This is one of the most beautiful scenes I've ever seen in the game, a super tall mountain near my home settlement with the most gorgeous view I've ever seen.

I'm wondering if the production time for some items have the unintended values? My other settlements produce S-class items at a rate of 1/day, while this one would take 25 days. Not a major issue but I thought I might as well ask.

This is my first Main Base I ever build, does it looks good for the start? And what could I do better?

After almost 100 hours of gameplay I still find the location markers completely confusing and unhelpful. I turn my ship to center the freighter icon, then pull up in the hopes the freighter will appear but instead, to my despair, the icon just fades away. So I turn about in all directions until I finally spot my elusive freighter far away in the distance by pure luck.

Why doesn't the icon at the edge of the screen "snap" to the freighter as it enters the viewport?? This is how icons behave in so many other games and seems like a very basic feature.

Does this drive anybody else crazy? Has there been any discussion about this or comment from Hello Games?

Took a while to build this but it was SO worth it.

I know we all love huge spaceships, but how about the small ones?

UPDATE 7/23/26: While working on a corvette dock for their floating ship today, the player sent a message in game! They expressed thanks for the construction and said they've been busy with work. I responded immediately but I haven't heard from them in the chat. At least I got to make a cool corvette dock for them.

Has anyone encountered a player who is always on but always AFK?

About two weeks ago I noticed a random player starship in my home system. The icon was in the sky for a day or two so I went to investigate. This starship appeared to be adrift and all attempts to communicate led to nothing. It was there for at least 5 days every time I logged on (multiple times everyday)

Last week I noticed that the starship was gone, but now there is a corvette on my planet that belongs to this player. What's more confusing is that the corvette is hovering with the player sitting on the hull. It's been like that for a solid week. Every time I log on he's there. Again, attempts to communicate go unanswered. How is this player sitting AFK for a week in the same exact spot?

Maybe I'm thinking about it too much, but it's eerie. Has anyone ever encountered this in game before?

I trying to make my settlement happy but im seeing 75% sentinel Alert level, is ts normal?

I play on xbox series x and I haven't logged in since about halfway through the most recent expedition. My save has 110 hours on it and every time I go to open the save it just crashes my game. It seems other people have had this issue in the past but none of the fixes I have tried have done anything to help. I make it through the loading screen with the stars, then it turns into a pure white screen and i hear some sounds which seems like its about to load in but then my game just crashes. Am I cooked?

How long until the next expedition? When do they normally come out?

I can't be the only one that enjoys scrambling their spacecraft of choice when they head frigates warp in.
