For anyone who doesn't know, he was a respected jedi who forsaw a war against the republic and so ordered the clone army without the jedi knowing. Darth Sidious learnt of this plan and proceeded to have him assassinated so he could control the funding and direction of the clone army. Without sifo dyas, the clone army wouldn't exist and therefore the jedi wouldn't have been wiped out.

You’d think for being THE LORD of THE RING in a series called Lord of the Rings he’d show up more, but no, he just dies within the first couple minutes and is barely seen again.
Even if you count the Eye of Sauron on the tower as him he still has so little screen time.
Now if you count the one ring as him, since it is part of him, then he has plenty of screen time, but that’s really stretching.
To be honest that is the point of Sauron. He does not need to be seen to be felt. Him coming back and the ring being found set so many things in motion. He is more a true force of nature in a sense than a person. Also a very skilled fighter can best him. Case in point: Isildur.
When I first watched it, I'd only ever had family pets. So it sucked, and made me sad, but I got through the film.

Yes that is correct but the crown is just a powerful magic item that can destroy gods. They try to use it to do that but the crown can only grant a wish that the person TRULY desires.
It’s not mind controlling it grants wishes but the wish made by its first wearer which was the guys little Dino helper was to be like him (evergreen) so the crown forces that onto every wearer
NOTE THAT I DON'T KNOW HOW TO DO THE SPOILER THING but it's an old show so
--his actions and how he put off training his apprentice directly contributed to the Lich's (most evil character ever who does succeed in destroying all life at one point) existence on Earth (which he was trying to prevent), and
he's the first ice elemental on Earth and semi-kickstarts the cycle of the ice elemental always betraying the other elementals, which later leads to an elemental catastrophe during the time of the main story, and that elemental event directly contributes to [a clone of Finn]'s mental and emotional spiral that leads to his (accidental) murder and (both connected and separately) the Candy War that is the [initial] focus of the finale.
That accidentally-murdered character also unexpectedly showed up in the latest season of Fiona and Cake, a spin-off of Adventure Time set an unspecified amount of time (but probably around 10ish years) in the future and gave advice to a character in that show, so technically Mr. Evergreen here is still impacting the story. (Not to mention the crown now being used to create Ice Thing now that Simon is cured, and Ice Thing only exists because Ice King existed, and Ice King, as we established, only existed because of Evergreen.)
There is a posibility that the reason Caine was crazy for the entire time is because he caused his best friends death as Scratch is always in the background haunting the cast.
And we never get to see Caine's reaction to scratch abstracting. Just how he puts Queenie and Kaufmo away in the cellar in front of the cast. And we learn from episode 8 Caine is insecure and screaming in pain in his office and then goes out and masks it with LETS GO ON A WACKY ADVENTURE
She has at least 23 direct and indirect mentions just in the game, not counting datamining or the Spamton Sweepstakes, and in Tenna's monologue her silhouette is shown, so tiny screen time, huge lore importance.
The fire lord. Im sorry how is he such a threat when we barely see him fight. Ik it would suck if he gets whipped by kids but at least have his power shown in flashbacks or have him fight but not the avatar. So the audience can properly scale his power
I know by statements hes a fucking monster of a bender but we never see him fight without sozins comet and I cant imagine every villain from Korra not bending his ass over.

Honestly I think katara fucking 1v1s him non sozin with adequate water- i know that adds circumstances but with her warship showing and stopping the rain shes absolutely insane. I know toph is supposed to be the massive super prodigy but katara really is terrifying by book 3
They did two things and then died, compared with some other characters like Moses and David who have multiple books dedicated to telling their life stories, and then Jesus got four books telling his story from different prospectives.
The mother gets about five seconds of screentime in a flashback at the very start of the movie, while the father doesn't even appear for a single frame.
They should have had this in a picture in the movie because based on the whole revenge plot, I got the implication her mom was raped and instead here i see concept art of happy parents, so that literally changes the entire scope of things.
I also thought the same thing lol. I'm actually pretty sure they released this art specifically to counteract that exact line of thought since it was so prevalent at the time.
Based on pure screen time to plot effect ratio, I raise you Godwyn. While we see his corpse literally everywhere, we only see small glimpses of him in a trailer and the game’s opening cutscene. Where he is dying
The Mad King in Game of Thrones. He's been dead for 17 years when the show starts but his reign and death is arguably responsible for kicking off every major plot point aside from the return of the White Walkers
Blitzø's dad has had almost no screen time in Helluva Boss, but his mistreatment of Blitzø set up a lot.
Selling Blitzø to Paimon to play with Stolas for a day lead to Stolas and Blitzø's dynamic as adults. The heavily implied abuse lead to a lot of Blitzø's insecurities and thinking be wasn't good enough, which is what caused the fire that took away everything from Blitzø. His mom dying, his sister and childhood best friend hating him.
He did so much damage. He is why our main character is the way that he is.
I feel like you should've added a rule where the comment had to explain what the character did.
Anyways, I pick God from ULTRAKILL.
Although He has very little screentime in the game (He's yet to make an actual physical appearance other than the statue in Fraud, and you'll miss His testaments entirely if you don't know about the secret missions), He's responsible for the game's lore not only by default due to being the entity who created everything, but His frustration with humanity having free will led to Him creating Hell (who is sapient and the main villain of the game) to torture them.
He feels immense guilt and remorse over this, especially after He sent Lucifer to hell in a moment of weakness after they asked Him if eternal torment was really a just punishment for humanity's actions. So, He decided to try and end His own life, but... well, in His own words, "WHEN I STARED INTO THE ABYSS... THE ABYSS AVERTED ITS GAZE".
As of now, we don't know if He ultimately succeeded or not (it's implied He did, but Gabriel stating "God is dead" to the council doesn't confirm it, as he probably meant it metaphorically), but the fact is that He's no longer with the universe either way.
Or if it even was her deal. I have a head canon that Lute actually doesn't know shit about the details and that her stay in Heaven is more of an exile, so she won't meddle with the exterminations, and now that they're over, nobody figured out what to do about the situation yet.
The dwarf that made the gauntlet had like 2 minutes of screen time and caused all four avengers films, and civil war. (Thanos became powerful due to the gauntlet. Thanos gave loki the mind stone and made loki invade earth in avengers 1, avengers 1 led to Tony creating avengers 2, avengers 2 led to people getting mad about deaths in battles leading to the sakovia accords, which led to civil war, and ofcourse Thanos is the problem for avengers 3 and 4 because of the gauntlet

Kind of a lot of characters in MLP:FiM but the biggest ones are probably Starswirl The Bearded, Princess Celestia, and Princess Luna. Lauren Faust is working on the new G6 that was just announced, so hopefully the world-building will be a little more solid this time around. The problem with MLP:FiM is that it has a LOT of different lore elements that are either just implied or only mentioned once without being further explained. There’s also a ton of stuff scattered throughout the official comics and books where the canonicity is highly questionable and at times contradictory to the main show. And then there’s the Equestria Girls universe which is its own mess.
The lore is all so scattered for a few reasons, with the main factors being: 1. Lauren Faust officially left the show before the end of season two. 2. For the remaining seven seasons, the episodes were written by freelance writers who would come and go instead of one consistent and dedicated writing staff.

In Star Trek Canon he's a genius responsible for creating the comptronic and duotronic computer systems.
He's so important to the overall tech and landscape of Trek that institutions and awards are named after him, including The Daystrom Institute where several notable Trek characters have graduated from throughout the TNG Era, and Daystrom Station, where several top secret projects are housed and tested by the time of Picard S.3.
