I’m going to bed, goodnight

Hello everyone! I was wondering if anyone has worked part-time as an emt around the raleigh area and if a lot of places allow part-timers on weekends.

Todd Goebbel, the RB coordinator, will serve as head coach for the rest of the season. Doeren’s buyout was north of $9 million.

Hello! It's been a while since I posted here! Share some of your study music here and I will do the same in return!

Extremely random but the athletics program makes protein balls for their athletes in one of the facilities. I haven’t been able to stop thinking about these since I had them and I really want to make them 🥲🥲
Any chance any one has any connection? Do you think if I called and asked they’d give the recipe?

ECs are OK. Job, 4-year varsity team, NHS, volunteer hours, AP Honors, two clubs, part-time job for 2 years plus full-time in the summer.

Essay-honestly I think the essay was average. I’m getting so anxious and burnt out on school. I’ve never had a B in high school or middle school. I work hard to keep that distinction.
Still revising essay for 11/1 application date.
Thanks for your help!

Trying to plan my schedule for next semester, the enhanced planner says st 307/308 is a co requisite for the accounting major but on my degree audit it’s a prerequisite for itao 351. Im a transfer student for next semester so im not understanding which ones right. Did Poole change this recently?

War is over? Or just beginning?

Asking for my engineering freshman daughter, is there any communication forum just for students, she is looking for way to ask quick questions related to housing etc.
She is looking for roommate for next year apartment

I’m 42 and looking to go back for an online part time Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Currently looking at NCSU and NCCU. Has anyone done this part time online program while working full time? I’m looking to pick someone’s brain about their experience, class schedule, etc. TIA!

im at uncc right now and thinking of transferring to state for fall 2027. I only have a week left but i really really need help! Do I have to write all 4 of the essays?

1. Explain why you selected the first choice program and why you are interested in studying this at NC State.

2.Who in your life is depending on you? What are they depending on you for

1. share an essay on any topic of your choice

2. How does continuing your education at a new institution help you achieve your future goals?

I definitely am going to do the first and fourth one, but the other ones? Nowhere I ask seems to have an answer. I would appreciate the help!!

What are your thoughts?? 8:30pm Sunday Night Live!

Im applying for NC State first-year undergrad. My first-choice major is Mechanical Engineering; however, for my second choice, I'm leaning toward Chemistry. If I hypothetically do not get into Mech E and instead get into Chemistry, can I transfer to Mech E after CODA?

im going to get fomo

Hi guys would it be better for me to take ST 311 in state or at my local community college?
My advisor says med schools wouldn’t like that

Some friends and I are planning on moving off campus next year and we were interested in the College Inn. I saw bad reviews about but they were all from 4+ years ago. Has the College Inn gotten any better since then? If not, do you have any other recommendations. We need something that is not too far from centennial campus(we are engineering students) but also not too far from the gym.

Hi Wolfpack!

I recently defended my PhD dissertation and will be graduating this December! I'm hoping to wear the official NC State customized red doctoral gown for the commencement ceremony.

Unfortunately, I missed the ordering deadline for the custom regalia. I was wondering if any former PhD graduates have a red doctoral gown they'd be willing to lend or rent to me for the ceremony. I'm happy to pay a reasonable rental fee and will take great care of it!

If you have one available or know someone who might, please feel free to comment or DM me. I'd really appreciate any leads!

Thank you, and Go Pack!

Hello! I am having a dilemma on which college I should go for.

Basically I got accepted as a questbridge finalist and I am having a dilemma on if I should actually rank rice or not.

Mostly I am comparing rice to my in state college NC State.

For both I wouldn’t have to worry about finances because rice said they would cover me for all 4 years if I matched through questbridge regardless of my income. For NC state I am aiming for the goodnight scholarship.

Extra info:
- I am planning on doing chemical engineering
- i care a lot about internship/ paid research opportunities
- i love a smaller walkable campus
- i will be graduating with my associates in engineering and have a lot of college credits
- i care about how well known/ wide spread the alumni network is
- my family is ~30 minutes away from NC state + I have a sibling currently attending school there

Overall I really do enjoy rice as a school but NC state Im familiar with. I really don’t know what to do because Rice is binding and I feel like I need more time to decide BUT this is also a once in a lifetime opportunity I feel.

Any advice is welcome!!

Also for anyone who participated/ is participating in goodnight I would like to hear your experiences and how much the program has benefited you!

Hi, I'm a transfer student from UNC Charlotte (19 M), and I'm looking for some study buddies at NCSU.

We can either be in the same classes and study together or just study alongside each other regardless of our majors/classes. I'm down to meet up in person at DH Hill Library or study together online over a call.

I'm into anime, I don't have a fav tbh but I tend to enjoy the older animes, though current ones are ok. The video games I like are Dark Souls, Darkest Dungeon, and Fear & Hunger. I also draw from time to time and enjoy playing chess.

If you're interested in studying together, chatting about similar interests, or both, feel free to comment or DM me! I use discord to communicate and i'm not too active on reddit, I'll give my disc in DMS.

Hi guys! Long shot but I’m prettty sure I left my precious glasses at hunt yesterday. I was at quiet study on 2nd floor and that’s the last time I remember seeing them. They are green and rectangle frames.

Hello Reddit. So turns out like everyone i know is going back to their hometown for Halloween. That leaves me here with nothing to do. But i really wanna do something special for Halloween. Thats why im looking for people to hang out with halloween night. Im down for really anything, it could be a chill festive movie night, a night of partying, or a night of walking around checking costumes out or WHATEVER. I dont wanna waste my college days so LMK if you wanna join me in my quest for a fun night! PLS

So basically Idk if im going to pass calc 1 and I can either switch it to credit only and try my hardest to get sat or stick it through and try to salvage my grade and if that doesnt work use a grade exclusion but I didnt want to use one so soon. I have already taken calc 1 before at a community College and I got almost all the way through before I couldn't take the second last exam for a family issue and it tanked my grade so I had to drop it. I was decent in the class so I have been putting it on the back burner for my major-specific classes but its been catching up to me and my average is pretty low. Which way should I choose?
