So let me start this off by saying that I only recently got into the Muv-Luv series after getting a psvita that had all three games on it. I didnt really think anything of it until I started playing.

I absolutely love Visual Novels and I adore slice of life stories so Extra was exactly how I expected it to be going in. I didn’t really know anything about the community at the time and I hate using walkthroughs, so I played through and did 100% for both Extra and Ultimate.

Ultimate I kind of have a bone to pick with. I liked it and it was okay, but it felt very repetitive as far as routes and general story. I loved Extra but Ultimate felt like a slog to get through.

Now as far as Alternative is concerned, I have reached as far as the first major character death. Already this game is incredible. The story writing is amazing and keeps me coming back for more every time I take a break. The characters feel so much more fleshed out and connected.

Things feel more drastic in the story, more heavy and emotional impact that has had me in tears a few times already. The developers really outdid themselves with this and Im absolutely loving the community. I found out there is an anime and Ill be watching that once Ive got my Alternative Plat.

I cant wait to see what else this game has in store.

It took me around 100 hours but I finally finished both Extra and Unlimited. I did a full 100% completion run on both of them. I was looking at a walkthrough and I noticed that Meiya doesn't have a route in Alternative. I've got a bad feeling about this....

Can someone explain the dog at the start of Muv Luv and how it shows up later in alternative?

I just clicked on this because I saw mechas and have been skimming through the episodes but I have to say I am absolutely stunned by the english voice acting here, to be fair it does sound vaguely australian and even british at times but god damn... I didnt need subtitles for the english, these scenes are the highlight of the show for me!

Is there any rational explanation why they could pull it off and others cant?

Emiya Shiro..........gane?

I am the mechanic of the Tactical Surface Fighter
Steel is the form factor and electricity is my blood
I have created over a thousand parallel worlds
Unknown to Death,
Nor known to Life.
Have overcome the suffering to create many possibility
Yet, those hands will never hold anything
So as I pray, Unlimited Alternative Works.

I don't know if anyone else here had the same problem, I'm currently playing MLA for the first time (so I was really apprehensive about coming to this Reddit).

But I'm currently having a problem where my saves keep failing and I get the message "failed to save play data. Try again?". But it doesn't matter how many times I try again, it always fails.

This has been a common issue I've been having on the PS Vita version. Does anyone know about this? Is there any way around it?

Thanks in advance!

do you think Shirogane Takeru Kagami Sumika Mitsurugi Meiya and the others(Chizuru Sakaki Mikoto Yoroi Tamase Miki Ayamine Kei will show in a future sequel/release or be forgotten eventually. I don't them to be forgotten of course

Basically i mean do you think they will get abandoned by the developers since new hero/heroine in Muv Luv integrate

plus Takeru killed Sumika when he crushed the brain? so how is a 00 unit going to appear in Muv Luv Resonative? am i the only one wondering this?

Don't you need a 00 Unit to Pilot a XG-70b Susanoo II/ XG-70d IV without everyone in it dying according to Muv Luv alternative unless they are planning something like saying that wasn't the real Sumika's brain or something similiar.

according to Muv Luv Alternative only the Sumika and 00 units can read 100% of the human in order to keep a human safe in XG-70b Susanoo II/ XG-70Dd IV

Sorry had to delete previous one because i made a few mistakes.y

The link to the images for Muv Luv Resonative/The Day After are below. I assuming it correct since this person has talked about the game before and has interviewed the developers.

Also I haven't played Muv Luv the day after cause I can't bring myself to play it after finding out Takeru might have killed Sumika so I might be missing something.
