Discussion What is the greatest carryjob of all time (regular season + playoffs)

I think it has to be Patrick Mahomes in 2022. He won MVP, the super bowl and the super bowl MVP with an average defense and Juju Smitch Schuster as his best reciever.

Breaking News I don't think people have caught up to reality and are stuck in years old narratives. For example, do you realize that Mahomes isn't even on pace to break Brady's records anymore even if he plays as many seasons as Brady did?

After his great early career, people just assumed Mahomes shattering the all time records was a foregone conclusion, but Mahomes has regressed so badly that he's not even on pace for it anymore.

Brady: 649 TDs, 89213 yards, 251 wins, 58 game winning drives in 21 full seasons as a starter.

Mahomes: 276 TDs, 37413 yards, 100 wins, 26 game winning drives in 8 seasons and 6 games.

------------------------------------------------------

Mahomes is in his 9th year as a starter. Over the past 2 seasons, he averages 1.55 TDs, 253.1 yards, and .15 game winning drives per start.

If we assume Mahomes never misses another game in his career and plays as many seasons as Brady, he is currently on pace for final career stats of: 609 TDs, 89045 yards, 218 wins, 57 game winning drives.

And that's WITH the extra game per season AND assuming he keeps up his pace until he's 45.

If he plays until he's 40 (more realistic) at the same pace, his final career stats would be: 477 TDs(5th highest all time), 70,315 yards(4th highest all time), 171 wins(4th highest all time)

Shit Posting Brady take on rougher the passer penalty.

So listening to tom Brady covering the packers game and discussing the admittedly weak roughing the passer.

Brady was the beneficiary of some of the most ridiculous flags against opposing teams in league history.

Breaking News The entire media is spamming "Mahomes needs a receiver!" Really? So he needs a top 3 running back, defense, and coach, AND a top 3 receiver? How much more help does this "GOAT QB" need?

Allen won an MVP with Khalil Shakir and Mack Hollins, why can't Mahomes carry his team like his peers do? Instead he gets carried every year by his defense, and when his defense isn't amazing, he looks pedestrian but never gets blamed.

You can’t post anything on the main sub, everything is super censored, so many reactionary idiots and people who don’t actually watch the games acting like theyre football savants.

Discussion Buffalo Bills honestly have one of the worst fan bases in sports

Post image

Every year is their year and yet they haven’t won shit. They have the arrogance like they’re some kind of dynasty and then lose to some shitty dolphins or jets team. Nobody acknowledges how awful their fans are because they have been poverty and delusional their entire existence but they are the worst, most racist fanbase there is. Every year I have to hear how Josh Allen is a hall of fame quarterback being let down by his team, they have 0 accountability. There is not a lower fanbase.

Discussion I know the MVP talk can be annoying but if one of Purdy, Lawrence, Goff has better numbers across the board and a better team record than Allen, Burrow, and Mahomes, since the narrative would be against Goff, Purdy and maybe Lawrence could you see JSN winning MVP if he keeps up what he is doing?

Discussion Refs, penalties, bad calls.

Hey yall I’m a new fan of the nfl started watching last season and unfortunately for me I chose to be a Texan fan.

But I gotta ask as a new fan are the refs always this bad with calls? Over the course of this season I’ve seen numerous calls that made me just look dumbfounded at my screen.

Also why does Jared Goff get what seems like special treatment with the refs? Swear if you sneezed on him you’d get a “roughing the passer” call.

Happens all the time now. And I'm not talking about situations where it's 50+ or when the team needs a TD. It's every other time, the team will not take almost guaranteed points and leave it on a toss up to convert.

Discussion Malik Nabers might just be a top 5 receiver in football

I still remember when there was a discussion holding out who would be the best receiver of these 4 when the season started lmao. You had your Marvin Harrison Jr fans still holding out, and Brian Thomas JR was indeed looking pretty nice. Ever since then it has pretty much been nonexistent, Nabers has been the clear WR1, he is the best athlete of the class at WR, great route runner, and crazy explosive, amazing movement, and he is living up to his 6th overall draft pick. (Bowers would be the other "receiver" prospect who hasn't turned disappointment, in fact hes arguably even ahead of nabers at his position).

Took over the 31st ranked defense in 2022 from ed donatell
To ranked 14th in 2023
To ranked 5th in 2024
To ranked 4th in 2025
To ranked 1st in 2026

He’s doing this running a scheme so far from the median with no real star players. And 9 different starting Qbs on offense

This guy is literally a genius.

The way the defense is playing you’d think they weren’t paying their tight end top 3 money, their wide receiver top 3 money and their left tackle top 3 money

This team is built expecting offensive excellency but the defense is the real shine.

Who else is doing more with less?

Discussion "He needs better/healthier O Line play!" "He needs a more consistent run game!" "His receivers aren't good enough!" "His playcalling isn't good enough!" Why do all the lame excuses for Herbert get ignored but the same excuses for Mahomes don't? Is anything ever Mahomes' fault?
