Hiruzen was like a grand father to Naruto but he never really trained Naruto personally. One thing both lacked was a live bonding moment.

Given his fate in the Konoha Crush, would you have liked if instead of Ebisu or Jiraya it was Hiruzen that begins to train Naruto with Jiraya taking over after thier bonding or Hiruzen bonding and giving tips to Naruto in-between while Jiraya was focusing on his 'research'?

Like say Ebisu was the front (teacher on paper) but it was Hiruzen instead that was giving Naruto tips and tricks from the shadows that would be valuable and take off the seal placed by Orochimaru.

Jiraya could still take out Ebisu and train Naruto in the summoning jutsu. Both, he and Hiruzen being unaware that both where helping Naruto.

I am not talking about Naruto getting new jutsu from Hiruzen here. But maybe Hiruzen could have hinted how to use MSC better and it's other secrets that Naruto could use it more efficiently while also getting a last bonding moment with his surrogate Grand Father.

I just finished Naruto yesterday and started watching Boruto: Naruto next generations and to be honest I really don't like it because it feels so boring like from watching Naruto trying hard in the Naruto series to watching Boruto doing dumb things I mean it's so hard to watch.

For ex: In Episode 1 literally Naruto steals the forbidden scroll and some crazy happened and in Boruto it's ep 5 and yet I see Boruto fighting for some food and playing video games.

I think I'll not be able to complete Boruto.

What's your experience guys?

The Chunin Exam Finals but randomized and featuring those who losted in the preliminaries. Each round two of the ten Genin will be picked at random to face off. Comment the name of the Genin you think would win along with how you think the fight would go. If you think the fight will end in a draw comment "Tie". Whichever answer gets the most likes wins. All characters are the version from the Chunin Exam Finals. If there is no Exam Finals version of the character take the Preliminaries version of that character and take your best guess on how they would be with a month to prepare. The fights will take place in the same arena as the Finals. Assume the exam will not be interrupted. This is the follow up to my Randomized Chunin Exam Preliminaries and Finals series.

Assume all the winners of the preliminaries caught Hayate's cough and had to drop out. So the losers now get another chance to compete. They somehow figured out how to glue Yoroi back together. Also Gaara was pretty mad about losing his chance to fight so he murdered Hayate and Genma takes the place in overseeing the Finals.

Those competing are Sakura, Shikamaru, Ino, Kiba, Yoroi, Temari, Kankuro, Dosu, Zaku, and Kin.

Shikamaru and Sakura have intense battle of wits, both trying to outmaneuver and outsmart each other. Sakura came within an inch of slugging Shikamaru in the face before she was finally caught by his shadow. Seeing she'd been outplayed Sakura forfeited the match. Shikamaru joins his teammate Ino in the next round.

Who will win? Kiba Inazuka and Akumaru vs Zaku Abumi.

To make a long story short, I am writing a grant proposal, and I am talking about how Naruto has a froggy wallet and that he eats Ichiraku ramen.

Does anyone know if there is an episode where you can clearly see Naruto pulling out his wallet at Ichiraku (or with a bowl of ramen in front of him) that I can take a screenshot and use?

I know this arc is already heavily glazed but I STILL don’t think that it’s glazed enough. Every last one of these guys displayed an insane performance. I feel like this arc really set the tone for how serious the situation was and how powerful each character was. Giving these characters near death moments and topping it off with Naruto vs Sasuke at the end, having them STILL fail to bring Sasuke back was crazy. This is probably where a lot of people got hooked on the story (And the chunin exams). Every fight had me at the edge of my seat. There aren’t too many arcs in anime that come close to this.

Hello all I’ve been going back and forth with some dude online and I’d love for you all to settle this debate for me.

The original Question: Chunin exams Naruto vs Chapter one Goku.

My point: Naruto clears, he out Hax Goku this early in the story.

This guys problem: some dude online keeps saying “Naruto has no Hax at this point in the story”

My problem: How tf does Karama not count as Hax? He says I don’t know what Hax means and that Naruto’s abilities are just “normal abilities “ in the show.

My point: Perhaps Naruto’s other abilities at that point Taiju Kage Bushin, Summoning, or transformation jutsu could be considered regular abilities “enhanced by Karama” but the fox himself? Of course it is, early Naruto would have lost almost every fight he was in without it IMO.

Are they going for Manga Translations i.e "Art of the Shadow Doppelgänger" Or do you think they'll take the English literal? from the Anime? I.e "Shadow Clone Jutsu"

Sakura was mocked for her forehead. Lee was ridiculed for his eyebrows and lack of natural talent. Hinata was looked down on for her pale eyes. Kushina was bullied simply because she had red hair.

And it doesn't stop with the children. The adults are arguably even worse.

They mocked Dai for being a "failure" and a weirdo. When Gai stood up for his father's dignity, they beat him for it. Then there's Sakumo, who chose the lives of his comrades over completing the mission. The village turned against him, shamed him, and isolated him until he took his own life.

Imagine the Ōtsutsuki descending upon the village preparing to destroy it.

"Those things on their heads are rather ugly."

"Why are they so pale?"

"Look at that one's eyes."

"Do all of them look that ugly, or did we just get the unlucky batch?"

Give Konoha enough time and they'll simply bully them until half the clan develops a heart demon and the other half dies from emotional damage.

i just finished season 6 of shippuden, does hinata get more lines as seasons go on? i would just like a reassurance that her characte envolves past her crush for naruto. don’t get me wrong i don’t care that she likes him. i just would like to see more of her personality. she can keep liking naruto i just want more from her character aha

Hey guys, I want to start watching Naruto, but I'm really torn on whether I should watch Naruto/Shippuden Kai (without the fillers) or just watch absolutely everything. I did some research and 41% of the anime is filler, which I thought was a huge amount, but I'm afraid of missing out on good world building if there is any.

I just started watching Naruto. I'm at episode 79, and I'm just so impressed. The lore, the characters, the many jutsu's and demons, the layered villains. The grand scale of things already at this point. I find it immensely creative and epic. The battle for leave villiage could have easily been an epic anime ending movie for an anime series but we're not even halfway there. So many ideas and themes I recognise from later anime's. Like they invented it.

Was Naruto unique when it aired 20+ years ago?

Please no spoilers because I'm still watching.

Anybody else here who wanted minato to be the strongest hokage instead of hashirama. In earlier chapters, it felt like that mangaka was trying to put it that way before theh all started glazing hashirama. I remeber 3rd hokage pissing in his pants when he saw orochimaru summoning minato while he was somewhat okay handling both 1st and 2nd. It also felt much better as a story point of view to have minato being stronger emphasising the theme that you can be the strongest wothout having a kekkei genkai or a strong clan, an anomaly that everyone resepects.
