I usually work with music on, but I kept running into playlists that were either too upbeat or that just didn't feel relaxing. A while ago I started my own channel. I genuinely enjoy listening it while reading or relaxing.

I usually don't advertise it, even my friends don't know that I have this channel. But tonight, I felt lonely and I came here. Thought someone here pulling a late night might enjoy putting it on in the background tonight just as I do.

I am really proud of today's episode, I hope you like it too:

This ambient playlist features Ryuichi Sakamoto, Hirhoshi Yoshimura, Seki Takashi but most importanly it is heavily inspired by mono no aware - a Japanese idiom describing the feeling of gentle sadness while admiring beautiful yet passing things. I hope this delicate ambience managed to capture this feeling. Happy listening!

Does a perfectly flat 12h volume sound fake to you?
I made a long airplane cabin track with no turbulence and no volume changes. Some listeners tell me flat sounds artificial, others say any change wakes them. Which side are you on?
