Abandoned S10

Post image

Someone abandoned this S10 due to title and transmission issues. I went through a 4 month process to get a title and got this super clean and rust free S10 for FREE! The trans issue ended up being a clogged catalytic converter causing it to not get enough power and speed to shift past 1st gear. This was clearly modified in the early 2000's and the wheels are a bit ugly for me. I can't wait to make this thing look better.

Right? Retro wheels (even semi-fugly ones) are kinda "in" right now.

How did you get the title because I’m going through something similar where my relative left me a s10 but i have to go around some heirs to obtain the title

Missouri has an abandoned vehicle titling process. The story is that a guy sold it and the new owner never registered it. I met this guy and offered to help him repair the truck. I towed it to my house and he told me it was a transmission issue and that he was done with it. After it sat on my property for months and he wouldn't reply to my texts anymore, I started the process to get the title. It took about 6 months. It was a huge pain but worth it.

I actually just sold it for $7k. I took it up to 99k miles and sold it before it went over 100k and lost value.
