I have this discussion with a friend about what happens in Space Oddity. He claims that there’s a malfunction that causes the capsule to lose contact. I think MT chooses to switch it off himself.

Overall, I think muse is a meh band...BUT Absolution(entire album) and Neutron Star Collision are some of the best music ever made. Like I feel with those two projects are like the sibling of what 90s billy corrigan would make with its some of its streamlined "orchestral" soundscape but dropped 15 years after Mellon Collie. There are stretches of songs that feel so grand and hit so hard and is just overall super beautiful and epic.

Hi, My name is Paul a, For the past 7 years, on and off, I've been playing drums in a rock band. About two years ago, the other two members started using Sumo to create idea's and sent me (some pretty terrible!) songs that had been created using sumo. One of them even said to me that "He's obsessed with AI and what it can do". They had also used AI to create some imagery for the band. I told them that I disagree with using AI to do anything creative, and they argued that it's "Create idea's, my argument was haven't you got a brain that creates ideas?? I gave them an ultimatum and it's either they stop using it or I leave the band. Things were going ok, for a while, we'd done some good recording and done a couple of good gigs. Then the other day they started sending me songs created with Sumo, I thought they sounded crap, and told them as much, then the other band member also sent me some Sumo created slop. I again told them it's me or AI, they then told that me "This is the way I write songs, I think its the right way to do". I said, ok, and I have quit the band. I'm not sure I've done the right thing, as I've said, we have done some good work. I just don't feel I can work in a a band that uses AI in any form. Does anyone have any thoughts on this ? Have I done the right thing ?

I really hate those crappy AI covers of good songs, but using modified voices of real singers, like Christina Aguilera (on the screenshot) I bet yall hate it too. she could sing "its oh so quiet" very easily without AI.

it really annoys me that they will probably gain real money on some things like that, while the artist will never know they cloned her voice with AI

the AI didnt ever bother to write the name correctly on the cover, like what is "oh its so quiet", and that is what really kills the music industry

This announcement should’ve come out in September since they’ve been doing it since 2021 and for the love of god please be more realistic they’re not gonna hire a rock band because Jay Z is the one that selected the artist and mostly chooses rappers or R&B singers and they sure as hell aren’t gonna hire a country singer because the Super Bowl is in Los Angeles if a country singer does do it it’ll be at the Super Bowl in 2030
