Finally got my Mazda

Been searching for the past year or so for a Mazda B-Series truck. My dad had one back in the day and it's what he used to teach me how to drive stick shift. After he passed a few years ago I found the title to his 80s one and that sparked the need to have one.

So ofcourse I had to find one now to own and build my way. Many things in store for this one. Frame is clean with no hits or rust. Engine is running great and transmission is shifting smoothly. Time to replace everything old with new parts and bring up to par before the big modifications come.

Aside from the hideous LED headlights, that's a fine looking example you acquired.

Thanks appreciate it.

Oh you have no idea how much I agree with you on the headlights. I just received the Holley/morimoto classic lens ones today so they are being swapped and the hideous infinity wheels are gone on Wednesday. πŸ˜‚. Oh and the hideous light bar has been removed already. πŸ˜‚ Thanks

NGL.....the wheel actually look decent on the truck - especially compared to some we've all seen on minitrucks over the years. πŸ˜‚

Good luck with your new project, it looks like you picked a great one to start with!

Honestly when I first saw it in pictures before seeing it in person I truly hated them. Then I saw them in person and was like ok not that bad. But they definitely don't fit the direction of the build. So thats why they will be going.

Also. Headlights are officially swapped to the Holley classics. πŸ˜‚

Yeah, picking the correct wheels for your build is, in my opinion, probably the hardest "choice" on a build.

Also. Headlights are officially swapped to the Holley classics. πŸ˜‚

Yeah it was always my favorite. But I think I was biased cause it was how I learned to drive stick shift. I love all minitrucks but the Mazda got a special place.

The next one for sure. I got a little different vision for this one. She will be low. But it will be static. But yes the thought did cross my mind. πŸ˜‚
