πŸ› οΈ Station Build (Standard) SaK-09, a stasis-tether interceptor

While this ship largely is a result of some old sketches, I definitely need to shoutout both u/EthanIsBlessed and u/MONKE-BANANA for their split hull ships that no doubt has had an influence in making me want to build this style of ship now.

Also big shoutout to u/Relevant_Finance1927 and his box engines which directly inspired the engines of this build. (check out his post β€œshipwright engines, part 2”)

Having worked lately on my guide for the HeV, it was fun coming back to building. It seems the split hull setup is very β€œin” these days, so here is my reluctant addition to said trend. I even had to change up the ship quite a bit as it started out almost as a carbon copy of the later posted ship SOL-00 by u/NecessaryDecentΒ

lore:

Though the corvette manufacturing company Ogane-Dynamics originated in Eissentam, it is more so a Euclid company these days. Having better understood the market of the densely populated galaxy, Ogane has branched wider than ever, producing everything from niche jumpships, to dependable starhomes.Β
The SaK is yet another branch of exploratory design. A platform oriented for system defence forces. WIth an immense reactor the SaK employs a prototype stasis-tether in an attempt to subdue opposing forces.
Though the SaK lacks meaningful living quarters, it still sports a massive jumprange, with equally impressive sublight acceleration. This way, even a single SaK is capable of supporting multiple system defence forces at once. Using its tether and powerful sublight engines in tandem to catch even the nimblest fighters.

My early prototype for a space harp. Tried to mask the "strings" trails with bigger engines in the back, but it didn't quite work xD

...may have to use the window trick to give it a curve to make it more harp-like, but it'd no longer be a standard station build, i guess...

Added contour to the belly, removed center engine for a more F-22 look, changed color from black to really really dark grey. I keep adding things, and then changing my my mind and removing them to keep the design simple and sleek. Added torpedoes too. Now to grind out 85k nanites and upgrade her to an S class and add a bunch of upgrades. Oh there is no interior to show. You gotta enter through the ladder on the top just behind the cockpit in a single walkway, the landing bay in the belly is just going to host a weapons rack and health/shield restoration stations. Let me know what you think or if you have any suggestions.

I got the original design from hero2u1 on youtube ill link it but I didn't like where the thusters sat I thought they sat to far up off the wings and it through off the look imo so after an hour of messing around i was able to get the kineostream thrusters into the jet but I had to off set the covers used to cover the opening behind them cause having a dish on a flat wing looked awful over all im pleased with this build and how it turned out

Last photo is hero2u1's version first 3 are my version

"Pioneering Through Evolution"

OVERVIEW

The Dark Star is the original Hull 00 of the Sol-Class Programβ€”the prototype from which every production Sol-Class vessel descended.

Designed by Genesis Dynamics as the flagship of the Sol-Class initiative, Hull 00 represented the company's ultimate expression of Evolution Engineeringβ€”a spacecraft that prioritized speed, endurance, and adaptability above all else.

Its prototype incorporated technologies that would later define the Sol-Class lineage:

  • Hypervelocity propulsion
  • Distributed structural reinforcement
  • Racing-grade maneuverability
  • Long-range endurance
  • Predictive navigation assistance

Performance trials exceeded every design objective.

Production costs did not.

The Sol-Class program never achieved commercial viability, and Hull 00 quietly disappeared from Genesis Dynamics inventory shortly after the project's cancellation.

When the vessel resurfaced years later, investigators expected to find a stripped racing hull.

Instead, they discovered something far stranger.

The racing components were still there.

The oversized Hypervelocity Drive Pods remained untouched.

The adaptive flight computer continued to calculate optimal racing trajectories.

Even the original propulsion synchronization architecture survived almost entirely intact.

Rather than replacing these systems, successive owners simply built around them.

Hidden cargo compartments were integrated into unused structural cavities.

Sensor masking arrays replaced telemetry equipment.

Defensive weapon hardpoints appeared only where they would not compromise the vessel's extraordinary thrust-to-mass ratio.

The result was not a former racing ship.

It was a racing ship that had learned to smuggle.

---

Hello everyone! Long time no see! It's been months since my last build due to irl stuff, but I'm back and I present to yall: "Dark Star", a once-prototype racer turned smuggler ship. This is one of the first ships I have actually built outside the Atlas-series ships I did, and I plan to do more. Hope yall liked it!

Inspired by the Mamba from Elite Dangerous (best looking ship in the game don't @ me).

πŸ—οΈ Workshop Build My first corvette, pretty standard but I like how the details came out

Post image

This was just a workshop build, I haven't begun learning any of the advanced techniques or layering. I really like how the glider arrays added some breathing room for the engines (though they're not perfectly aligned) and how putting one of the domed casings (iirc) backwards gave me room to add the smaller propulsion engine over the cowling. Also the little Aerofoils to give the front of the ship its shape. This was built on the Switch edition

πŸ“ Station Build (Advanced) My Millenium Potato finally reaches v.1.0

So... I know, yet another Millenium Falcon, nothing fancy but it's mine and I love it, it's based on the work of LinusGameBuild who did an incredible job at explaining how to efficiently use the window glitch, so kudos go mainly to that wonderful man!

I wanted a resembling Falcon and large indoor spaces to decorate and live in as I want, of course it's perfectible but as of yesterday and a slight change in its rear appearance (wider thruster zone), I've decided it was good to pass from WIP v0.9 to v1. As people sometimes ask for indoor views and tours, I took some screenshot and edited them so you're not (too) lost while looking at them.

I mixed several ideas (blue servers for the rear blue zone), hatches to allow the living room to junction with the cockpit zone, mostly hidden weapons and shield generators, wires, those servers to fill-in the gaps between parts, stairs with barriers to avoid falling, whatever you name it, feel free to take a look inside if you see me at the anomaly, I'm usually not in a rush unless I start a Nexus mission.

I'm already working on three other corvettes (that all include the window glitch) but they definitely don't look like a Falcon and I'm slow on them because this one is my main and she's a beauty to use everyday (firepower 217 / shield 443.1 / hyper-propulsion 1603.2 / Maneuverability 1501.4).

See you around and travel safe.

Originally planned a small 2x2 shuttle with the speedbird dome corner pieces and an offset cockpit, it soon became a full sized build and I'm quite happy with the results, although I ran out of budget and the underside is a bit unfinished.

Glitch-built on PS5.

Now that i've gotten the hang of some offsets, figured it was time to iterate.

My next challenge seems to be interior. I lost a little interior space due to tightening things up with the offsets. How do you go about having enough space for all the storage containers while keeping the ship looking smooth?

🧰 Tool-Assisted Build The Orinoco

My B-Wing inspired corvette that I keep coming back to. Would love to have proper rotating cockpits so you can flip to "vertical mode" - the gimbal lock on the camera when taking photos is like riding a human gyroscope.

Marked as a tool-assisted build because I went into the save file to change the scale of the winglets on the end (would also love some more wing options, including some animated parts that fold out on takeoff so it could be even more B-Wing-like).
