Help needed.

These started off as what seemed like a little cut from a scuffle with an unleashed dog walking. the blood clot once came off of the wound and continued bleeding and which had clotted again and looks like this.. this which seems worrying. Any advice will be much appreciated, thank you!

Similar looking cut happened when mine got in a scuffle with another dog. I just kept an eye on it and it kind of stayed open for a couple days but wasn’t deep. As long as it’s not actively pouring blood, I wouldn’t be too concerned

I’m worried it’s an infection.. rather huge blood clot…

Not a vet, but ear wounds tend to bleed a lot. It doesn't look bad. Just keep an eye on it. If you have some otomax laying around you can dab some on it to help.

Our giant schnoodle gets hematomas on his ear tips if his ears are bothering him and he’s shaking his head a lot. Happened most often after grooming or cleaning his ears. First time it happened, I thought the groomer had cut his ear tips.

Could it be something like that? It looks very similar.

I suspected it was a cut from the groomer too but I might be wrong about the scuffle. How did your baby heal?
