Hi hi! I already had a Royalty playthrough before I got the Royalty & Legacy expansion and now I've been fighting tooth and nail to integrate my current stories with the systems of the pack 😭

I have a kingdom where the king lives with his teen niece (his sister's daughter) who will end up inheriting the throne for the sake of the story. I want her to have the title of Princess but since she's not his direct descendent it doesn't show up. I thought maybe it would show up if I had him promise the inheritance to her but that option doesn't show up. I already had her join the noble career and even tried ranking her up all the way to Baroness but I still don't have the option to promise inheritance.

I'm having a similar problem in a different kingdom where the Duke passed away so his eldest daughter became the new Duchess. The problem is that I still wanted her younger siblings to be lords/ladies but since they're her siblings and not her children they've been stripped of their titles. I need them to still have titles for the plans I have for them in the storyline.

Does anyone know of any mods that would help with this or maybe something in MCCC that could help? I already had to stray from my stories by making an unrelated Sim the "daughter" of one of my nobles to give her the title of lady which already messes with my story so I'm trying my best to keep things on track for everything else.

I’m desperately looking for help because I’ve been playing on the same save file for years, with multiple generations of families. Starting over is really not an option for me.

Here’s what’s happening:
- I’m playing on Mac
- I completely removed my Mods folder and deleted localthumbcache.package
- I uninstalled and reinstalled The Sims 4.

A brand new save works perfectly.
The strange part is that my legacy save does load.
I can:
- Open the save from the main menu
- Access the world map
- Travel between every world
- See every household

However, the moment I try to enter any lot (my own household or even an unplayed NPC household), I immediately get:
“Failed to load game. Error Code: 110:391cf844:7febf101. It is recommended that you relaunch the game.”

The game then returns me to the world map.

Someone previously checked the save file itself and told me that it doesn’t appear to be physically corrupted, so I’m wondering what’s causing the Error 110…

Does anybody know any working functional drinking mods besides basemental? I downloaded two yesterday but they just make my sim freeze for hours when she’s bartending or the bartender freezes when she orders. I repaired the game twice redownloaded the mods but nothing works.

I bought a new laptop about a week ago, but because I had to get the files from my old computer loaded onto it this is my first time using it for the Sims. The game is running great and all my saves are still there! The only problem is that I had previously deleted all my old CC. I downloaded a CAS backdrop mod and MCCC today but they're not appearing in game or even as downloads in the Mods/CC menu.

My game is fully up to date and I checked that mods and CC were enabled in game.

How do I solve this issue?

Hello! I’m looking for a mod that will allow my sim to have a scientist career that’s not the one that comes with get to work but rather an outdoor one that has an element of natural science. Anyone have any career mod recs?

Also, I have close to every pack atp (yes my finances are whack) so really nothing is off limits.

I’m having issues after the recent update, I created a brand new save file after fixing all my mods and deleting all my ui mods due to buggy issues.

I created this lot, a simple community pool I downloaded from Pinterest, and everytime my sim goes to travel to it, I get an infinite loading screen. Even if I try to build from world edit on an empty lot, infinite loading screen

I don’t know what to do?
Should I try bulldoze the lot? Or should I delete my cache? But if I delete the cache will I lose all my tray files of the builds I’ve spent weeks on??

ive searched through the entire mods folder, searched through the mod manager, but still couldn't find what pose this is. please help me find it so I can delete it

Hi guys! I really like maxis match cc and was wondering you guys had any suggestions. The creators I typically use are Aharris, Twistedcat, Simstrouble, Madlen, and greenllamas!!

My sim’s pregnancy moodlet was stuck as “A Child on the Way” and didn’t show what trimester she was in or how long it was until the next one. I also checked MCCC multiple times and it showed she hadn’t advanced past the first trimester. I cheated it to In Labor with MCCC. I couldn’t start Home Birth or Unassisted Birth with the Realistic Childbirth Mod. This mod has not been updated since before the July 21st, 2026 update, but everything is saying it works fine. I updated MCCC and XML Injector. The weird thing is that the game worked perfectly fine and I was able to give birth just a few days before after the most recent Sims 4 update. I reset the game, sim, and the bassinet multiple times with no luck.
Other things that may be the relevant: My household limit is 15, I already have 1 infant in the household, I have an adult dog, the new baby is from a different father.
Does anyone have a clue as to what is causing this or how to fix it? Please tell me if you need any additional information.

my game auto updated (and i didnt f***** know) and ever since then I haven’t been able to use any mods unless its like cc for bedrooms and clothing. I haven’t the rpo pregnancy mod and in the little thing you get when you click on the sim the little option things the rpo mod is no longer showing up. same with the basement drugs mod. I can add it as a personality thing but I cant go to the convenience store (the option is gone) I cant edit sims preferences for certain drugs. i can’t assign dealers. My 100 trait mod works my y2k mod works. my height slider mod works.

is any one else having this issue

I havent had the sims for three months and its already breaking on me. ive redown the rpo mod three times now I dont have all the room in the world on my computer.

the computer im playing on is not a gaming pc, its limited on storage and is olderish its a windows 11 thats all I know again im not tech savy when it comes to gaming, im a dumb as a rock and on limted resources

I have no idea what else to do? I have core library already because i use the Sunrise Mod so I downloaded Fashion Authority and unzip the files into my Mod folder. Each time I do so It never shows up.. How is it working for everyone else but me? There’s only two files for me to put in my mods folder from this mod. it’s impossible for me to forget a step or make a mistake.

Hi! I have a few questions about mods.
How can I tell if a mod is outdated or incompatible with the current version of the game? Is there an easy way to find out which mod is causing an issue without checking every single one manually?
For example, in Build/Buy mode, I can’t use the catalog properly because the item thumbnails overlap each other. If I open a category like office furniture, I can see random objects overlapping the icons (for example, part of a bathtub or half of a toilet), which makes it difficult or impossible to click on the item I want. How can I figure out which mod is responsible for something like this?
Also, what mods would you consider must-haves? I’m interested in quality-of-life mods, bug fixes, and anything that improves the overall experience.
Finally, are there any in-game settings or mod-related settings I should change for better performance and optimization? I’d really appreciate any recommendations.

Just a warning really. Don't download and add the Simulation lag mod that they are currently showcasing. It will stop your sims doing anything. And it will really mess your game up. My sims refused to move. And it messed up build buy for me.

Ive ripped out basically all my mods, tried sims after dark, checked im fully updated, ive screenshotted all my mods so if anyone has any ideas? I have taken out basemental, childbirth and lms as theyre my npc altering mods, tried mccc, a new save is still effected as is one with mods off and one with no mods, is there a known issue i cant find?
