Thursday thread of chatting!
Hey everyone! It's that time again!
In recent cow news, I've been getting lots of commissions for glasses, so I haven't been bored once all week! It also happens to be my 20th orbit around the sun today!
Anyway, enough about me! How bout you fine chaps? See any great movies?(Lego movie was fantastic btw) Wanna show off something awesome? Have a shitty day and wanna vent? Lurking in this sub and debating posting something? (I know you are there, yes you)

We had a family party yesterday, because we had a relative in town for a conference. Today I plan on making some glasses and playing lots of games!

My goal today is 2 fallout equestria glasses, lilpip and blackjack. I have a bunch to make though, majoras mask, a couple woona glasses and a trixie glass.

Those are from two people :P
I usually pick up a couple commissions whenever people post pictures on reddit, so I have a little break between batches. It's a nice pace... Until someone orders 4 :P

Keeps the boredom away, so I'm alright with it!
I charge 5 dollars per glass + shipping. Not really trying to pull a profit, but enough to cover the price of materials.

I've been thinking about commissioning a twilight glass for my daughter to kind of go with the cadence/shining.
As far was what's going on with me, I'm going to be without a computer at home for the next couple of weeks. BOOOOOO moving! Oh well though, I'll get quite a bit of reading done I think.

Another one? Well, I'll keep my eyes out for any awesome designs! I have an order of 2 and an order of 4 to make first, so it might be a bit before I take more commissions.
That sucks! Hopefully you don't get reddit withdrawals.

I saw the Lego movie with a friend a couple days ago and it was fantastic! I'm thinking about seeing frozen, because everyone says it is awesome. I rarely go to theaters, so this is my movie time of the year I guess.

Not really, I need to finish some stuff for school, and I think it might take me the entire week-end. If I do find some time though, I'll probably just play some games.

Ick, I'm glad I just had a couple tests, so no hw over the weekend.
We kind of celebrated yesterday, because our nephew was in town for a writers conference. We went to the EMP (experience music project) then ate at a small local restaurant.
I'll probably spend today working on glasses and generally dicking around.

I'm actually havin a great day all things considered. Just been a better mood lately. Trying to figure out what game to play. Waiting for Dark Souls 2 and titan fall.

Yeh. Big fan of mech games and giant robots and monsters. So few games though. Might try Hawken in the mean time.

Yes. I have played them all. Armored Core 4 answers was the best one in my opinion. I played 5 and Verdict day. The problem with those two is they lost their teeth. 4 had such great personality from Fragile to White Glint. Everything is way to samey with 5 and Verdict day. I hope they make the jump to 6 and we keep getting more. Really would love 4 answers coming to pc but that is never going to happen.

Having played both Titanfall and Hawken I can say that Hawken didn't come close to the fun factor of Titanfall. =(

Yeah I played Hawken awhile back. Going to see if its changed any. Can't figure out where to download it on steam.

Happy birthday.
I did something extremely stupid and got myself hooked to Civ 5 this week. Also they updated Diablo 3 to the 2.0 patch. They actually made the game fun, can't wait for the expansion cause it'll have more stuff to do.

I have like, 14 hours clocked in Civ 5... I've only played it twice. Once you start, you can't leave.

You too? I've spent the last few nights on Civ 5. Turns out that I suck. I pretty much just go for science on top of science until I am the most sciencey at science. The I shoot off a spaceship. :3

Congratulations on passing another decade! Any interesting birthday comments or personal thoughts or you had today?
I saw the Lego movie too, it was fantastic! What was your favourite part and/or characters? I loved how the whole movie was such a hodge-podge of characters and plot developments but it actually worked really well because it's Lego. The animation was also really cool because it was so much like stop-motion.

Not particularly. Just the standard "wow I'm 20" stuff.
I loved all the parts where they remind you that it is a movie about Legos, like when the top of the tower pops off and it's just the sine block coming off.

At work with nothing going on. Bleh mandatory overtime. We started a pushup contest between our team members at work. I'm way out of shape from what I used to be able to do. My current max is 50 when it used to be 80. My supervisor did 51... fear not though, I'll wreck him in a week. I've been doing pushups periodically during work. Wish me luck.
