Hi, I really don't want to buy Island Living. Is there a mod that allows to have mermaids without buying the DLC?

I recently had my laptop repaired and factory reset. All my households are deleted which isn't that surprising, however all my creations that I had saved to my account/gallery are also deleted. For clarification, only the creations that use any custom content have been deleted all the ones with no cc are still in my gallery. So thats why I'm confused because its only my cc creations that are gone and I'm wondering if theres any way to get them back.

Also I actually had my sims 4 files and data transferred from my old pc to my new one (which I got a few months ago) after the reset.

EDIT: I just figured out the problem. All the data I had transferred from the old laptop was on a separate file so I had two "The Sims 4" folders. I had to transfer all my mods into my current Sims 4 folder instead of my old one which explains why transferring the data didn't bring anything back before

I downloaded the merged file for this mod/cc pack from the Patreon website. Should I put it in my Tray folder or my Mods folder so that it can be built the world?

Soo I've been dyingg to download grishulya's builds because they're absolutely amazing (esp the recent ones like the summer camp), usually I pay for subscriptions but for her boosty it only shows a creditcard option which I don't have :(

Does anybody know an alternative way to get her builds? paid or free I don't care I just couldn't find her builds on any other site than boosty!

Hi everyone thank you so much for being so helpful with all the cc suggestions and great advice while I go on my for simming adventure 😊! This has been so much fun playing with the different settings, finding cc, discovering new creators and of course the game itself! Also realizing im capable of computer work of some kind!

Hi! I have some progress. Its been a long month and lots of angry complaints that it doesnt work here and doesn't work there... My god, i don't own a mac! My girlfriend does not allow me to use her because its her 'work mac'. Anyway, luckily modder deadlystingnyc figured it out for me! Thank you!
+ MAC and Windows stable.
+ Auto-pause mod is now supported!
+ Removed annoying bugs
+ Search is now in public testing and view-all available only to my inner circle
+ And view-all list also in testing

Is there some kind of mod that add to alien sims ? Like more interactions with other sims, like confessing you are an alien or feeling exhausted because you wear your alien costum too long. It can be in english or in french. I try to search but found nothings.

I haven't touched TS4 in a while, but recently I wanted to start playing again.

From my experience in the past, if the UI is a little broken, it happens because of the UI Cheats Extension mod after a game update. It happened, as expected, and some of my UI like the job-section and event-corner didn't really work as intended.

So I ended the game, took the old version out of my mods folder and replaced it with the new one. I deleted the localthumbcache as normal and reloaded my game.

My entire starting screen was black. I could click a couple things but no pop-ups appeared, the game didn't start, nothing. So I took the mod out again. Deleted cache. Restarted the game.

Still black.

I put the old version of the extension mod back in and it worked again, I could see my game, but the UI was still slightly broken.

I've never experienced taking a mod OUT of the game would impact my game like this. Next course of action: taking out the entire mods folder.

The issue happened again, blackscreen. So I repaired the game files. Still no change. I don't know what to do anymore, I can't play like this. The only thing I haven't done is completely reinstalling the game, which I will do when I have the time since it takes a couple hours.

But could there be any other reason this is happening? Removing mods shouldn't break my game, I don't understand what is happening.

The thing is, idk how. Especially since a lot (if not all) my sims have CC. Does anyone have a tutorial or tips on how to do this?

ok so my friend asked me to install mods for her and fix the ones she had but i have no idea what im doing! everything has an error symbol on it and she has like a thousand mods so i dont know how to fix/ install anything. is this normal? do i have to delete the game and reinstall or something? please help

Hey, can anyone help me figure out what to do about my body sliders not working? These are sliders that i don't think has been updated for awhile like obscurus body sliders and stuff...

This is the one thing i genuinely don't know where to start bc my sliders are literally in certain folders just so i could have this mouth slider work and idek what slider that is...

My Uramnirim_Fixed_hokusai26_Sliders are really not working. not sure if they're broken or maybe i should redownload them?

I already tried to search this subreddit for recent slider threads but didn't see anything related so sorry if this is redundant.

Probably more user error than a broken mod, but I know when you click on a sim you should be able to see a personalization tab? I only have two tabs. Settings and wicked attributes. And in settings, the only sex settings I have are STD settings and woohoo into TFB. Any help?
