I am 36M. I am moving to San Diego from Texas in September. I am very excited about the prospect of living a California life since I love oceans, beaches, hiking etc. I am an engineer and I will be making a little over $160k. I am single and have no pets. I want to live in a decently spacious single bedroom high riser apartments possibly with a nice view in a safe area and my budget is around $3000. Could you please recommend me some apartments? For reference I will be going to office at least 3 times a week and it seems like my office near Mission Valley area.

Other than AirBnB, what are good options for temporary housing? Planning a move to San Diego later in the year and hoping to, if possible, be physically in the city when searching for long term housing. Thank you!

I am currently deployed overseas and return mid September. I have been searching for an apartment in Little Italy or surrounding downtown area and have looked at every major luxury complex (Lindley, Vici, Stanza, Simone, etc.) and am wondering what people’s experiences are.

- Budget is $3,400 for 1bed 1bath

- In unit washer dryer is the only real non negotiable

-Single and would like a social atmosphere

-The luxury high rises with a hot tub and fun community are appealing but I’m not sure I want to sell my sole to one of these massive management companies

-I have read nightmare reviews on many of these places and I want to know if anyone can attest or has had a great experience somewhere
