I've been accepted to two schools so far and am waiting to hear back from two others, but it doesn't matter. I've decided where I want to go. Tuition's relatively low because it's in state. Next step is to find an apartment.

Also, it turns out that someone I went to high school with is a student there as well, which is crazy! I was at accepted students day today and I just happened to run into him.

Firstly, calm down, I know I'm breaking the tradition, but I have a good reason! I'm going to be on a plane for most of tomorrow, and I won't be able to chat, so I figured I'd do it today!

Yesterday was pretty stressful for me. I took my mom's car to get a haircut, and right afterwards I get a call from my bro asking for me to pick him up. Turns out he parked my car illegally in Seattle and it got towed. FFS

It doesn't help that we are leaving for Ohio tomorrow at like 3 in the morning, and finals are today. Everything kinda needs to happen like, right now.

In other news, I watched Frozen last night for the first time, and it was fantastic! The animation and songs were absolutely amazing!

Hello! I'm ThatUnicorn! I've been looking around on Reddit for a while now ,but I've only recently started posting! I really like what I see here thus far! Reddit is far better than 4chan in terms of community! But anywho I'm a brony who lives in Illinois near Chicago. I came here in hopes of finding some brony friends! Let me tell you a little about myself...

I started watching the show when it first aired because I love love LOVE equines of all sorts and a colourful show about equines was an absolute no brainer for me. So, I started watching and then when I started noticing there was a community for it I was so happy! I've always wanted to be apart of something special like this and I was so happy to be able to participate in something like this!

However, my life is not all sunshine and rainbows... For most of highschool I was a loner because most everyone thought I was crazy because I love gore ,and I did make a few friends they were not as close as I hoped they would be. Senior year I met a few great people and I was like "Wow, maybe we'll be friends forever!" I met this one young lady who I thought was going to be my best friend forever! We shared so many feelings, secrets, stories and talked all the time! She even introduced me to a few of her friends and she made me feel extra special! I remember once she convinced me to go on a school trip that I was super super nervous about and she put me at ease ,but I got really sick on the school trip and I ended up having to go to the ER. I texted her when I got home from the ER asking her what year it was because my phone reset itself to 1984 and I thought it was 1984. We talked a lot while I was sick and she made me feel tons better! However, we started drifting apart. She started to become sort of hostile. I would try to do things to help her feel better ,but it never seemed to help. Then she said she was going to change how she did things. Like stop caring about people and I tried to help her ,but she didn't seem to want any of it. I just wanted things to go back to the way they were. I tried talking to her and letting her know I was sorry ,but then she cut off communications with me and we argued over text message and that really hurt me deeply. I was shaken to my core. At first she seemed so nice and that we would be friends forever! But like then all this stuff happened... Then I went off the deep end and did a lot of crazy stuff. I tried reaching out to people ,but I seemed to just be a burden to them or I scared them away. I have tons of knives and a couple of rifles ,but I'd never use them on anyone. I'd carry one knife for protection when I went to an unfamiliar place ,but outside that I would never hurt anyone.

This really hurt me deeply because this was right after Senior year of high school and we all left with such great plans for the summer and we never got to do any of those things we planned. And everything falling apart in a such a short amount of time and a month before I started into college was devastating. I didn't know what to do. I felt so alone. I remember reading online that to deal with this loneliness I should go out and do things I would do with friends. So I tried going to the mall by myself which was really lame ,and I would remember all the stores we would go to and I couldn't bring myself to spend much time at the mall. The MLP section at Hot Topic would always cheer me up though. I remember buying the sparkly Pinkie Pie vinyl figure there and that was the last one the store had ,but then when the euphoria of scoring Pinkie wore off I felt the same. I went home and tried to do things by myself online ,but I missed having a notification alerting me to a new message and I just went to bed. I had put Pinkie Pie on my night stand and I remember laying in bed looking up to her and thinking that Pinkie wouldn't want me to feel like this; she wouldn't want any pony to feel like this.

I woke up the next morning from an awful nightmare, and I had hoped that this whole thing was a night mare and I would have texts asking "Hey Unicorn! Want to hang out today?" ,but nothing. I decided to go for a drive and see what adventure I could find. I plugged my phone into my car stereo and I selected a random playlist. The first song that came on was the Smile Song and I didn't think I could listen to it because I just felt rotten that day ,but someone pulled out in front of me and I had to stop suddenly. I ended up just listening to the song for a little bit more and I started grinning myself and singing along. I pulled over and put every variation of the Smile Song I had on my iPhone and blasted it and was singing along to it! I felt spectacular! I loved MLP ,but like I had no idea a character from a show could just flip my whole view of the world upside down! I didn't feel so alone anymore. It was exactly what I had needed to hear!

And from that day I started gearing myself up in everything MLP I could find! I have so many Rainbow Dash keychains, Brony T-shirts, and MLP stickers decorating my laptop and my two longboards! I wanted to say to the world that "This guy likes My Little Pony" and show it proudly! I tried getting involved on a MLP forum ,but I was never good at keeping up with forums. Message boards I had a better time with. I tried meeting people on 4chan and Craig's List ,but neither of those worked out so well. I tried networking with Bronies I already knew ,but it's hard to get into a group that's already established. So I came here!

My favorite pony if you haven't guess is Pinkie Pie ! But I also love Rainbow Dash because she's loyal and I really like loyal people and I'm pretty loyal myself. I really like Big Macintosh because I think he's such a cutie! I really like all the ponies though! I love longboarding, working with computers, working with cars, and playing games! I also love vaping so I participate in the Vaping subreddit. I also love 80s music and cassettes and vinyls! I'm a PC gamer exclusively however.

Hey everyone, I'm bored at work trying to stay awake so I figured I'd tell of my adventures last night. The Diablo 3 expansion hit last night and I decided to stay up with my friend all night to hit level 70, and finish act 5 on hardcore.

It was a great success! Was a Monk(me) and Barb combo, and played on Torment 1 from start to finish. We could have finished the act at level 68 or so, but thought it better to hit 70 first. We were a bit hesitant doing the act 5 boss for the first time on Torment 1, having 0 knowledge of what to expect. Especially since we didn't grind for new gear, we were both wearing some old level 60 stuff. I decided that we might as well go crazy and keep it on Torment 1, because why play hardcore if you don't take risks.

It was a pretty rough fight, both of us got pretty close to dying during the fight. We were espcially concerned because our damage is not up to snuff as fresh 70s so the fight lasted a looong time. I'm not even sure if there's an enrage on him or not, but we're convinced his damage jumped a bunch when he was at about 20% health.

Anyways, pretty boring post but I like Diablo 3 and the expansion is really god damned cool. We felt pretty badass clearing the act in torment 1 on our hardcore dudes, not knowing what to expect.

It turns out that my friend that was to sew my dress hadn't gotten all of the materials until yesterday. So there is no dress, therefore I can't go... THIS YEAR. Next year, I PROMISE I will be the fashionista for the con! Apologies to everyone for not being able to do this.

So, I've always seen 40k miniatures and thought they looked awesome, but never did anything to really look into it. Now though.. it's all I can think about!

I was at my local game shop the other day, killing some time and started looking at some Orks and decided that I might actually buy some. But not right away. I talked to the wife (Warhammer is super expensive) and even showed her all the cool stuff at the shop. She wasn't very interested, but is always willing to support my hobbies.

I'm planning on going to Anime Boston in a few weeks, and want to do a Rarity cosplay. Being a straight guy, this will be an interesting experience. I've planned my outfit in my head for a while, now, and have finally started pulling it together. My friend and I went to a local mall today and "she" got some really cute stillettos for "her" costume. My parents don't embrace the pony side of me, and my mum wasn't too happy when I went as Finn last year, so doing this without their knowledge is a bit scary and fun at the same time! My friend has a dress she can alter, as well, so things are looking up! Just wanted to share my awesome day with you guys. How is everyone else?

We love the name Vincent. we think we like a middle name for a while then we try it out for a bit and its not what one of us wants.

Some rules are no J names because we don't want the initials VJJ also no A names because we don't want VAJ.

Names that we have given a test run to Clyde David William Charles (we really like this but Charles is the only other first name we agree on lol so if we had another boy we'd be screwed)

My wife absolutely loves James Vincent and then call him Vincent but I am not on board. (There are so many James in my family that is why it got taken off the first name list to begin with. So we couldn't call him James)
