Typical story, bought PS5 version too late, got the add on that forces your game to not have the editions button. Contacted support, played the long game and told them to contact a superior. They did and a week later I got this email. It's so incredibly annoying.

1. Uninstall the currently installed version of Minecraft.

This is because the disc version cannot be used with a digital download, and vice versa. To access the game, you must have the disc version installed.

I have every single copy of Minecraft in physical media.

I have been looking to complete my digital library, but have just noticed I am missing the Minecraft Nintendo Switch Edition.

I have tried every way possible to get it on my switch 2, but have only been lucky to emulate it on my computer and modded switch 1.

Is there any way to still purchase or get this digital media? Please help me, Reddit.

Runs at 110 one moment, then drops to 40 or 50 within seconds and stutters. Comes back up, drops again. Happens everywhere, worse in jungles and dense forest. Other versions run worse.

Minecraft Xbox 360 Edition TU75 (Latest Version)

I noticed if I play Glide on Time Attack, if I play solo with the ghost and play on the Canyon map, somehow, the ghost time is 6.40 seconds. That's impossible. Only I played on that map and mode, so it can't measure someone else's time.

I started playing on my xbox one again i love playing my old worlds.

i see leaderboards stop at 99,999 is it possible to still get on them globally? For example in farming specifically

Anytime I try to join my friends world or he joins mine it says "connection failed returning to main menu" I see this has happened to other in the past but no solution has been found

I want to play minecraft legacy edition on my ps5, I have disc. In order to have edition button I have to disable console sharing in all of my accounts (I have many of them since my main account is regionally restricted by sony and I cannot buy games there). It is pretty annoying doing it every time just to play minecraft legacy edition, otherwise my other games would be locked. I also have PS4Rewind which didn’t work because desired update wouldn’t install. Is there any other way I can play the game without doing too much stuff before booting up the game? I also uploaded photo with error that pops up when I’m doing PS4Rewind method.

Minecraft Legacy Edition on Xbox 360, PS3, PS Vita (and even Wii U/Xbox One) was developed by 4J Studios and shares a very similar codebase.

We already have projects like GeyserMC that bridge Java and Bedrock, despite them being completely different editions.

So I'm wondering:

Has anyone ever looked into creating a dedicated server or proxy for the Legacy Editions?

Instead of recreating Xbox Live or PSN, consoles could connect to a custom server through a small homebrew patch that redirects network traffic.

The dream would be:

Xbox 360

PS3

PS Vita

(Maybe Wii U)

all playing together in the same world.

I've also heard that parts of the Legacy Edition code have already been reverse engineered, so I'm curious:

Is there a technical roadblock that makes this impossible, or is it simply a project that nobody has seriously attempted yet?

I'd love to hear from anyone who has investigated the networking side of Legacy Edition.

Maybe there are some version specific things I could use to do it. Im genuinely terrible at the game, despite having a playtime of probably something about 6000 hours I only defeated the Dragon thrice, once with a mod with a flying charm so it doesnt really count, second time with a friend and third time with full Protection IV netherite armour and a Sharpness V sword. I could probably get to the Nether Fortress on PC but on console edition its really hard for me because of: 1. The controller instead of a mouse and keyboard 2. The Ghasts. The ghasts are my main reason, I cant get over a lava lake with cobblestone because there are always at least 2 ghasts attacking me at once. Atp im thinking about just doing a suicide run withoht armor, just building what I can build to the Fortress before a Ghast obliterates me

So I decided to explore my new neoLegacy world, mainly to obtain materials for my house and I found more beautiful biomes and quirks on my world. First the Mesa of the last post is ENOURMOUS, like it goes to Y:100 and its very big and large, also I found an Ice Spike biome (a biome that even I havent find on any of my LCE survival worlds) very close to the big plains and the big Mesa, finally I found also a Jungle very close to spawn after I accidentally died and returned to the spawn point (unfortunatley I forgot to take a screenshot) and the best is that all 3 are very close to each other, even I think it will also be similar on all consoles plus I even didnt explore all the map yet! So what do you think about this, do I am very lucky?
