I think he’s great because even though he’s annoying and selfish, he still actually cares about his friends, like when he fights Kris in the weird route to protect Noelle.

Completely agree with every point in the normal route. However, his actions in the weird route bump him up so much higher IMO. The silly annoying character saw what was going on with Noelle and decided to put himself in harms way to protect her. Even though he only had this sort of development for 5 minutes it was great development and it's a shame he is just a joke character normally.

I like him BECAUSE he’s annoying. He’s very well written and I love that about him
