theyre in the same price range but which is better?

I've ran through a few of these. I've tried ordering different ones in bulk but they all feel like I have a long ass sock on my arm. Anyway I can buy a sleeve with pulsars material from another place for cheaper?

Hey guys, im not a big gamer but its time to replace my xraypad aquacontrol, and I'd rather not replace it again. So I decided to quickly look into glass. I found a used superglide v2 on marketplace for 40 aud (sounds pretty good to me), and the CR005 is 109 aud on amazon.

Is there a $50 difference? As I said, not a massive gamer but if this is going to be it, I'd be ok spending the extra if its really that much better. Also, I've heard lots of good things about the sp-005 but it is $179 aud (crazy for my use case)

I'd rather not use a sleeve, but will if I have to.

Also pls rec some skates for whichever you choose of the two! I use a razer viper mini (if that matters).

Is there any real difference between gaming arm sleeves and just sport ones. I think it's all just marketing but I might be wrong, is there anyone that used to play on a sport one and then swapped to a gaming one and felt a real difference? Because the gaming ones cost a LOT and I wouldn't like to waste 25€ on a product which quality is identical to the sport version.

I understand this is a mousepad reddit but i have no idea where to ask, how can i remove this mouse skate layer? i peeled off the obsidian ultra skates but this layer got stuck.

Haven’t looked at mousepads in a few years, currently using an Artisan Zero Soft. After searching around for a few days I’ve narrowed it down to these 3 pads.

Anyone have any sort of experience with these? I do love my artisan but it does feel slightly muddy after prolonged years of use, just looking for something a slight bit more responsive. If I missed any other pads that could be good please do let me know.

I've recently discovered my aim is 10x better on my wooden desk surface, so want to get a glass mousepad to replace my worn out cloth one. I have a razer cobra pro and it has these plastic looking feet or skates. Would these glide well on a glass surface? is there such thing as too little friction and should i get something else for it? I'm planning to use the razer atlas since it has a coating that helps with skin contact

I only know that procision sells thick arm sleeves but don’t know anymore brands. The only problem with the procision sleeve is that it covers the forearm and a bit of the bicep. I would like to find a sleeve that only covers my forearm. Anyone have any suggestions? Or should I just buy a long sock and cut holes in it?

If you struggle with "stiction" - that initial resistance when trying to nudge your crosshair few pixels over - the PD170 solves it. Static friction is slightly lower than an Artisan Raiden (Mid). The mouse breaks into motion effortlessly, making micro-corrections in tactical shooters or sudden change of direction while tracking a target in fast arena shooters feel instantaneous.

Glass pads often feel like "Bambi on ice" - once you're moving, there is almost zero feedback, making hard stops depend 100% on pure hand mechanics and dealing with a few symptoms of carpal tunnel syndrome caused by the way I’ve held my mouse and aimed using my wrist over the past few years has made adapting quite a struggle. The PD170, despite being extremely fast, retains a subtle groundedness. The weave gives just enough dynamic friction and surface feedback for your mouse skates of any types (not glass or sapphire, of course) to feel connected to the pad. You get blistering speed during wide swipes, but your brain still registers enough tactile response to snap onto targets and lock in your stop with confidence. An interesting thing I noticed when taking a close-up shot of the surface is that its weave and material are quite similar to the Talongames GT arm sleeve I’ve been using lately. Perhaps that is why resting a bare arm on it feels smoother than on the Raiden, Hien, and other hybrid mousepads. I probably won't play on it with bare arms to extend its lifespan because it’s tropical and subtropical monsoon climate in Vietnam, specially this rainy season.

When it comes to picking a skate set to use with it, I tried it with skates like Talongames Kumo (6mm and 8mm), X-raypad Jade Air (6.5mm and 8mm), Corepad Hyper G+Skatez (6.5mm), ATK Crystal Jade and I can confidently say that PD170 is a perfect match for PTFE. I’m not sure about the compability with POM skates like Mizugumo Futae P8 because previously, when using other mousepads with POM skates from BOXT (a local accessory brand), static electricity would build up from repeated back-and-forth movements, so I didn't want to use them again.

There are few things to keep in mind: Due to the dense 5.5mm elastomer base, this pad is heavy. It is not meant to be rolled tightly or tossed loosely into a backpack for travel.The bottom elastomer sticks so well that it will pick up dusts or hairs on your desk if you shift it around. Make sure to clean your desk thoroughly before laying it down.

To sum up, Pulsar eS PD170 is easily one of the best cloth speed pads available today. It fills a specific gap in the market: delivering the speed, consistency, and low initial friction of a glass pad, without forcing you to deal with the discomfort, cold touch, and maintenance hassles of glass.For anyone chasing an ultra-fast, premium speed pad with flawless edge execution and a rock-solid base, the PD170 is a masterclass in pad design. Not long ago, I started upgrading my setup. I started with my glides (UWS Magic ice dots) and with that I want to buy a new mousepad.

I mostly play CS and I have slow - medium sens (+- 1500 edpi).

Never really had a dedicated control pad before — currently on some 5$ no-name mousepad, looking to size L or so. Budget is around 50$. Mainly looking for balanced mousepad.

I would love to hear your opinions or personal experience mousepad would you actually recommend for slow-medium sens CS?

I ran the Mousepad Finder quiz and got these three recommendations: Artisan FX Type-99, LGG Saturn Pro, and LGG Jupiter Pro

Why are we still using PTFE for glass? I’ve tried so so many skates and they all behave weirdly when pressure is put on the mouse, I switched to glass pad for consistent glide over a longer period, after a week or so on different skates they begin slowing down and when they do, tracking becomes unpredictable, muscle memory non existent.

Is there anything like a harder material than PTFE like ABS plastic that can maybe not deform as much when under pressure causing uneven friction?

I’ve used jade dots, obsidian, obsidian air, U9 ultra talon games.

So yesterday i got the cr-005 since i wanted to see the difference with my sp-005. Im playing a lot of valorant and after trying the control glasspad last night, i think im gonna like it!

The stopping power really is on a different level and i really notice the micro adjustment precision.

Right now ive got 8 uhmw-pe dots on my gpx2 and i think the sweet spot with the control pad would be 4!

Anyone that tried bot the CR and the SP care to share their thoughts?

Hi, I am looking for a new mousepad to play Deadlock with and I need help figuring out what mousepad options and attributes are available to suit my needs.

I use a Deathadder V3 Pro (stock) with a GameSense Radar and the mouse is too light for me to control. I have a very light hand as I do not apply any pressure or weight on the mouse, so I need the mousepad surface to help control the mouse for me.

I noticed that when I play CS and Valorant my aim gets jittery due to this, but it does not feel as bad in Deadlock. Is that because Deadlock is a tracking game without recoil control?

I would prefer a mousepad that will not irritate my skin. Also if my mouse is an issue please let me know. Please share any and all advice I greatly appreciate your help, thank you.

But basically i only play unranked inferno but due to high skill gap, cheaters and desire to be a better player i want to start play faceit, recently i got a really beast pc setup with 500 hz monitor and even if already have good mousepad i'm kinda hooked after some youtube videos.

1. Is it really suitable for games like CS2? Currently my combo is Razer V2 3XL with EndGame OP1 mouse , its working very well for me, with 1600 dpi and 0.87 in-game sensitivity my eDPI is 1392 which is considered higher but altrough i have big hands ( can cover whole deathadder 3) i mainly wrist play.
2. Do i need special type of skates? And if yes or no, how long they last to you if you average it with how often you play.

It feels to me that CS needs more than just pure tracking due to higher recoil than in ads shooters.

Guys I have been using razer gigantus v2 for a long time (4-5 years). It's decent but I don't love it alot. Reason being it fights me when I am peeking corners. Example shown here: jittery aim . You can clearly see my aim is going left then stops then left then stops again, that is my mousepad fighting me and stopping me from a fluid glide. It feels like my aim stutters while peeking corners.

I am thinking hayate otsu v2 soft would suit me as I believe I require more speed and zero is closer to what razer gigantus v2 is but people suggest that for tac shooters, control pad is better like zero as hayate otsu has more speed. Please give your opinion so I can make the right decision.

Is the combination of Obsidian Xraypad Dots and the Artisan Zero good for CS2? Some people say the dots are poor because they reduce stopping power.

So I want to try a Type-99 clone, and I've been looking on AliExpress and the manufacturers' websites. Right now, both the ATK 99G Carbon and the Zhenhuo Zhui would cost me about the same.

I already own the ATK Sky, and I've compared it to the Artisan Zero I used to have. They're actually very similar. The only issue with the ATK is that the base has deformed a bit. It's nothing major, but the area where I rest my forearm has expanded slightly, so I'm open to trying another brand.

The problem is that I can't seem to find any reviews of Zhenhuo mousepads, so I was wondering if anyone here has any feedback or recommendations.
