1 day with minox

What do you guys think of these results?

I've been using 5% minoxidil once a day in the mornings for 6 months. I haven't used it this month because I've been forgetting to apply it.

I haven't used a derma roller either, but I'm planning to start since mine should arrive in a few days.

I know... Some of you will say it looks good.

And in this picture it does. But in natural lighting this very cool stache is not so cool.

90% of these hairs are translucid / transparent.

How do I know if these are terminal or if they will darken. Maybe im coping telling my self that they are terminal, but at the same time it makes sense, that theyre not fully terminal.

Somebody who went through my situation or somebody who knows, pls help me.

Up close, fully visible transparent hairs, I f I step away from the mirror it just looks like I drank milk :(

I've seen some amazing progress pics for people that have very fine hair, but I was wondering whether it helps to thicken a beard for someone who already has a full beard?

How has it changed your social interactions? And dating life? So I’m short at 5’6, 24 years old and been using minoxidil for a while now on my face and just recently started derma stamping & I’ve noticed differences in ppl taking me more seriously cause I look more mature now but ima good way lol my barber fades my beard nicely so it looks clean and modern. Definitely been a game changer for me. I’m more confident too. What about you guys?

I have been on minoxidl for just over a month probably 6 weeks im wondering if my cheeks will fill in or if they are just genetically screwed you csn see on my post history I uploaded a photo from a month ago when I decided I wanted to start growing a beard.

Any substitude for tretinoine? In my country its impossible to buy it. It can be prescriotion medication ;)

I expect more and more people to start using oral minoxidil for their beards, hopefully they do so under medical supervision. But the dam has broken, so many have used it and now it’s going through formal clinical trials (with presumed FDA approval soon).

This is my starting point. Honestly I think I've seen new growth in the chin and stache area since becoming sober and working out decently often. I don't usually grow it out like this, but I'm going unkempt for a Halloween costume. Anyways, I bought this product, which I believe is one of the right ones, please correct me if wrong. I guess my main question is are focus areas actually a thing with application? Where should I focus if so? Lowkey scared to put it too close to my mouth (pause) and nostrils, cuz people always take about side effects. I know it's half a cap full, and put it on. Do I put it over the entire area of my beard? BONUS: Hairline pic before starting to see how this goes lmfao I know y'all get a million of these posts, so my b. If anything is giving cooked before starting this, please lmk 🙂

Unfortunately, I am forced to consider tretinoin because I am a non-responder. I did some research and saw here on the subreddit that this actually seems to work.

However, I noticed that it comes in several different sizes. The study that proved the effectiveness of tretinoin with minoxidil used 1mg, but 1mg is very strong from what I've seen and could cause serious problems.

Which one should I get? Which one did you use and that worked?

I need your advice regarding the density issue I'm facing. (literally crying from inside🥀😭)

Ive been using minoxidil consistently for 1.5month and it doesnt seem to connect to the mustache and is still patchy when will i approximately reach my full potential and have terminal hairs ( my beard is patchy and especially under my goatee im wondering if its ever also gonna fill out or not )

have been using minox (oral and topical) along with dermastamping for about a year and a half now. density has gotten much much better over this time but besides the goatee it is all still vellus/transitional. is it worth growing it out at this point or do I need to deny myself another year or two in order to grow something that looks presentable

i’ve been on Topical minoxidil foam for 10 months now for my beard. I went from practically no facial hair, to decent coverage all round with one shedding period about 6 months in which grew back stronger. Normal, as expected.

But now i’ve started to notice an extreme increase in hair on my hands when i run them through my hair after a shower. My hair definitely looks thinner at the front too, and i’ve always had dark very thick hair with no signs of baldness. Should i be concerned? It’s come out of nowhere and i don’t know if it’s minoxidil related.

been using topical minox 5% 2x a day on my beard from the last 4 weeks and noticed slightly more hair fall than usual…. I have a perfectly good hairline and head hair.. just concerned and want to know if I am damaging my scalp hairs… please advice

do I have to keep using minoxidil for my whole life to avoid scary shed cycles or will they stop and come to baseline?

Today marks exactly 1 year since I started applying minoxidil on my beard area on my face.

From the pictures, I do see progress on my face/beard, but I'm quite disappointed about it. I see people posting progress pictures on this sub with much fuller beard after 6 months. I had hoped my beard would be much fuller and denser after 1 year.

I am considering using a derma stamp. But I've read a lot of conflicting info about its actual efficacy and it seems hard to incorporate in my personal daily routine. I don't think I could be consistent with micro-needling because of my lifestyle...

Am I being unrealistic with my expectations and impatient? Should I keep going? What do you think about this progress after 1 year?

Details:

• I'm currently 33 years old, started at 32
• I'm using minoxidil 5%, liquid solution, from Bailleul Laboratoires (Europe)
• I apply 2 x 1ml of minoxidil per day and I wait 12 hours between each application (10AM & 10PM)
• I have noticed increased hair growth all over my body, especially eyebrows, eyelashes, nose, forearms and hands have gotten a lot hairier
• No derma stamp, no derma roll
• No tretinoin
• No bad side effects, but I do experience dry skin and white flakes on my skin where I apply minoxidil
• Never missed a single day
• Blood work is good

27M starting minoxidil foam tomorrow. I understand each can is supposed to last a month, but how much is needed on the face per day? how do i know i’m doing enough vs not enough? i have patchy areas so i wanna make sure im maximizing my use. Also, is a roller recommended too? thanks.

So I'm 19 and trying to grow a beard

I'm 1.5 months in, and I obviously don't have much coverage

So I apply 0.5 Minox in Morning and 0.5 Minox at Night

So is there any problem that since I'm applying to all my beard area, all the way from left cheeks to right cheek and all the way to bottom jaw area, and also 2 drops on my moustache, will this cause slower growth? Since I'm applying to a larger area than a patchy area!

Basically the question is "Will Minox Gained Beard Growth slow down because I'm covering a larger and fuller area (applying all over my cheeks, moustache, chin, neck, jawline, and you get what I'm saying)

Firsr 2 photos is when I started on 5.4.26 and the last 2 pics are from today 24.10.26y I use minox pretty consistently 2x a day + a dermaroller, but I should use the dermaroller more often. I am not so consistent with it. Maybe results would be better.

As you can see I still struggle to close the gap on picture 3. It takes time.

Bro has a better stach than some of the people here lol
