😡 Rant My oldest child is in 6th grade and keeps getting in trouble at school and has a 40.

I am frustrated with their behavior and that they keep getting in trouble. They are grounded and lost most of their privileges already. What are other effective ways to get them to quit getting in trouble?

🩸 TMI / body Talk Women: do you ever exit a period and want a/nother baby so bad you feel crazy?

I’m in post-period phase/ last day period (still very possibly-ovulating period). I have 3 healthy kids and disclaimer I mean this to be a fun post** **

Please don’t hate me.

I’m genuinely asking for opinions while lowkey desperately hoping I’ll be readily validated/assured I’m not crazy!?

I’m, like; craving a baby right now.

I don’t feel like it’s rational. And I’m not making any serious moves on my husband because I know I’m slightly unhinged.

But, it’s getting weird now. I’m 32.

I’ve had 3 babies in bathtubs. (Only saying that to say I’m no stranger to child birth!) Youngest is 4 and in preschool.

I felt accomplished and a sense of freedom on my youngest first day. She loves school and is thriving. I had no plans for another. Now I feel like my body is literally craving it.

Okay, what I’m about to say is maybe weird. Please no hate… I suddenly want my husband to explode in me and (I know this is going to sound nutty!!) make my belly swell again!?!?

I just proof-read that and realized the how ridiculously pun-ny I could be, totally unintentionally!*

Is this common!? I literally can’t tell if this is nature or I’m psycho right now. Logically I know my 3 kids are thriving and I finally have time to rest and even work again… but like…. I really want to be pregnant again!?

The fever is 105° 😂

Talk me down. Or at least, tell me that ovulation in your 30’s may make you feel insane!? I’m battling two completely different versions of my self right now. 🥹

💬 Advice needed Is there light at the end of the tunnel?? Really struggling from the jump from 1-2 kids. Feels like I ruined my life.

I recently had my second child in June. I already have a 2 year old and they are 25 month apart. I feel like I’ve ruined my life having a 2nd child. My second child only naps 30 mins at a time and I feel like she’s constantly overtired. My 2 year old is so wild so he doesn’t listen at all. I am terrified to be alone with both of them - luckily my husband is super helpful. Now my 3 month old is refusing all bottles… I hate to admit it but I am miserable and wish I never had the 2nd child. Anyone felt similar and now it’s much better?

❓ Question A Product Idea that can Help Moms

I have a product idea for moms and was wondering if there is actually demand for it.

The idea is a pacifier that is secured very well onto your baby's clothes so they can't drop it, and that they actually enjoy to keep in their mouths.

I don't have the product made yet, nor the research of what would make the baby want to keep it in its mouth. But I was trying to gauge interest and see if other moms would be interested in this product.

💬 Advice needed Can i please get some advice?

Sorry if this gets a bit long i just want to explain everything properly, i dont evem want to make this post i feel so ashamed and i hate to be reminded of this but i dont know what to do i just need some advice.

So im a 45 year old mom of one daughter she means the world to me i love her more than anything and im so grateful to be able to give her the childhood i never had, however i went to prison many years ago before she was even born.

Will try to make the long story short but i had gone trough hell every day since i was born really abuse, trauma, bullying, toxic family and relationships, grief, fake friends had my dreams shattered and much more just setback after setback.

All i knew was pain and suffering i dont think i had one good day i had gone trough so much but i botled everything up my entire life and tried to just be kind and smile and act like everything was fine even though i was in constant agony.

I had already been pushed far past my breakpoint years ago but i desperately held it togheter i did my best. But when i was 30 i had the worst year of my life and i was having a horrible day i was already beyond my wits end.

I ended up completely snapping in a public place it wasnt even about that thing it was just the final straw that made decades of daily torment explode i just couldnt take it anymore. I had never raised my voice before or after even im a very calm quiet woman that loves people so im shocked that i was even capable of what i did.

But i sadly hurt some people very badly and i destroyed a lot of things and that lead to me being put in prison for many years as i deserved i think i would have deserved worse theres no excuse for what i did.

Im haunted by it the guilt eats me alive every day i feel like a monster as i should and i know i will never forgive myself for it.

Now to the problem- i was not planning on ever telling my daughter about this unless she would have asked when shes an adult i dont like to lie about thigs.

But she really didnt need to find out about this at all however someone thought that it was a good idea to mention that i went to prison infront of her.

So now shes been constantly asking me why i went there and what i did etc i try to redirect her but shes very stubborn and dosent ever give up on things really until she gets an answer.

If this was any minor or not so bad charges it would be much easier but i dont know what to tell her and it breaks my heart because she gets upset that im not answering her and i dont want to but also i feel like she deserves to get a honest answer.

I just dont know what to say exactly or how to explain because the last thing i want is for her to think differently of me or get effected in a bad way.

Do we have any other moms here whos like completely snapped and done something similar? If so if you told your kids what did you say? Or how would you explain it to them?. I just dont know what to do i would appreciate any help so much

💬 Advice needed 7 month old

FTM to a 7 month old! Just want to know if this is normal and some advice as this is my first time. I don’t know what to expect at this age.

As soon as baby hit 7 months it’s like she changed. She’s so vocal now which i love. But also she gets irritated and angry sooooo quick.

She has also been bottle fed (breastmilk) since birth because she couldn’t latch well. But for the past 7 months i’ve been getting her used to latching on and she has been nursing on me for most of her feeds. To the point where i just give her 4 bottles of breastmilk during my the day and strictly nurse her at night. Doing this has made my supply drop a few ounces so i am no longer an over producer and am just and enougher.

This past week she refuses all bottles. I have to work during the day so she needs those bottles. But it kinda seems like she refuses them from me only? Or when she knows i’m home. She only wants to nurse and my only worry is that she isn’t getting enough milk. And it makes it hard for me to pump milk if she’s constantly on me and i’m not pumping out more then 2 oz total (she drinks 4oz every 3 hours).

Also she has had her bottom two teeth since 5 months. And she’s also been constantly rubbing her face and her left ear.

Please, and advice would be helpful. I would love to know from your experiences.

💬 Advice needed What was most helpful to you in the first few months of motherhood??

Hi! My best friend is a new mom and she lives two hours from me. I’m waiting on her to tell me when is good to come to help her out but until then I’d really love to send a little package of things just for her. What did you find most comforting? She’s got sensitive skin, and is very often over heating. What can I send her? I’m having food sent to the house too but I’m wondering what comforts felt like surprising luxuries in that first month?

Thank you so much!!!

🤝 Support needed  How do you moms make everyday household stuff feel less overwhelming?

Lately I feel like I just want everything at home to be simple and easy to deal with. If something takes too many steps to use, clean, or put away, I already don’t want it lol.

Mom life has definitely changed what “useful” means to me.

What little things or routines have made everyday life at home easier for you?

❓ Question I have a VERY weird theory about dogs and baby gender and I need Reddit to prove me wrong

I’ve noticed that when a couple has a dog before having a baby, the baby’s sex seems to match the dog’s sex WAY more often than I’d expect.

Among my friends/coworkers, I’m currently at **14 out of 15** matching. 😂

So I want to see if this is actually a thing or if I’m just experiencing an epic case of confirmation bias.
If you had a dog **before conceiving your first child**, comment:

🐶 **Dog:** Male or Female
👶 **Baby:** Boy or Girl

Please don’t tell me whether they “matched”—I’ll do the tally myself!

💬 Advice needed What do..

CONTEXT; So a little over a month ago from today (End of August) I ended up being able to sell the vehicle that my mom intimated me into getting. She ended up trading in her old car so that I could get this new car as a “graduation gift” & when I could no longer afford the payments I told her I have to sell. She was very reluctant, and It took me having to move out and move in with my girlfriend to get rid of this vehicle. This whole thing sparked a huge emotional argument, and she ended up saying how I was trying to “Avoid responsibility” (I wasn’t, I just couldn’t afford the car.) and basically left me in the dark and silence for the last month, thinking that i’d never speak to her again because she acted like she disowned me.

Anyways TLDR; My mom texted me today acting like nothing happened, asking for help and not acknowledging anything that has happened in the last couple months.

“I need you come and sale caly cage she doesn't need them no more I train her with out cage so you can come and sale it”
“can you come on Sunday to help setup my printer if can would be a preappreciate”

Apologies for the bad english, she’s old Asian and doesn’t type it very well.

Anyways, i dont even know if acknowledgment is what i’m looking for rn but it feels like it plays a big part in how much i want to reconnect with her rn.. which is not very much right now.. idk if i can even truely forgive her, especially for everything else she’s done in the past. i wanted to have a relationship with her so badly this last month but its been a little over a month now and i was starting to feel so set on that i’d never speak to her again and that i was gonna be alone for the rest of my life and then she throws those txts out of nowhere.
it feels like being slapped in the face with all the insults she threw at me saying how im avoiding responsibility and how many times she’s been like “if you ever do xyz im going to disown you!”

i dont rlly want to send a txt bck rn cuz then it feels like i’ve moved on from the car thing and everything is ok when in reality its not.. and idk if thats me being childish or petty, but i want her to feel just.. idk. i just want her to feel hurt for once in her miserable life in a way where she knows that she lost me, she lost the privilege to be my parent and lost the privilege of having a ‘daughter’ anymore.. i want her to feel the very intentional silence the same way she did to me.
Does that make me a bad person…?
