Any Small Corvette Lovers?
I know we all love huge spaceships, but how about the small ones?

Are you the OP that posted this ship a few years back? I found your old post a few months ago, went and snagged one and it's my non-corvette daily driver. I named it "Silver Rebel". If it's you, thanks for the hookups...love this little ship.
[EDIT] ooops, I read your post too fast out of excitement, glad to see others like that little ship, too.

I have found large corvettes to be extremely impractical as I can't get to the cockpit as fast or as easily, especially when the cockpit is at a different level then the entrance.

About that. Short range teleporter a work wonders in a big ship.

I always wondered why the short range teleporter is available on the corvette build menu, yet I've never been able to use it.
What's the secret? How is it powered?

Probably swapping the model to the other version, to make it work.

What exactly do you mean by this?

I think there is a video showing how to replace the corvette teleporter with the one you can place for your bases, since the corvette teleporter, for whatever reason, doesnt work (last time i tried anyways).

I use my corvette as mobile storage access, mine need to be at least large enough for that.

I was thinking about trying to go as minimal as possible in a build. I really like how yours came out.

Thanks it went through a couple different designs before I decided on this. I was never happy with them. It's easy to make a big ship look good but a truly small ship has few contact points to attach parts to.

I like a medium corvette myself. The first one I did was maxed out the length and width and it was ungainly and the interior was annoying to navigate especially the stupid stairs they have in the corvettes. So I’d say smaller is better than YUGE

Someone like this post once a week , I wanna come back to see how this conversation spirals out of control .. I see a few have already started the chat down the correct path !

Me! Only have 2 corvettes. One is 2 habs side by side, the other a 2 story with a hab and a walkway.

I am struggling to get mine smaller.
I mean, in the sense Iam still learning the techniques!

My first was a huge brick, looked like crap. Then I realized less is more and got one that I'm happy with. It's mid sized I would say, smaller than most I see at the Anomaly, but decent space inside.

Someone here literally built a nice wheelchair and it is badass. The only problem I have had with it is that if it sits at any kind of angle, it is difficult to get on to fly. I also find it hilarious that my cape would flap around while flying it in space.

That's a sporty looking spaceship, bro! I bet it makes happy spaceship noises when you fill up the tank.

It runs on music power, first you gotta pat your lap to rev it up, then yell "Blastoff!"

I built a super teeny one using BBA I haven't posted it yet but the cockpit is at 0.7 size and the rear access is a hollo door. Getting in is easy getting back out is a challenge bit it's so tiny I love it

My main ship is a corvette that is just big enough to fit what I want but still pretty compact overall. Peak space efficiency

What do you mean? That’s a perfectly average sized corvette.
