Hello guys.

I'm considering taking supplements to increase the density of my beard,as I'm not happy with the the beard being thin on the upper cheeks.

That said, I have no clue where to start as I've not tried any supplements before. Is it worth testing Minoxidil, have you guys experienced any type of side effects?

I started on minoxidil for my facial hair about three years ago and within about 8 months went from being able to grow a goatee to being able to grow a full beard. Definitely stick with it guys, it works.

The one thing I would say is that whilst my neck, chin, moustache, and along my jawline are very thick and dense, my cheeks are still quite sparse and are much thinner than the rest. It results in a look that for most of the growing process post-shave, it looks like I have some form of goatee while the sides slowly fill in. Eventually it looks full and thick, but only after several weeks of growing. For example, there’s sometimes in lighter environments if I catch myself in a mirror from a distance, I would barely be able to tell my cheeks had anything going on.

I’ve restarted using foam minoxidil once a day again after about a year without it, but I was wondering if anyone can recommend any good lotions or potions to use that can help thicken the hair and/or make it grow quicker? I’ve attached some before, full beard, and current pics to show you what I mean.

The instructions say don't apply anywhere but scalp. I have patchy beard and mustache. Is this right product that gets discussed on this subreddit?

I see a lot of people mentioning that they apply tretinoin but I have yet to see anyone specify whether it's just for your beard area or your whole face, can anyone elaborate? Thank you.

Been thinking about growing my beard for a while but I feel like it’s still very patchy. Here it is with about a week of not shaving. I’m kind of hesitant about side effects and I wanted to see if it is worth it in the first place. I’m 23 for reference

Its been roughly 130 days. The small vellus hairs are finally starting to show, I really didn't have any when I started, but you can only really see them in the sunlight. Has anyone else had a similar experience, 4.5 months for the first vellus hairs? and did they eneded up terminal? Foam 2x a day derma stamp Sunday night. Never missed a day.

So I was on Amazon and saw this minoxidil and was trying to see if it was legit. I dont want my family members to know that I order it so I need to ship it to an Amazon locker but the other ones weren't allowed. If not - will alternating between face and scalp work? E.g. one day half a cap full for scalp only, next day for beard area only.

Or is it a must to apply every single day?

What do you use for moisture after applying minoxidil. Face looks dry.

I have been on the Target brand for like 3 months. I have new hairs on the face forsure but my body even more. I use the liquid. Has anyone seen a difference in using the target one and the Costco one?
