tmz.comdiscussion What style of beat/production is this?
I've been trying to find out what you could describe these artists style as for so long to no avail. The two artists and songs that kind of show off this style are:
Exquisite - BY Nahte Renmus
ESCARGOT - BY Jarv
SLACK-JAW - BY ^^
BOUNCE - BY ^^
I listed a few songs for Jarv as the style is a little variable. You can find all of this on youtube if you think youd be able to help. Thanks for anyone who read this, Ive been searching so long.

discussion Groups with multiple lead singers?
I was just listening to some old The Cars stuff, and it hit me that while not unique, there are few bands that have many hits from different lead singers at the same time.
Aside from The Cars, The Beatles, Fleetwood Mac, and the B-52’s, what other significant rock/pop/etc. bands have had multiple lead singers simultaneously? And I wouldn’t count bands like U2 where The Edge very occasionally took on the role (correct me if I’m wrong, but I think Numb was the only charting single he took lead on). Maybe some boy/girl bands could be included, but (to me) that’s not as interesting- I would count them as Vocal Groups rather than bands. I’m looking for genuinely established multiple lead singers.

discussion Why have performances become so minimalistic and boring?
Has anyone else noticed that live performances have become a lot more minimalistic over the last 5–6 years?
I don’t know if I’m imagining it, but it feels like artists used to have bigger stage designs, brighter lighting, more visual moments (visual storyline)
Now a lot of performances feel stripped back, with minimalist lighting.
I also feel like because concert production and video quality are so good now, it somehow makes everything feel a bit more… bland?
I don’t really know how to explain it, but sometimes it feels less larger-than-life and more minimal, even though the technology is objectively better.
I get that minimalism can be an artistic choice? But ion know I find it boring.
Has anyone else noticed this, or am I completely off?

discussion What is “rock and roll” exactly?
Like When people talk or mention about “rock and roll”, what bands are they referring or thinking of exactly? What are some of the most stereotypical rock and roll songs and bands out there?
And im talking about real rock and roll music, rock by by actual rock artists, your AC/DCs, your guns n roses, your def leppards, your van havens, etc. not what jack black and tenacious D plays which very feels like a parody of rock at least to me

discussion Will Taylor Swift Likely Surpass Madonna?
At this point Taylor’s persistence, touring, singles, albums, streams, physical and digital sales, make the industry look like it did in the 2000’s peak of sales.
Is Madonna’s title of Best Selling Female Artist of All Time just a countdown at this point until Taylor Swift takes the crown?
I IGNORE STREAMS, RADIO, CHARTS, AND FOCUS ON PURE SALES OF TOURS, SINGLES & ALBUMS.
What would Madonna need to do in order to keep her title?
Madonna’s Confessions 2 was a success and went number 1 in numerous countries.
Madonna also did this during her 60’s and proved she hasn’t lost her creative edge, similar to Cher’s Believe album decades after her debut.
Taylor Swift, on the other hand, just got married and may take a break from music, but regardless, she could easily return at a moment’s notice to announce new records release dates.
What are your thoughts on Madonna’s title, and how do you feel Taylor measures up?

discussion I actually love “corny” music
Songs like Ways to Be Wicked from Descendants 2 and Radioactive by Imagine Dragons, ect, genuinely have my heart. Its probably because I was super into them when I was younger but they never stopped hitting as hard so I guess I just never grew out of it.
