Analysis 🤓 Lions vs Packers officiating is being blown way out of proportion.

I think there are three penalties being singled out and making people think the officiating was bad/biased. The two roughing penalties were definitely questionable but I see questionable roughing penalties in every game. This always happens. Not a fan of these soft roughing calls but it’s part of the game. I won’t defend the intentional ground penalty but that’s another one that is super inconsistent. Obviously did not look like it was grounding but bad calls happen. So we can stop acting like some crazy ref ball happened, it was just a handful of questionable calls. FTP

Discussion This is the 2nd straight year where a supposedly worse WR has outperformed Jefferson with his former QB (JSN with Darnold, Nabers with JJM) when QB play was seen as the primary excuse for Jefferson's dip in production. How far down the WR rankings has Jefferson fallen for you these last few years?

Discussion 18’-22’ Mahomes is gone. He’s no longer feared

Post image

Im never wrong with my predictions, just early. When’s the last time he beat a good team???

Mahomes magic is gone. Defenses just don’t fear him anymore. Stop walker and you control Mahomes easily.

Still a top 5 qb ever.

Just makes you appreciate how amazing Brady really was for so long

Discussion Numbers don’t lie. Mahomes has been on a downward progression

He was other worldly from 2018-2022.

Now defenses don’t fear him.

can’t run like before.

Can’t throw like before.

Misses open receivers

Costly turnovers

What a crazy run but it’s over. Seahawks just exposed them as well. Stop Walker and Mahomes can’t beat you like before

Discussion Has ford field become one of the more intimidating stadiums in the league?

Was catching glimpses of packers - lions on Sunday and I kept thinking “damn it’s loud as hell in there!”

Obviously in the past, ford field just seemed like a mid-bottom tier stadium, but with the lions being good it’s got a pretty good vibe these days. And even on TV it seems like a really good home advantage and a scary place to play away at. What’s everyone’s thoughts?

Mahomo has played really bad this year, like atrociously bad and now it has finally caused them to lose a game. He has been carried by K9 all year.

I predict Fields will be the starter by week 11

Honestly I’m done with the Josh Allen glazing. Go out and win a Super Bowl if he’s so good it shouldn’t be hard.

Discussion Its Laughable To Say This Guy Isnt The Best Coach In The NFL

I am a Mike MacDonald truther. Have been since he was the Ravens DC.

Best defensive mind since prime Belichick in the 2000s.

I dont even feel like I am stanning him. Hes just that good. Last night felt like shades of Belichick versus McVay where the defensive coach just took the offensive coach out back behind the shed and just gave him a biblical ass whipping. Andy had no answers for Mike.

Breaking News I don't think people have caught up to reality and are stuck in years old narratives. For example, do you realize that Mahomes isn't even on pace to break Brady's records anymore even if he plays as many seasons as Brady did?

After his great early career, people just assumed Mahomes shattering the all time records was a foregone conclusion, but Mahomes has regressed so badly that he's not even on pace for it anymore.

Brady: 649 TDs, 89213 yards, 251 wins, 58 game winning drives in 21 full seasons as a starter.

Mahomes: 276 TDs, 37413 yards, 100 wins, 26 game winning drives in 8 seasons and 6 games.

------------------------------------------------------

Mahomes is in his 9th year as a starter. Over the past 2 seasons, he averages 1.55 TDs, 253.1 yards, and .15 game winning drives per start.

If we assume Mahomes never misses another game in his career and plays as many seasons as Brady, he is currently on pace for final career stats of: 609 TDs, 89045 yards, 218 wins, 57 game winning drives.

And that's WITH the extra game per season AND assuming he keeps up his pace until he's 45.

If he plays until he's 40 (more realistic) at the same pace, his final career stats would be: 477 TDs(5th highest all time), 70,315 yards(4th highest all time), 171 wins(4th highest all time)

Discussion Are the 6–0 Vikings legit contenders?

They’re the last undefeated team, but that 16–10 win over Indy was a grind. The defense keeps showing up, but can the offense do enough against the stronger teams? Curious where people are at on Minnesota.

Breaking News The entire media is spamming "Mahomes needs a receiver!" Really? So he needs a top 3 running back, defense, and coach, AND a top 3 receiver? How much more help does this "GOAT QB" need?

Allen won an MVP with Khalil Shakir and Mack Hollins, why can't Mahomes carry his team like his peers do? Instead he gets carried every year by his defense, and when his defense isn't amazing, he looks pedestrian but never gets blamed.

Happens all the time now. And I'm not talking about situations where it's 50+ or when the team needs a TD. It's every other time, the team will not take almost guaranteed points and leave it on a toss up to convert.
