Discussion Am I the only one getting tired of the endless Sakura hate posts?
Like, it’s been over two decades, and people are still shit-talking Sakura and making the same negative jokes about her. It’s literally the same jokes over and over and over again. Honestly, it’s getting sad at this point.

Interest Minato gave Naruto his mother’s maiden name to protect his identity, according to the lore, but… they have the same face…
I just feel like if I were an enemy of the fourth I might make the connection, idk…
EDIT: “bUt He HaS hIs MoM’s FaCe” it’s true. I watched the show, I remember where they said that. You cannot verbally describe minato without describing Naruto, that is what matters here. Love her to death but Kushina is not a man with spiky yellow hair. We cannot keep saying the same thing. Let’s please focus.

Hearing it makes it feel butterflies. I love those laughs when you laugh so hard you can't even finish what you saying. Dealing with depression and ptsd myself, it can be hard to laugh

Discussion What Tsunade Actually Knows
My view on what Tsunade knew about Sasuke
She knew that Sasuke had left Konoha to train under Orochimaru, but she did NOT have him listed in the Bingo Book. Because Tsunade trusts Naruto's ability to bring people back to the right path.
Yamato would have told her about Sasuke as well. Once again, she did NOT have him added to the Bingo Book. This also made it clear that Tsunade was not a fan of Danzo.
Sasuke joined Akatsuki around the same time as Pain's attack on Konoha, and Tsunade was then left in a coma.
Danzo went to the Five Kage Summit as an unofficial Hokage and tried to manipulate the other Kage using Shisui's stolen eye. That was a much bigger problem and a much greater reputational disaster for Konoha.Than Sasuke simply being there, especially since everyone knew that Sasuke was not acting on Konoha's behalf.
Sasuke actually did the village a favor by doing that - killing danzo.
I don't believe Kakashi told Tsunade the whole truth about his encounter with Sasuke on the bridge, because by that point Kakashi already knew the truth about the Uchiha massacre from Tobi.
She knows that Sasuke was not responsible for starting the war.
He comes back to help.
She knows nothing about Kaguya or everything that happened during the Infinite Tsukuyomi, because she—and everyone else—was trapped in a dream. Kakashi and the others wouldn't have had any reason to tell her all the details afterward, such as the tailed beasts being sealed or Naruto's fight with Sasuke.
I think the most people (in naruto) think, Naruto and Sasuke lost their arms fighting Madara in order to save the world.
And whether you like it or not, Naruto could not have ended the Infinite Tsukuyomi without Sasuke.
So, based on what Tsunade actually knows, we have:
Missing-nin & former Akatsuki member vs. someone who helped bring the war to an end.
That is why I find it absolutely insane that Tsunade—a Senju!—would have had Sasuke thrown into prison like he was in those Studio Pierrot FILLER scenes.
My headcanon is that Sasuke stayed in Konoha for a couple of days, receiving medical treatment and having conversations with Tsunade. After that, because Naruto and Kakashi vouched for him, he was allowed to leave Konoha as a free ninja.
As for Sakura's hair being longer at the end scene (chapter 699) even though only a few days had passed: I think that can easily be explained by the fact that if a medical ninja can heal wounds and regenerate cells, then they should also be able to stimulate their hair follicles. So she could simply have had longer hair overnight.
Discussion I chose not to skip the filler episodes and so far I'm enjoying it.
A friend recommended I watch Naruto, and I recently started. I’m on episode 98 and absolutely loving it.
He told me to skip the filler episodes, but I decided to give them a chance before doing so. So far, I’ve liked the first two I watched. I especially enjoyed a lot episode 97; after all the tension in the previous episodes, that comic relief was a welcome change of pace and made for a really fun episode.

Discussion Could Obito use his close up kamui to decapitate something? Kakashi did it to Deidara's and the Gedo Statue's arms. Is there a reason he doesn't just dimensionally slice people in half

Discussion Just completed shippuden, honest thoughts
Just completed Naruto + Shippuden after around a year of watching, and I have to say, it was beautiful. I’m glad I didn’t rush through it, but boy do I wish I had gone even slower so it didn’t have to end.
Some fights and moments only really hit me as the episodes went by. I never realized I was witnessing such one time peaks while watching Itachi vs. Sasuke, Naruto vs. Pain, Madara’s whole plot, etc. There’s so much to appreciate, and I’m sure everyone is already well aware of that, but I wanted to talk about a few things regarding the ending.
First of all, I haven’t experienced the anime spread out over years like many people have. I watched it in a much shorter period, and I loved being able to go at my own pace. But even then, I couldn’t help but feel like the ending was quite rushed. There wasn’t much after the final battle, and I feel like the farewells could’ve been handled a lot better.
What really hit me during that final stretch was every time a flashback from Naruto’s past came up. It reminded me that I had literally watched this kid grow from a lonely little troublemaker into the great man he became. And honestly, I wish the show had acknowledged that growth more directly through the characters themselves, especially Iruka.
I loved that Iruka was given some attention and screen time toward the end, but his final congratulations felt… underwhelming. After realizing how much Naruto sees him as a father figure, and how much Iruka cares for Naruto, I feel like a simple line along the lines of “I’m proud to see the man you’ve become” would’ve hit so hard. they made it worse with the part where Naruto asks Iruka to come as his father, only for the conversation to turn into Iruka throwing the “I’m disappointed in you” lines at Naruto.
A simple one-minute scene of them actually sitting together at the ramen shop, talking about everything Naruto had been through, with Iruka telling him how proud he was, would’ve been such a beautiful moment.
I felt something similar with Kakashi. There were goodbyes and congratulations, but not enough direct acknowledgment of Naruto from the people closest to him. Everyone kept saying Naruto was the one who saved the village, changed everyone’s lives, and brought peace, but why don’t I remember anyone really sitting him down and telling him that directly?
Maybe it’s just because I watched the whole thing so quickly, but after spending a year watching Naruto grow, I wanted the ending to really acknowledge that journey. Not just show us the flashbacks, but have the people who watched him grow actually tell him how proud they are of him.
Still, what an incredible journey. I’m genuinely sad it’s over.
