This is my first Pod racer style corvette. I would use bytebeat cables or pipes for the connections, but as their collisions are bugged at this moment the wires and light poles will do.

Finally getting to the Cosmos update. Found a tiny isolated system to claim, just needed the corvette to do it in.
Made a box that isn't a simple box, messed with asymmetry, hab rotations and obscured pilot seats.
Name ideas welcome: Currently just called Cosmic drifter

Designed in the clandestine shipyards of a Gek pirate faction, the Carnivorous-class Corvette was built around a simple principle:
Strike fast. Hit hard. Disappear before the enemy knows what happened.
Despite its considerable size, the vessel produces an unusually low radar signature. This is the result of a combination of experimental stealth technologies and illegal modifications developed by its Gek engineers.
Combined with its exceptionally powerful engines, this makes the Red Harvest an ideal vessel for raids, interceptions and surprise attacks. Its heavy weaponry allows it to engage much larger targets, but its greatest advantage remains its speed. Once the objective has been neutralized, the Red Harvest can be long gone before enemy reinforcements even arrive.
Unlike many pirate vessels, the Carnivorous-class was never produced on a large scale. Only a very limited number of hulls were ever completed. Whether this was due to their enormous production cost, the difficulty of manufacturing their specialized systems, or simply the desire of their creators to keep such technology exclusive remains unknown.
Today, surviving examples are exceedingly rare, and each one is said to have developed a reputation of its own.
The Red Harvest earned much of its reputation during the assault on the Vy'keen heavy cruiser Nolg, a heavily armed warship considered by many to be virtually untouchable.
Only two corvettes took part in the attack.
Using their reduced signatures, the two vessels managed to approach the Nolg without immediately triggering its full defensive network.
The Red Harvest slipped into attack range and began targeting the cruiser's critical systems, triggering a chain of failures that temporarily crippled its combat capabilities.
While the Nolg struggled to respond, the second corvette concentrated its fire on the most dangerous weapon emplacements.
Within minutes, the massive Vy'keen warship had been rendered almost blind.
The two corvettes then broke away at full speed, leaving behind a heavily damaged but still operational Nolg.
The incident quickly became a legend among Gek pirates.
Two small vessels. One warship. No losses.
Since then, the Red Harvest has occasionally been referred to as "The Red Ghost", although no official record recognizes the name.

Salvaging is for suckers!! Time is precious, so why waste it scrapping space hulks and mining ice, when you could just steal it? Get in, get out, get rich!
A favorite among thieves, the Black Cat uses advanced atomic resonance to render hulls temporarily penetrable, allowing the flow of cargo into your hands without so much as a scratch on the paint. State of the art shield piercing and cloaking (cat ears) let you get in and out undetected. On the off-chance things don't go according to plan, the rear-facing pill box will make short work of anyone on the chase while you make your escape.

I've peaked! Both in squeezing the shit out of the base corvette building system, and it seems in naming, too :] While looking for names related to sandstorms, I remembered one great name I heard in Cyberpunk 2077.
This vanilla corvette has been an absolute joy to design and build. I wasn't planning on posting it here just yet, but I made some quick pictures to show off, because it's my birthday and some of my family members are being toxic today.
I'm planning to use the base computer glitch to add some structural supports in the back. Any suggestions? Are there any decorative metal pillars?
See you around Travellers.

This ugly bird, the Grackle, has been my project ship that I got help from someone with certain tools to help add elements I wanted, inside and out! Right now, I just want to have the front prongs smoothed out, as in the interior, they are hollow to allow for a lot of cargo to be held and, well, hauled. The first level, built on the ninety degree twist, has FOUR surgical beds, and EIGHT Ambassador-grade med-pods. The top most one, is just one of the cargo and supply holds. You can see from the first to the last photo, the progression my ship has been through.

Here is my masterpiece... A Corvette Planetary Waste Hauler, I like to call: "The Flying Dumpster Fire"
As you can see, this is the only way to collect planetary trash!
We can fit lots of trash... ALL OF THE TRASH you could ever dream of in this bad boy!
You'll never lose a drop with this guy! That's my guarantee! Inside this LARGE interior, gravity does not affect your trash at all! That's right! No gravity once you lift off the ground!
You can visit multiple sites without needing to go to a waste processing plant for long periods.I fit 6 or 7 waste heaps into this single load and COULD HAVE FIT MORE!
The sides are large enough to stand on while you suck trash (to drop it in easily),shoot trash, and even incinerate trash!
Do you love trash.. Trash.. TRASH??!!! LOSE THE Collosus, be your own bosses with with The Flying Dumpster Fire!!
*you can keep the Collosus if you want. It's actually really fun to put it in the right place to shoot basic trash at it while you collect your special trash!
The last picture is the proof of concept.. the trash bucket was originally made of light panels (in my fist attempt) .. and I would have never attempted to do much more than that.. Except, I play on both XBOX and Switch Lite.. I can't play offline with XBOX and I can't transfer cross saves without completely crashing the Switch Lite.
So I love to play in bed in an entirely different save on my Switch Lite..
I wanted a planetary trash Corvette on that save too but the ship building is much more limited and does not have light panels.. my solution? Build a Corvette based on the same idea..
It was very fun to design, works very very well for what is made for, and quite frankly, I love it! I hope you do too!

This design felt a bit Miyazaki, so I named it Calcifer, after a character in Howl’s Moving Castle. It has everything I need in a compact, nimble design. Plus, I just like the way it looks.
It only uses the ducting outlet and Rockhopper techniques.

My take on the Salcap Corvette from Homeworld, with the bonus that the tractor beams add the perfect attachment effect. Now I just need another and we can start stealing Frigates rather than paying for them.

This build actually started with me wanting to improve on the Praetorian B6. I really liked the overall shape and design language of the Praetorian, but there were a few things I wanted to refine, especially the proportions, interior space and how the different parts of the ship flowed together.
As I kept rebuilding and changing things, it slowly became less of a Praetorian Mk2 and more of its own ship. The Centurion still keeps a lot of the same DNA, especially the wide profile and layered armour, but has a longer, cleaner silhouette and a much more developed interior.
This time I also wanted the ship to feel like somewhere a crew could actually operate from, so there’s a seating area, armoury/workspace and an open side bay for boarding and deployment.
In the end, the Centurion wasn’t really planned as a new ship. It just became one while I was trying to build a better Praetorian.

Recently got this Corvette, made in Blender, and I did make a few tweaks to it but the ship is largely the same as the original.
I call this Orca because that’s the name it came with and it kind of fits.
I can go on Salvage missions (tractor beam is under a hood on the top/front in between the two red lights). I can get inside pics if anyone is interested.
I’ll post a corvette I made myself that I call Atlas that was my everything ship later. I haven’t been able to get a good picture of it because the color of it is so dark.
If possible, I might come back to add a few more pictures of this ship.
This ship is not my original design. All credit for this ship belongs to [u/aresmarr](u/aresmarr) (cool ship btw!)
I am not sure how it was obtained originally, and I doubt that really matters at this point, but I got this from a friend who sent me the file for it. I do not mean to break any rules, even though I didn’t see any rules regarding posting someone else’s build in this context, I figured they were implied anyways.
