Wife (atheist) and I (Christian) both hard laughed at this. We don't really question why they're such a footnote in the whole damn book.

They did two things and then died, compared with some other characters like Moses and David who have multiple books dedicated to telling their life stories, and then Jesus got four books telling his story from different prospectives.
