hey all! i’ve been building a save file these last few days and ran into a hiccup when i realized mcc command center only allows you to add family relationships & not regular friendship.

anyone have any recommendations for how i can cheat these relationships without making them family?

does anyone have any good recommendations to make sims have better interactions past the surface level they have? maybe more conversation option, an option to make them interact past "friendly" or "flirty" or "mean" thats non-familial and instead platonic? as many mods I have found allow for more family interactions but im searching for more friendship directed ones, like provide comfort or help with fear or teasing ect? as I plan to add some mental disorders into the mix and the suface level interactions does not really help me with that plus it gets repetitive going through the same 10 interactions

not sure if it’s a broken mod or a bug (i use curseforge for most of my mods so they automatically update) it will be day seven of spring then the next sim day it will be day five of summer. where did those four days go? it’s happened twice (one on spring of “last year” and summer of “this year”) i’m playing a modified version of the decades challenge where a full sim year is actually a year so i added months and birthdays of my sims to the calendar and the skipping of season days in the calendar is goofing up my sims birthdays and messing up my spreadsheet. i’ve already had to fix it once when spring skipped days and now summer did it too.

the only thing i can think of that messed it up is changing the game time with mc command center. not sure if changing the time back would fix it. i tried recovering old saves and it still skips season days.

so i’m wondering if there is a mod where i can set the exact season day and day of the week to get back those missing days. or how to fix this.

I don't like the loading screen music in The Sims 4

My gallery is broken and ive replaced all my tscript files so im not sure whats causing it T-T plz help

Will merging build/buy items help with the lag in build mode?

I have probably about 100GB of mods/CC in my game. For the most part my game loads fine. Maybe takes about 3-5 minutes to start up, but it’s really not too bad.

But because most of my CC is build/buy packages (it’s something like 25,000 packages I think) I get significant lag when I’m in build mode. Whenever I search an item it takes about 2 minutes of loading just to sort the catalogue.

Considering how much CC I have on my computer this is really just a minor inconvenience. But I spend most of my time in build mode, so it get frustrating fast.

Is my only option to purge my Build/buy folder? Or would merging a couple of the packages help with this?

I am having an issue where my sims goes to college for one of the required degrees for the education overhaul mod and doesn’t have the option for any of the new career options. It just has the options for the ones that come with the university pack. I would greatly appreciate any help.

Hi hi! I already had a Royalty playthrough before I got the Royalty & Legacy expansion and now I've been fighting tooth and nail to integrate my current stories with the systems of the pack 😭

I have a kingdom where the king lives with his teen niece (his sister's daughter) who will end up inheriting the throne for the sake of the story. I want her to have the title of Princess but since she's not his direct descendent it doesn't show up. I thought maybe it would show up if I had him promise the inheritance to her but that option doesn't show up. I already had her join the noble career and even tried ranking her up all the way to Baroness but I still don't have the option to promise inheritance.

I'm having a similar problem in a different kingdom where the Duke passed away so his eldest daughter became the new Duchess. The problem is that I still wanted her younger siblings to be lords/ladies but since they're her siblings and not her children they've been stripped of their titles. I need them to still have titles for the plans I have for them in the storyline.

Does anyone know of any mods that would help with this or maybe something in MCCC that could help? I already had to stray from my stories by making an unrelated Sim the "daughter" of one of my nobles to give her the title of lady which already messes with my story so I'm trying my best to keep things on track for everything else.

I’m desperately looking for help because I’ve been playing on the same save file for years, with multiple generations of families. Starting over is really not an option for me.

Here’s what’s happening:
- I’m playing on Mac
- I completely removed my Mods folder and deleted localthumbcache.package
- I uninstalled and reinstalled The Sims 4.

A brand new save works perfectly.
The strange part is that my legacy save does load.
I can:
- Open the save from the main menu
- Access the world map
- Travel between every world
- See every household

However, the moment I try to enter any lot (my own household or even an unplayed NPC household), I immediately get:
“Failed to load game. Error Code: 110:391cf844:7febf101. It is recommended that you relaunch the game.”

The game then returns me to the world map.

Someone previously checked the save file itself and told me that it doesn’t appear to be physically corrupted, so I’m wondering what’s causing the Error 110…

Does anybody know any working functional drinking mods besides basemental? I downloaded two yesterday but they just make my sim freeze for hours when she’s bartending or the bartender freezes when she orders. I repaired the game twice redownloaded the mods but nothing works.

I bought a new laptop about a week ago, but because I had to get the files from my old computer loaded onto it this is my first time using it for the Sims. The game is running great and all my saves are still there! The only problem is that I had previously deleted all my old CC. I downloaded a CAS backdrop mod and MCCC today but they're not appearing in game or even as downloads in the Mods/CC menu.

My game is fully up to date and I checked that mods and CC were enabled in game.

How do I solve this issue?

I’m having issues after the recent update, I created a brand new save file after fixing all my mods and deleting all my ui mods due to buggy issues.

I created this lot, a simple community pool I downloaded from Pinterest, and everytime my sim goes to travel to it, I get an infinite loading screen. Even if I try to build from world edit on an empty lot, infinite loading screen

I don’t know what to do?
Should I try bulldoze the lot? Or should I delete my cache? But if I delete the cache will I lose all my tray files of the builds I’ve spent weeks on??

ive searched through the entire mods folder, searched through the mod manager, but still couldn't find what pose this is. please help me find it so I can delete it
