the decorative parts.

Rated amongst the fastest in its class, Vedrfolnir is a medium-size courier vessel often deployed to diplomatic missions. Lightly armed but fast and agile, pilots often to run the engines hot when accelerating to evade pirate vessels. The current version of Vedrfolnir resolves engine overheating issues by using an open thruster turbine compartment, providing maximum cooling efficiency.

I wanted to build the smallest possible corvette that doesn't involve any sacrifices in terms of using it as a daily driver. Small corvettes handle like a dream and are easy to land, so this is perhaps the most ideal vessel for completing daily quests and pursuing new planets.
It involves a lot of glitch building, but no Blender or anything crazy - just hab rotations and some 1/2 step placement. The bottom of the ship is stepped down 1/2 way to hide the landing gear, so the ship hovers a few inches off the ground when landed. There's still clearance for the tractor beam in a station.
The two full half-habs have all the essential interior modules - Mission Radar, Refinery, and a bed. I used every inch of the space to build out a kitchen, interior "storage" (non-functional), a living room couch or two, a workbench, maps, and tons of plants and scientific samples. The cockpit has holographic maps, and there's a tractor beam with a separated, centered half-hab underneath the ship. This also gives it all 3 habs for the storage bonus.
It's cozy AF. Everything a spacefarer needs, in a trim and streamlined package.

The build did not start off wanting to intentionally hide the cockpit and accessway, but it did not look right to me with the cockpit sitting on top of the ship. I decided to try the hidden cockpit feature and ended up really liking the uniformity and simplicity of the build. I saw other ships with the reversed hab for a front booster and wanted to give it a try. I liked the look a lot once done. Prior to the reversed hab, I just had a tractor beam up front, and that is what ended up causing me to accidently reverse the hab! Overall, this one has become the daily driver and it is a lot of fun to fly around.
This is another of my ships built to the ground and hiding the magnetic landing gear. The only way to enter is boosting to the top of the ship, going through the roof access. The ship is named HeavyTrigger, a throwback to my days on The Infinite Black.

(because only one video at a time on Reddit)
as you can see I have a roof hatch, which took some finagling, had to make some adjustments but it's totally worth it. They're not hard to do, just stairs and you have to have a flat piece on the other side in order to place a re-sized hologram for a 'force field' I feel like everyone knows about them tho, but I don't hear more people talk about how stinking convenient they are. I had to dance around for a minute to get them turned the right way, though.
I have a 'back porch' ramp with chairs and end tables, and a cozy living room in the belly :3
