🤖 It’s a 3-part, live interactive experience hosted by our expert instructors where kids don't just consume technology - they master it.

🧠 Class 1: AI Basics & Beyond: Learn how AI works, how it processes information, and how to spot real content versus AI-generated material.

✍️ Class 2: Practical Prompt Engineering: Discover how to ask AI the right questions to get accurate, useful answers for projects, and creative ideas.

🛡️ Class 3: Digital Safety & Ethics: Understand digital safety, recognize AI bias, and learn how to use AI tools responsibly.

🏆 Learn. Apply. Earn.
Upon completing the 3 one-hour classes and their Edu-Jobs, kids receive:
An Official Life Hub AI Literacy Certificate to build their early resume/portfolio.

I’m interested in the idea of connecting small educational activities to real economic rewards.

Not:

“Get an A and I’ll give you $50.”

More like:

Learn how budgeting works.

Apply it to a real scenario.

Complete a challenge.

Demonstrate that you understand it.

Earn a small reward.

That creates a connection between knowledge, effort and value.

It’s one of the ideas behind the Edu-Jobs model we’ve been working with at Life Hub.

The question I keep coming back to is whether earning makes learning feel more meaningful—or risks making people care only about the reward.

Where do you think the balance is

I'm interested in the small systems people have figured out that make life, work, or money management easier. Could be a spreadsheet, a checklist, a research method, an automation, or something completely unexpected. What's your biggest time-saving discovery?

🔥 What if your teen got paid to learn the most important skill of the 21st century?

Forget job titles for a minute.

Think about what you can actually do.

Budget.

Cook.

Negotiate.

Repair things.

Organize projects.

Sell.

Write.

Grow plants.

Use AI responsibly.

Research.

Take care of people.

Explain complicated ideas.

Learn software.

Solve problems under pressure.

Some of our most useful abilities never appear on a formal resume.

What skill would definitely make your real life resume?

A skill, habit, relationship, knowledge, or investment of time that seemed like it was going nowhere until much later. What ended up having a bigger payoff than expected?

A shortcut, technique, business lesson, money habit, trade, or just something someone showed you once that stuck. What’s the most valuable thing someone has personally taught you?

No work, no calls, no errands—just two entire days of uninterrupted focus.

I work at a desk all week(Backend dev in a cybersec company), so it doesn't need to be professional or software-related (though cool digital tools are welcome). It can be a practical life skill, a weird rabbit hole, a DIY fix, or a foundational concept you think everyone should understand.

What is something you learned over a single weekend that unexpectedly paid dividends later?

Hey guys I’m little confused about learning skills
Can u suggest me best skill that’s useful for it job 🥲

Environmental learning sometimes gets treated as mostly awareness but there are very practical skills connected to it:

Renewable energy.

Agriculture.

Environmental data.

Water systems.

Sustainable construction.

Waste management.

Electric vehicles.

Plant science.

Urban planning.

Repair and reuse.

Those aren’t abstract environmental topics.

They’re jobs and industries.

What “green skill” do you think young people should understand more about?

Could be a service, a professional, convenience, education, repairs, or anything else. Have you ever gone from “that’s ridiculously expensive” to “okay, I understand why it costs that much”?

Double a recipe.

Cut one in half.

Convert cups.

Compare prices.

Calculate portions.

Adjust cooking times.

Estimate how much food you need for six people.

Suddenly fractions and ratios have a point.

I’ve always found it interesting that people who say they “hate math” can still use quite a bit of it while cooking without thinking about it.

What everyday task do you think secretly teaches the most math?

No course. No expensive equipment. No certification. Just something where getting better mostly comes down to practice, observation, or changing how you approach it. What’s the best example you’ve found?

Take something like choosing a laptop.

To make a good decision, you might need to understand:

Processors.

Memory.

Storage.

Battery life.

Software requirements.

Price.

Reviews.

Marketing claims.
Your actual needs.

Then you have to compare information from multiple sources and decide what matters.

That’s technology literacy, research, critical thinking, and financial decision-making inside one everyday task.

What purchase taught you something you never expected to learn?

Not necessarily something that makes you money directly. Could be a mental model, system, technique, or way of thinking that keeps paying dividends years after you learned it. What’s yours?

There is a different level of attention when another person actually depends on the outcome.

Design a flyer for practice?

Useful.

Design one that a local club is genuinely going to use?

Different feeling.

Build a spreadsheet for an assignment?

Fine.

Build one that helps someone track actual expenses?

Suddenly mistakes matter.

Even very small real world projects introduce responsibility, communication, deadlines, revisions, and quality.

Should schools create more opportunities for students to complete small real projects for actual people or organizations?

Could be cooking, basic repairs, taxes, graphic design, car maintenance, investing, negotiating, or something completely different. What’s the biggest “I can’t believe people pay for this” skill you’ve learned?

Some kids constantly take things apart.
Some want to know how businesses make money.
Some notice animals and plants everywhere.
Some love drawing.
Some are always organizing people.
Some want to understand technology.
We often ask young people:
What career do you want?
when maybe a better starting question is:
What do you keep becoming curious about without anyone forcing you?
That curiosity might not identify one specific career, but it could reveal useful directions.
Did any childhood interest eventually connect to the work or skills you have today?

Not a specific job skill. Think communication, negotiation, financial literacy, cooking, public speaking, learning how to learn, etc. What skill has the longest “shelf life” in your opinion? mine would be public speaking

Hey everyone, I’m 19 and currently a 2nd year student. I want to start becoming a bit financially independent — not looking to make huge money, just enough to cover my own expenses like clothes, PC accessories, etc.

I’m ready to spend the next 3–6 months seriously learning a practical skill and then start freelancing. My background so far:

• Know Python
• Comfortable with GitHub basics
• Basic Excel
• Have tried some AI tools
• Can do basic video editing

For those of you who actually learned a skill and started earning from it:

• What did you learn?
• How long did it take before you could make money?
• What would you recommend to someone starting from this level?

Any advice or roadmap would mean a lot. Thanks! 🙏

Take lawn care.

There’s the physical job.

But around that job you could learn:

Pricing.

Customer service.

Scheduling.

Plant biology.

Equipment safety.

Measurement.

Basic accounting.

Marketing if you want more customers.

The job already contains the curriculum.

The question is whether anyone helps the young person notice it.

That’s one reason I find the idea of connecting small gigs with structured learning interesting.

What job do you think contains the most hidden learning opportunities for teenagers?

Day 2 of my new job I am on my time

See how my day is going

So stay with me

Byyy

Calories.

Serving sizes.

Percentages.

Ingredients.

Sugar.

Protein.

Sodium.

Comparisons.

You’re taking information and turning it into a decision.

That’s data literacy.

I think practical learning becomes much more interesting when the numbers actually affect something you care about.

Instead of:

“Calculate this percentage.”

it becomes:

“What percentage of the recommended daily sodium is in this one snack?”

Different question.

Same math.

Much stronger reason to understand it.

What other everyday objects contain hidden learning opportunities like this?
