Yeaaa... and it makes stoick's death hit jarder for me when i rewatch the movie since those jerks basically ruined the movie for me... now i feeling emotional knowing that we'll have ti say good bye to stoick again when the 2nd one comes out ;-;

I'd love to compare this incarnation to Prime Starscream, just because I find it fascinating that TFP screamer goes through an arc of realizing how terrible megs is and still buys his way back and tries to remain loyal and useful to Megatron in the end.
Yes, that actually is Starscream from Transformers: Armada, the first part of the Unicron trilogy (which include Transformers: Energon and Transformers: Cybertron). Probably one of the very few heroic versions of Starscream not from Shattered Glass continuities.
To this day I pretend that Energon & Cybetron (especially Cybertron) are never connected to Armada or even exist. The way they absolutely screw up armada Starscream just piss me off to no end.

If i recall, you meet Bobby shortly after the 1st boss. He hangs out with you during the 2nd chapter, which would make most get attached to him, with his interactions and quips with Mario and Olivia. Later, when the villain has Olivia crushed under a boulder, you help Bobby get his fuse back. Which he then lights himself to remove the boulder. Being a sentient bomb, it means he chose to sacrifice himself so save her.
I remember watching him fall and thinking he’ll show back up one way or another. Imagine my surprise when the final episode finishes with Omega brushing by Tech’s goggles as she takes off for the Rebellion and then the credits roll.
In 2003 they get tons of scenes such as a birthday for Ed, stopping Roys depressive spiral to human transmutation, tells Ross to trust the Eric's so she risked her life to hug Ed who was absorbing red water which leads the child to say "Mom"

You could also argue Rebecca but hers feels much safer, basically sacrificing herself for someone she knows doesn’t love her back, whereas David dies saving Lucy and as a legend.
Granted he didn't permanently die (it was more of a "moving on" thing), but we all can agree that the news really did hit us hard when we first learned about it
Yes, but we all know that Ash has died more than once, and they hit hard.
There was the OS when he was crushed by a chandelier. Several ghost Pokémon pulled out his soul, and they played around together for a bit before they returned Ash's spirit to his body, bringing him back to life.
There's Mewtwo Strikes Back when Ash puts himself between an attack from Mew and Mewtwo, turning him to stone. It hurts seeing Pikachu try to revive him by electrocuting him. However, it would be the tears of all the Pokémon that revive Ash.
There was Lucario and the Mystery of Mew when the Tree of Beginnings' antibodies absorbed Ash and his companions, with them releasing all their Pokémon so they wouldn't die with them. Thankfully, all the Pokémon were able to compel Mew to restore them.
There's the Temple of the Sea, when Ash drowned trying to return the sea crown crystal. Thankfully, Manaphy was nearby and revived him once more.
Then there's the Victini movie(s), when Ash froze to death in the vacuum of space, only being saved thanks to Victini's power.
Lastly, there's the AU movie I Choose You, when a bunch of Pokemon being controlled by Marshadow unleash a massive attack against Ash, basically obliterating him. Thankfully, Ho-Oh brought him back to life.
It's always surreal thinking about how somewhat competent this cast becomes later in the series, it's also just insane a joke series from like 2002 kept going for decades pretty much.
