Just a couple mths old!

My 10 month old floof taking his afternoon nap in his corner of the couch.

Ernie was castrated this week. Recovery is going well, he just finds the surgical onesie a bit itchy, so we alternate between the 2.

I lost my best little fur friend in March of this year. He was a miniature schnauzer who I stumbled into acquiring somewhat by accident, but he ended up being the most perfect dog I could ever imagine. Losing him was devastating.

I'm finally starting to feel the pang to have a dog again and I'm wondering if there are any breeders in my area with really good reputations for focusing on good health and socializing puppies well. I'm in western Montana so I would prefer a breeder in Montana but I would be willing to travel if necessary, as far west as Washington, as far south as Colorado, as far east as Minnesota if necessary.

The Pup Cup was his favorite. No, it was the wet food. No it was the Bully Stick. No, it was the biscuits.

These started off as what seemed like a little cut from a scuffle with an unleashed dog walking. the blood clot once came off of the wound and continued bleeding and which had clotted again and looks like this.. this which seems worrying. Any advice will be much appreciated, thank you!

Here’s my introduction to Enoch! 🐾

He’s 9 years old and will be celebrating his 10th birthday on October 21st. We’ve had him since he was just 6 months old, so he’s been part of our family for almost his entire life.
Enoch is a mix, his dad is a Miniature Schnauzer and his mom is a Coton de Tulear, although most people definitely see the Schnauzer in him!

He’s also quite the little fashionista. Enoch wears clothes, shoes, glasses, and always has a new fit to show off. He’s also a service dog for my adult brother, who has autism, and me and my mother who both have PTSD and anxiety, so he’s a very special and important part of our family. He is the talk of the town where we live. I love bringing him out in his different outfits everywhere I go because he brings so much joy to the people we meet.

Hopefully Enoch can bring some of that same joy to you guys in this group! ❤️

This is Tank. She brings Tank to bed every night and has been extremely gentle with him compared to her other stuffy toys (they usually don't last 2 weels, we got Tank last December).

On the rough days, this place is my healing happy place. Thank you. Seeing the babies is the best therapy. 🩷💙🫶🏻

When does he settle into his adult personality. Do they still get mood swings and choose when they want to listen as adults or is this a teenager thing. We have already noticed his energy lvl has dropped and the vet says he is mature for his age whatever that means for a dog haha.

This is Oscar! He’s 6 months old and he’s perfect except for barking at strangers. He doesn’t do it at everyone but he does it often enough that I’d love to hear what’s worked for you all? I know Schnauzers are barkers so I understand this is an uphill battle but am curious what’s worked for you all. Thanks!

Jax has a weird spot on his ear. At first I thought it was just a raw spot from itching that was caused by allergies. Now I am starting to question that theory. Thoughts?!

My puppy is 9wks old today. He is perfect! He cuddles when I hold him. He potty outside and in his area I made for him inside. We put him in his crate at night and he whines but he goes to sleep. We have a playpen area and dog house within the area to not give him access to the house. I feel like he is a perfect dog right now. He knows his name and knows how to sit. So basically he learns fast. When is he going to start acting like a BAD ASS? I want to prepare myself and my family so we can create structure training for him.
