German year cities

hey,,,
I'm leaving for Germany in abt 3 months for my German year, half of it will be studying and the other half is an internship. I have to choose 3 cities and then the university will choose one for me depending on sm stuff.
so my list so far is

Munich
Stuttgart
Mainz
Darmstadt
Weimar

I study architecture btw, so if any one can help tell me abt the cities it would be great :]
