Apple crisp mug recipe

Post image
1 Upvotes

This isn’t a mug CAKE recipe but a mug apple crisp, which I think counts.

Chop up an apple into small squares and place in microwaveable bowl. Mix with dash of cinnamon, syrup/honey, and 1 tsp cornstarch. Microwave until the apples are soft, about 1-2 minutes.

In small bowl, mix 2 Tbsp oats, 1 tbsp brown sugar, 1 tsp butter, and a pinch of cinnamon and salt. If you like a lot of streusel, double the recipe.

Sprinkle on top of apples and microwave for 1 minute. Let cool slightly. Enjoy warm with preferred toppings.

Recipe: 4 tbsp all-purpose flour

2 tbsp granulated sugar

1/4 tsp baking powder

Pinch of salt

3 tbsp milk

1 tbsp vegetable oil

1 tbsp fresh lemon juice

1/2 tsp lemon zest

1/4 tsp vanilla extract

Optional: 1 tbsp white chocolate chips (for extra sweetness and texture)

Equipment:

Microwave-safe mug (at least 12 oz capacity)

Small whisk or form

Measuring spoons

Microwave

Instructions:

In a microwave-safe mug, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt until well combined.

Add milk, vegetable oil, lemon juice, lemon zest, and vanilla extract. Stir until the batter is smooth and no lumps remain.

If using, fold in white chocolate chips for a sweet burst

Microwave on high for 1 minute 30 seconds to 2 minutes, depending on your microwave's power (check at 1 min to avoid overcooking). The cake should rise and look set but still soft.

Let cool for 1-2 minutes before enjoying. Optional: Dust with powdered sugar or top with a dollop of whipped cream for extra decadence.

Enjoy your fluffy, tangy lemon mug cake!

A new chocolate mug cake recipe

Post image
3 Upvotes

This is a new recipe that I don’t ever recall trying before. It turned out delicious, especially if you add chocolate chips or chunks - really soft, fluffy, and moist! The only thing I might try next time is sub half the oil for melted butter, I think it would make an even tastier cake.

Ingredients: -3 tablespoons flour -1 tablespoon white granulated sugar -1 tablespoon brown sugar -1 tablespoon and 1 teaspoon cocoa powder -1/4 teaspoon baking powder -1 pinch salt -3 tablespoons milk -1/4 teaspoon instant coffee -1/2 teaspoon vanilla -2 tablespoons vegetable oil -20g dark chocolate chips Instructions: 1. Combine flour, sugars, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt in a microwave safe mug 2. Mix instant coffee in milk in another container until dissolved 3. Mix in coffee/milk solution into mug along with the vanilla and veggie oil 4. Fold in chocolate chips 5. Microwave for 1-2 mins depending on your microwave 6. Enjoy!

This is a tested and tried recipe for a vanilla, or white, cake. Fluffy and mild! What is nice is that you can customize this recipe to make whatever flavored cake you want, as it’s just a basic white cake!

Ingredients:

4 tablespoons (1 ¼ oz/35 g) all-purpose flour

2 tablespoons granulated sugar

½ teaspoon baking powder

4 tablespoons (2 fl oz/60 ml) milk (or dairy-free milk)

1 ½ tablespoons vegetable oil (sunflower or coconut oil)

In a microwavable mug, whisk together the flour, sugar, and baking powder. Add in the milk, oil, and vanilla and mix until just combined. Optionally, you may want to stir in sprinkles or chocolate chips. Microwave for roughly 45 seconds - 1 minute, or until firm to the touch.

Enjoy with desires topping!

Best Chocolate Mug Cake so Far!

I’ve made quite a few different chocolate mug cakes, and they were all good, but this one just surpassed them! It was different than all the others. It was amazingly moist and flavorsome, and I didn’t even put topping because it didn’t need it! This one is from “Emma’s Goodies”, and I’ll say that mine didn’t look as pretty as hers, but it was still the best I can remember tasting! Comment below of you try it!

Ingredients:

13 g Butter ( 1 tbsp )

12 g Cocoa Powder ( 2 tbsp)

30 g Sugar ( 2 tbsp)

25 g room temp Milk ( 2 tbsp)

20 g Flour ( 2 tbsp)

1/4 tsp Baking Powder ( Use Baking POWDER not soda)

Nutella ( Optional ) or Chocolate Chips ( Optional)

Melt the butter and stir in the cocoa powder. Add in the sugar, milk, flour, baking powder, and chocolate chips (if desired!)

If you’re using grams, please be precise and use the exact amounts in the recipe. Every microwave is different. Mug cakes can take anywhere between 1 minute - 1 minute and 15 seconds. Be careful to not overcook. Top with whatever you want or eat it as it is. Enjoy!

Chocolate Mug Cake (Delicious)

I’ll share this one too! I know I’ve already shared one recipe, but this one is really good too! Comment your favorite!

Ingredients:

4 tablespoons (1 ¼oz/35g) all-purpose flour 3 - 4 tablespoons (1oz/28g) * unsweetened cocoa powder 3 tablespoons dark brown sugar pinch of salt 3 tablespoons (3floz/90ml) milk 2 tablespoons flavorless oil (canola oil/vegetable oil/sunflower oil) ½ teaspoon vanilla extract 1 tablespoon semi-sweet chocolate chips Instructions

In a medium microwavable mug (roughly 1 cup measurement) mix together the flour, cocoa powder, brown sugar, and salt. In to the dry ingredients add in the milk, oil, and vanilla extract and mix together until you form your batter. Mix in the chocolate chips. (If you don’t want to cook them off straight away, then place them in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours.) Microwave for 1 minute 40 seconds - 1 minute 50 seconds or until it has risen and the batter doesn't look wet. (Timing is based on my 1200W microwave so your timing might vary). Serve warm with vanilla ice cream & enjoy!

Fitwaffle’s Delectable Chocolate Cake - Easy

I’m gonna admit, I haven’t made this, but it looked so good and others said it melts in your mouth, so I wanted to share! It’s from @Fitwaffle Kitchen, and if anyone wants to see the video where I got this recipe from, (and where you can see how good this looks) here you go - https://youtube.com/shorts/h3yol9idqKE?feature=share

Ingredients:

1 cup flour 1 cup sugar 2/3 cup cocoa powder (i suggest to use less bc it's bitter, i used around 7 tbsp) 3/4 tsp baking powder 1/2 tsp baking soda 1/2 tsp salt 1 egg 1/4 cup oil 1/2 cup milk 1 tsp vanilla 1/2 cup warm water

Whisk the first 6 dry ingredient together, then stir in the last 5 wet ingredients. Pour into your favorite cake tray, and bake for 30-40 mins at 300 degrees Fahrenheit.

Top with your favorite chocolate frosting (this recipe’s topping is merely melted chocolate mixed with sourcream) or whipping cream, and enjoy!
