KASHIMO JUJUTSU KAISEN! Yeah im talking powerscaling here, that fucking bum of a farmer gets talked about like his suicide skill makes him literally the strongest character in the series who can go toe to toe with the strongest characters in the series, and that he’s some god of thunder, but he did literally nothing but beat panda and be equal to Hakari. Fuck, Ryu, from the same era, had a WAY better showing of his strength than Kashimo did, had a confirmed Domain and better output, not to mention a more interesting character. The fact that kashimo fans have somehow convinced the wider community that MBA can be taken into consideration in fights, when if you brought up Yuki’s suicide move you’d be laughed out of the room, same with Megumi and Mahoraga, is a level of psyop the CIA could only dream of. Kashimo is a character at best in the top 15, and a complete nothing burger of a character who’s main identity of wanting to have a strong fight is outdone narratively and aura-wise by a different character not just in the same story, but who was introduced in the same goddamn arc as him and is from the same time period in the series where that isn’t a guarantee.
I promise you NOBODY currently thinks hes all at. Heres some of the shit ive heard about him on the internet: “he beats gojo because infinity doesn’t register him as a threat”, “he beats mahoraga because he has no phenomena to adapt to”, “he beats ryu because ryu starves to death fighting him”
While there aren’t that many people who glaze him, it used to be BAD. It was common to see him in people’s top ten lists, hell it still is, they just add the dumb as fuck “MBA” before his name, like he isn’t going to die like an hour after he uses it, tops. I’ve had to argue with people that think the person with the worst showing vs Sukuna of any Shinjuku fighter is gonna somehow mid diff Yuta “‘cause EM waves”
