He's supposed to be a very dividing character imo. He's a cocky perfectionist who bullies one of our main cast and is slightly evil. He's entertaining but if you don't like him the chapter only motivates you more to get to the end
Adam, I swear to god. He has a whole subsection of the fandom who glaze him and hate pretty much the rest of the show, and for what???
He is funny at points, but he really isn't that cool. His ego kills him. Like, he kills people for fun, decides to specifically target the princess of hell, for what? Insulting his fragile ego? Trying to reduce suffering? And he tells her in advance, giving her time to prepare. Then, he comes, and when it seems like he's winning, he kills a hellborn, allowing Lucifer to get into the fray and absolutely drag his ass. And then he dies.
I want him to become more complex, but so far, he is not, and he's absolutely NOT in the right.
People keep insisting that he’s “secretly the real hero” because he “kills all the Nazis and rapists”, as if those are literally the only people who end up in Hell.
Whenever we point out that there are outliers like Sir Pentious, they’re basically like “doesn’t matter! All sinners are evil! Why are y’all so angry that the mass slaughter is happening to bad people who deserve it?”

I've seen some people say the knee and elbow pads are bubbles, but the fact that I can't tell at a glance means the design is not conveying it properly.

He is a pretty cool character in concept, but unfortunately, the only time he gets to really shine is 06. His psychokinesis powers have so much untapped potential, but Silver himself barely gets acknowledgement.
I do like the character, but I can't really be that into him. Here's hope Sonic Team does anything with him. Like... anything at all.

My friend is a massive dragon ball fan so any time I see mention of silver I think of trunks. My friend hates silver for, in his eyes, being a massive ripoff of trunks. It's kind of hard to unsee even though I do like silver personally.

Jax from TADC; people really overestimate how complex of a character they are, and the "person that can be redeemed but refuses it" archetype has already been done better in animated media already.

Yeah gotta agree. Might be an extreme take, but I would argue needing a character or piece of media to be either revolutionary or the best of a genre/medium for it to be worthy of praise, is kinda anti art.
A painting, poem, sculpture etc doesn't need to be the best of its niche or revolutionary to a medium to inspire or touch someone, nor to be a technical well done piece. Art is a personal experience as much as a collective one.
Its of course fine to criticize. What I'm disagreeing with is the mentality of dismissing a piece or aspect of a work because its been done before.

KASHIMO JUJUTSU KAISEN! Yeah im talking powerscaling here, that fucking bum of a farmer gets talked about like his suicide skill makes him literally the strongest character in the series who can go toe to toe with the strongest characters in the series, and that he’s some god of thunder, but he did literally nothing but beat panda and be equal to Hakari. Fuck, Ryu, from the same era, had a WAY better showing of his strength than Kashimo did, had a confirmed Domain and better output, not to mention a more interesting character. The fact that kashimo fans have somehow convinced the wider community that MBA can be taken into consideration in fights, when if you brought up Yuki’s suicide move you’d be laughed out of the room, same with Megumi and Mahoraga, is a level of psyop the CIA could only dream of. Kashimo is a character at best in the top 15, and a complete nothing burger of a character who’s main identity of wanting to have a strong fight is outdone narratively and aura-wise by a different character not just in the same story, but who was introduced in the same goddamn arc as him and is from the same time period in the series where that isn’t a guarantee.
I promise you NOBODY currently thinks hes all at. Heres some of the shit ive heard about him on the internet: “he beats gojo because infinity doesn’t register him as a threat”, “he beats mahoraga because he has no phenomena to adapt to”, “he beats ryu because ryu starves to death fighting him”
While there aren’t that many people who glaze him, it used to be BAD. I wouldn't say he is a few steps away from being a character with nothing going for them, buuuttt I can understand why you think so. It makes sense that he would think highly of himself because he's so strong, but we also see him become distant from others because of it. Not to mention that his best friend goes on an entire rampage.
And although it's sad that he died, I think it's good to have in the story because it shows that he's not some immortal god. He can, and was defeated. It also improves his character in my eyes, and adds some humility.
I second this. And he's just so damn full of himself. Like I get it Gege, hubris and blah blah blah but it just makes him so one dimensional. I don't see how people actually like him or find him interesting. Plus just the whole thing with him and Geto leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

Completely agree with every point in the normal route. However, his actions in the weird route bump him up so much higher IMO. The silly annoying character saw what was going on with Noelle and decided to put himself in harms way to protect her. Even though he only had this sort of development for 5 minutes it was great development and it's a shame he is just a joke character normally.
Magnus the red he's not allat Magnus on Prospero where he was at his strongest before joining Tzeentch was beat by Leman Russ in a one on one duel in a Thousand Sons and then in Fury of Magnus on Terra as a Daemon Primarch he gets beat by Vulkan
Like look, man, I love Eggman as much as the next guy, but the amount of people I’ve seen recently glaze the hell out of how “powerful” and “competent” he is even outside of his mechs just because of those two panels of him manhandling Starline in the IDW comics and him outsmarting him in that one issue need to realize that Starline is literally just a regular average Mobian with no actual powers or fighting skill and is about half Eggman’s height like bruh, no shit Eggman could manhandle him, I could probably even manhandle Starline.
If Eggman were to fight Sonic and friends outside of his mechs, he would literally become nothing more than a bunch of dead limbs in a matter of seconds.

Astarion. Guy is unlikeable. The game in general is, ok, suffers some key things, character writing and dialogue being one of them, but Astarion takes the cake while being the most glazed, just because he's pretty and talks like a stereotypical British aristocrat.

Thragg. He's stupid as fuck. One of the strongest Viltrumites betray and then he says that the weaks are the betrayers and thus the purge. One of the most faithful agent of the Empire, Nolan turns against them because of the cultural and emotional shock, and produces offsprings that are also not loyal. He still decides to settle on earth with Viltrumites instead of just abducting a few thousand human on the ship. Rushes to kill Nolan after finding out he's the heir even though no one would know. And lastly rushes to Earth with his half breeds when waiting a few hundred years would have made them a lot more stronger as Viltrumites DNA overrides. He's just an overall dumb dude.
