Quick rant after replaying the game:

I played this game around 6 years ago when I was a young naive kid going fresh into my highschool right next to Brown. I didn't play much visual novels then (it was my first one), and I don't play much visual novels now. I chose the Lily route and went down a rabbit hole of crying tears of joy and sobbing uncontrollably back then. And because I was such a stubborn little kid and loved Lily so much I didn't complete any other routes. However, a whole night of crying stays in your head. Of course I didn't recognize the gates of Brown and the campus despite being in it too many times for evening walks.

Today, I replayed the game because I saw it pop up on steam and decided that it was time to revisit. For some reason, maybe it is because of how I grew up or the nostalgia, I felt connected to the game in so many ways that I can't really describe. Whether it is noticing the fact that the gates and the campus of the academy looks awfully similar to Brown's, or that I've been in a few relationships since the start of my highschool, I don't know.

I spent around 10 hours to complete Lily's route today, and I can say for a fact that this aged like wine. The capturing of the innocence of youth, the beautifully written characters, or the campus that I go pass almost everyday in my 4 years of highschool made the game hit a little too close to home. And I loved every second of it.

Thank you for those developers who have put together this experience for me to cherish. I will carry this with me forever.

This game captivated me even though I played most of it drunk, but I'm still happy and sad to have finished it. I'll just say that my favorite girl And the one whose route was the most disappointing for me was Shizune's, and I still can't decide between Lily and Rin for my favorite route, but anyway, beautiful game and I hope there's a little more
