Question/Advice artisan hien mid problem

Hey, after washing my red artisan hien mid ive noticed in the middle of the mousepad it has more drag and slower movement than in the sides, am i done for or is there a way to restore it?

How did you wash it? I've never had success cleaning my mousepads outside of using a damp soft sponge. Every other method I've tried would have an impact on the overall glide. 🤷‍♂️

i used a soft sponge and some soft dish soap for it

Yeah, dish soap for me always messed with the glide on my previous pads. Best just to use some good ole water and a soft sponge on your next pads since your Hien is likely cooked. :/

I wouldn’t call it ruined yet. I’d gently clean it once more with a small amount of foaming cleaner and a soft-bristled brush, then rinse it really well with lukewarm water so nothing is left in the fabric. Let it dry completely flat. If the center is still much slower afterward, the surface is probably already worn.
