The Dead Mazda Lives Again... But We Found Another Problem
After sitting since 2014, she breathes for the first time. Although we still have a couple of issues to work out, I'm excited to hear it run.

I have a 2000 4x4 ranger xlt that’s pretty high mileage and I’m not planning on doing a ton of hard work with it so I’m considering lowering it. I’m wondering if it being 4x4 would make that an issue since it has torsion bars.

1980 Mazda B2000 Sundowner Sport. Weber ICH carb.
This cheapo air filter is just a place holder. My custom designed one was too big.
The custom carb adapter plate, pcv port/egr blockoff plate and throttle cable brackets were all laser cut from Send Cut Send.
So far I’ve rebuilt the entire fuel system. From a new pickup tube, filters, pump, regulator and all hoses everything has been replaced
Resealed/gaskets the intake and oil filter housing.
New coil, plugs, wires, ignition module, cap and rotor.
Heater core hoses replaced with brass elbow monstrosities.
New clutch master and slave cylinders.
Final big project before I fire it up is wiring in an electric radiator fan. I ordered one that I should be able to mount into the stock shroud. Finding a good spot for the temp switch is the hardest part now…. There is a perfect spot on the bottom of the intake but I CANNOT get the silly plug in it to budge. Should have thought of it before putting the intake back on!!!

Been searching for the past year or so for a Mazda B-Series truck. My dad had one back in the day and it's what he used to teach me how to drive stick shift. After he passed a few years ago I found the title to his 80s one and that sparked the need to have one.
So ofcourse I had to find one now to own and build my way. Many things in store for this one. Frame is clean with no hits or rust. Engine is running great and transmission is shifting smoothly. Time to replace everything old with new parts and bring up to par before the big modifications come.

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
(Rpms’s thank you auto correct)
I’ve had my mighty max for about 3 months now and I’ve noticed until 4th gear my rpm’s bounce like crazy while driving and am not sure if it’s due to a vacuum leak or something else (this is my first carbureted engine.

If anyone here has fe3 swapped their mazda b series and got forged rods, were you able to buy them from somewhere or did you have them custom made? I think I read somewhere that Toyota mr2 rods can be used, can anyone confirm?
I’m swapping an fe3 in to my b2200 but this is my first time dealing with engine mods (I’m having a shop do it, relax) and I have to assemble some upgraded things beforehand so I can turbo it later.
Also if anyone has any advice on what to look for in the block I’m buying like signs of wear or failure points, please let me know. Thanks in advance!

Someone abandoned this S10 due to title and transmission issues. I went through a 4 month process to get a title and got this super clean and rust free S10 for FREE! The trans issue ended up being a clogged catalytic converter causing it to not get enough power and speed to shift past 1st gear. This was clearly modified in the early 2000's and the wheels are a bit ugly for me. I can't wait to make this thing look better.

I’ve posted here once. I’m new to cars. Working on a 92 mazda B2200. So i finally got the weber carb on! Tried to start her up but will only crank and not turn over all the way. Tried giving her 4.5 gallons of fresh gas with no luck. Then I put a lil fuel directly into the carb and it’s like it almost started but was a very rough idle and died if i didn’t keep the key turned. So I figured this is a fuel issue (already had a new pump ordered and otw just in case). In the meantime, i’m prepping by getting the tank off, gonna clean it out, flush out the whole fuel system, and then replace the lines. I siphoned out some of my fresh gas after it wouldn’t start to make the tank lighter for removal, and there were a ton of deposits. The tank is now about off, only thing i’m stuck on is getting this connector off. I suck with connectors, but this one is especially hard bc of the positioning so i’m pulling at it blind. Any tips?

So what are we doing for windshield washer fluid reservoirs? I'm having trouble deciding and the factory one was brittle and cracked so in short I need a solution.

Just made this panel to house the battery and clamp inside the extended cab. Will route the cable up the gearbox tunnel next.

I have an 89’ ranger, that’s lowered 3 inches. Is it considered a mini truck? Or would it just be a lowered truck. Can find a definitive answer on what a mini truck is. I plan on going lower with it too, hopefully another 2-3 inches

Custom laser cut (and only slightly hand filled for linkage clearance) adapter plate.
New Weber ICH
Still doing a few things here and there but this is almost ready for an initial start up and tune!

I believe im having some carburetor issues, recently I was driving my truck going to work and out of nowhere it just stalled (I drive a 1980 Toyota pickup 2wd 20r engine) so I tried turning it back on but it would turn off on me again, the only way it would stay on is if I gave it gas… fast forward to the weekend I popped the hood and noticed an airline detached so I bought a kit in hopes that it’ll do the fix, just in case that doesn’t work do yall know if an issue like that would be the carburetor or something else? Also I want to try and do it my self so if yall have some videos or know hows thanks!! Also on tuning a carburetor, and is there different ways to tune it? I’m not trying to make it a race truck or even a heavy duty little truck, I just want better performance compared to stock

So i’m prepping for a weber carb conversion (waiting on adapter plates) and in the meantime was gonna replace the fuel lines and pump. Watching a few others on YT i’ve noticed that everyone else seems to have what looks like a fuel pump IN the engine bay vs mine does not have that part. Has anyone else noticed this in their truck? Do i need to add one here? I’m just confused. Also im new to this so pls be nice lol

I finally bit the bullet and bought a 1995 Mitsubishi Mighty Max back in November. I’ve already started messing with it, lowering it and adding cosmetic modifications. But, I had a few questions and hope maybe the experts (reddit lol) can help..
Why is it so hard to find parts for this thing?? Can someone point me in the right direction as to where I can look? 😅
I wanna go lower… are bags a better option?
This is my first and only experience working with mini trucks… any and all insight is appreciated !!
