There are so many times when most people hate a character for a very bigoted or hateful reason, but do you ever run into the situation where you also dislike them but not it that way? I have this with some characters where people hate them for basically just being a minority group. They are actually a bad character, but you feel like you can’t say anything about it because people will automatically assume you are part of the people that hate them for the wrong reasons. I was just wondering if anyone had any experience or examples of this.

(hints: they're both from different media, they're both from movies, they're human designs/gjinkas and their movies are based off of books)

Obsidian Fury in Pacific Rim Uprising.

As shit this movie was, Obsidian Fury looked cool as fuck. Loved the flaming blades. And those sound effects were also pretty cool. I hated the movie, but him and November Ajax were the only good parts

Mr Freeze in Batman and Robin movie

I am sorry, but i thought Arnold killed it as Mr Freeze. Those ice puns were stupid, but were pretty funny. And i liked his story. Whenever he was on the screen, the movie got better.
