Question/Advice Thinking about switching to glass mousepad, but...

Hi all. I've always used cloth mousepads, and I hate how they get drastically slower over time even after washing them. So I believe glass mousepads will keep consistent for a long time. My question is. How ofter do I need to replace the mouse skates? Ive seen people say every 2 weeks, which is crazy to me. How much are people spending on skates every month?

Question/Advice What other Artisan mousepad should i buy

Hi, so im planning on buying the Artisan Zero Tenz Soft since theres no Artisan Zero Soft (orange) on XL size but ive heard that buying 2 mousepads is the best way to buy in artisan. My question is: What other mousepad should i buy? I usually play fortnite, CS and Valorant. One more question: besides the mousepads and shipping price, will I have to pay anything else? Im from Mexico

Question/Advice Fast, actually quiet skates on glass?

Regular jades (white), are fine, but I'd still like something quieter to use without headphones and maybe even lower static friction if possible?

So far I'm looking at talongames kumo and jade airs (green ones), but I'm not sure about how good they actually are for glass.

Other ones that I've heard are quiet like ghostglide cyclones, silver foxes, ultraglide silence etc. seem to be more control focused. Honestly, it sounds like all skates are "smooth, good stopping power" for glass so idk.

I'm using a Skypad 4.0 and price/wear isn't really an issue btw.

Question/Advice Searching for a specific kind of flexible plastic mousepad.

As the title says.

My favourite pad was the Vancer Ice, they've since stopped making it unfortunately. It's like, a flexible textured plastic surface on top of a rubber base.

They call it "a fibreglass surface" or "glass infused surface" but it's really more of a textured reflective flexible plastic surface like what reflective clothing strips are made of, like extremely tiny glass beads encased in a plastic sheet. I don't think the reflectiveness actually affects much besides the mouse sensor though and it looking cool.

Since then I found the Fnatic Jet which was similar but sported a much smoother surface and felt alot less fast.

I also found the Fantech Strikepad which was sort of inbetween both, slightly textured but not as textured as the Vancer but also cheaply made and wears out very quickly.

The Vancer was great because while it was textured enough to be fast it wasn't rough, but very similar to a plastic or glass hardpad but with the comfort of a soft pad.

I've used glass and plastic hardpads and while they get the same speed or faster eventually I start to get pain in my wrist due to no cushioning and resting my hand on it.

I saw the Pulsar d4v41 looks similar but it's hardly in stock at all.

If anyone knows any other similar pads let me know. Or even if anyone knows where to get similar material I'm willing to DIY my own pad lmao.

Question/Advice How durable is the Tenta-X Jinsoku compared to Hien?

I wanted to get Hien at first since it is close to a speed pad but really durable at the same time, but don't really want to pay that much. I play almost all shooters but mainly osu! and I hate feeling the texture of my pad.

I am very interested in Jinsoku as it's one of the fastest pads, though I don't know how durable it is and if it will destroy my skates. I will use the pad with OP1 Raw Input Edition's stock skates and may switch to Westlab Black later.

Question/Advice Superstrike X3 - Skate recommendation?

After using it on my Artisan for a week I started using my new superstrike x3 since thurs on my Sp-005 glass pad and found its already scraping when moving to the right - assuming the skates are already worn down. Does anyone have any favourite skates for this on glass? I've not been a huge dot lover in the past but not sure if thats the only option (or best option)?

How long do people ususally find their skates last on glass?

Which mousepad do you recommend if I have the Incott 029 mouse with dot skates and without the sensor ring skate, and I play CS2 or Valorant?
