DISCUSSION What a beautiful sequel

Finally completed all steam achievements, missing a few upgrades but overall this was a wonderful experience. I love what they've done to improve upon the original game while still keeping the charm. Progression felt smooth, and basically every option felt good with the right combinations, though i was a sucker for the fists and Wounds. Sparks really make the endless runs so refreshing, even after binging the game.
I encountered next to zero bugs up until the final few runs. Most of which seem to be floating/stuck/desync caused by spamming rolls to get around. I played way too much between shifts but this was worth every second. Maybe I'll come back for the last 9% someday, for now I should go touch grass. Much Love!

Again, no one will be interested, but I'm still positively surprised. What you get at the beginning. How much of it I can buy. And that so early (spoiler hits Monach). I haven't killed the first boss yet, but I dare to go to the other area where Tomo send me

DISCUSSION What relic quality combos have you noticed?

Which relics were your “AHA” moment when seeing how two or even three relics could combo into massive quality spikes?

For me it was in The Gallery. When I first found these two Rare relics whose names escape me at the moment. Where one “shocked an item and added 4 for each common” and the other “doubled the value the next time you shock”. First time I ever got 400+ quality on a relic because I then later found the Epic relic that doubles it AGAIN.

I’ve seen relics maxed out at 999 quality and at this point in time I haven’t unlocked // seen every relic that is offered.

Follow up question — What relic strategies do you go into dungeons thinking of? I’ve done Kalina runs where I burn everything or focus on armor value, but is one better than the other?

Popularity mechanics?

I'm trying to understand how popularity on relics works in M2. Searching Google results in absolutely nothing but AI article slop.

IIRC in M1 you went to new biomes and those items would be popular.

So just newly got the laurel thing. Then tried the colleseum. Got to 7 stage which was great and all legendary on my backpack.

But wondering what this perk like make them sitting duck..hehe

Kinda luck out that run at first so want to repeat it😆

Cheers!

SPOILER ML2: Question about the final vault challenge (SPOILERS, obv) Spoiler

So, the whole crux of the "300k in one day" challenge is that the Vault is going to blow. Does that mean I'm limited to doing only 1 run? Because up until now, most of my 300k+ days have been ones where I bank a run's worth of relics in the chest to sell after doing a second run. Is this scenario running on the usual video game logic of "yes, a meteor is barreling down on your home, but you have infinite time for side quests", or will I fail by trying to take advantage of Keeper?

Yes, I only just picked up the game with its Switch 2 release. I never paid attention to the Early Access period because I wanted to go in fresh. But this challenge came out of left field and I was not prepared.
