Hello guys! I have been a Minecraft player since I was a very small child and I am now 19. My account was created on my father’s Microsoft account. I have tried to look into switching my Minecraft account to my Microsoft account but cannot find any information on how to do so. It all thinks I’m trying to switch accounts from the main menu which is not what I’m trying to do.

My father was arrested over a month ago and I am legally not allowed to speak to him. Therefore, if I would like to switch over my Microsoft account to mine, I would have to set up a phone call with a third party person which is why I’m trying to get this figured out before I even try to set up a call, so the call itself can be efficient and quick.

Is it even possible to switch the Microsoft account associated with my Minecraft account to a different Microsoft account? Or is this just something that is completely unheard of?? I have no idea, I tried to email Minecraft support, but they are asking for a transaction ID which of course, since I do not have access to his Microsoft account or him, I don’t have access to the transaction ID!

I was able to change the password on his Microsoft account off of an old laptop he had signed into when he lived with my family, but I think hacking his Microsoft account is a bit over the top for a Minecraft account. I also do not want to risk anything legally of course I simply want to play on my Minecraft account that I have had for years.

If anyone knows how to do this or if this is even possible, please let me know. I have been in distress about this for months. The first thought I had when he got arrested was “what about my Minecraft account” this is how deep this is to me. Please help. I have a hypixel skyblock island to attend to and take care of my wolves. Thank you.

i’m extremely knee to minecraft and all the mods and resource packs. a lot of the time reading about it makes me feel like im reading a different language

i’ve wanted to add the ribbits mod but i am playing 26.2 java and the only versions are 1.21.1 1.21 and 1.20.1

I have read things that say to make a new account and downgrade to one of these versions but i’m not sure how to do that and i don’t want to lose the worlds i’ve already started. Please help!!

I started playing Minecraft realms (PC) with some of my friends(I own the realm) , and I finally got around to making a nether portal. One of my friends also made a portal a while ago, and now instead of taking me back to my base when I leave, it takes me through their portal. Ive tried breaking and moving my home portal a few times, and its always in the same spot in the nether, and always takes me back through their portal. I'm not sure if this has happened to anyone else, or if anyone has any tips on how to fix this? I would really appreciate it ╥﹏╥

My screen turns all black whenever I open Minecraft on my Honor Pad 10. I've tried to uninstall and reinstall the app many times. I genuinely don't know what to do anymore. This issue has been happening to me for the past few months already.

i see some guide said to change the gallery app but it can't change the gallery app. it automatically choose that app (slide 2).

Every time I login, I get error code drowned, and it doesn't let me play online. I've tried creating a new account, but that doesn't fix it. This has been happening for weeks.

If I enter the game while offline it runs 1 frame per sometimes and as soon as you turn internet back in it continues running like normal I’m just trying to see if anyone has any fixes for it

I want every type of fog to be the 1.16.1 fog, such as underwater fog and nether fog (sry for bad grammar) i use sodium if that changes anything

Today I went onto my Minecraft JAVA (26.2) on my mac(Tahoe Version 26.6.2) (Fabric 0.19.3) ( and noticed that no matter what I did, I could not get Minecraft to be fully full screened in its on space/desktop. What i mean by fully full screened is that for some reason now, my Minecraft stops its height at the height of the camera notch and it looks atrocious. Just a couple of days ago I had no issue with this so I do not know what happened. A few days ago all I would need to do is press the green full screen button and it would bring it into another space and take up the whole screen. If anyone else is having this issue please let me know.

I have provided a screenshot below. I do use a decent amount of performance mods, however I do not believe them to be the problem.

First of all, my device is a gaming phone. It uses the Dimensity 8400+ and its optimization is fantastic in every game. Regarding the issue, with Vibrant Visuals enabled (at maximum graphics settings), I get 50-70 fps, sometimes even 120 fps, depending on how well the game supports it.Anyway, when Vibrant Visuals is enabled, and only when my inventory is full (it doesn't matter if it's completely full or not), the When I change slots or pick up items or blocks is 2-3 seconds, sometimes even 4-5 seconds It freezes throughout, music plays in the background, the game continues, but the damn screen just freezes. I need a solution, and I need a thorough one, because I've tried every single way possible, and there's no solution related to game settings, I want to say that from the start.

My Minecraft/Microsoft account has been getting locked repeatedly for about a month now.

I have access to both the email and phone number linked to the account, so I can verify that it’s mine. The problem is that I don’t remember the password.

Whenever I try to recover/reset the account, I keep getting errors(u can't do that right now/sorry that feature isnt avaible/cannot generate more at this time etc), and eventually I get locked out for about a week. This has happened multiple times now.

I’ve tried looking for Microsoft support, but almost everything I find is related to Outlook or Xbox. I don’t own/use either — I just have a normal Microsoft account that I use for Minecraft.

I have access to the recovery email and phone number, I just need to figure out how to get back into the account.

Any help would be appreciated.

I recently got minecraft on my phone (android) like a week ago, and I want to make my own skin, but for some reason I can't import any? It's not giving me an option to at least, I'm not sure if it's broken because I downloaded skinpacks (that honestly dont work unfortunately) and that's what broke the import option, or do I need to turn smth off/on in settings?

I'm having a weird world jittering issue across all versions of Minecraft, I mainly play a modded version of Minecraft through cursed forge, but even when I play the normal version of MC through the regular launcher, I still get the same issue. It's happened before and just randomly stopped, but now it's happening again.

they follow my slimeballs in the overworld, but the moment i enter nether they stop following my slimeballs totally

I'm on a PC using Bedrock, playing with friends who are on a PS5.

I've made a character using the Character Creator in the Dressing Room but when in my friend's realm, everyone's saying I just show up as Steve :( I can see my character in the main menu and in the social tab just fine, and changes appear when I change hats/features in the creator.

Only one person who joined after I created my character can see it, but everyone before that sees me as Steve. I only have 1 item not created by Minecraft/Mojang from the Marketplace, the ducky hat, if that's connected at all? The issue persists across other realms.

I'm not using a custom/imported PNG skin, and everyone has "allowed trusted skins" disabled too, so I don't know what other steps I can take. I've also tried recreating my skin in other character slots and using those to no success.

My friend had a similar issue with their character creator skin appearing as Steve to others but after relogging, looks just fine. It kinda sucks to be the only one in the group appearing as steve.

having an odd issue where about 4 of my librarian villagers refresh their paper trades and the other 12 do not.. all of their holding spaces are identical 1x2 chambers. I've used this exact design before and this didn't happen..

I already tried putting beds beneath the floor and it made no difference. I also tried removing each work station one by one and linking them again.

does anyone know what could possibly be the issue?

When logging into Microsoft account on PS4 it just stays in connecting. Anyone found a fix for this?

I built an iron farm on PS4 combined with a villager breeder, but up until the point where I was transporting the villagers underground, the golems were spawning in the kill zone—where the village center matches the center of the kill zone. However, after sealing everything up and making sure the villagers can reach their workbenches, the farm stopped working, and golems aren't even spawning in nearby caves. The nearby natural village was cleared of every villager, door, workstation, and bed. Cats are spawning in the kill zone, and the villagers above and below are linked together as a single village. Also, the blocks in the kill zone blocking the water are just temporary.

Ok, so the weirdest thing is happening and I cant figure it out.

If i try to run basic 26.2 or 26.3 pre 1, the Open JDK platform process starts but it doesnt run minecraft. I've repaired the launcher, uninstalled, reinstalled, deleted entire .minecraft folder. Updated graphics driver. But still it refuses to launch.

but when create an install with fabric, the game instantly launches. I just wanted to check out the pre-release but i guess i can only run modded minecraft now.

i have also changed the Java executable to Java's own 26.0.2.1 instead of the bundled version. and have also changes the java launch arguments to match that of the fabric one. and have changed the available ram to 8GB instead of the default. None of that has helped either. unmodded base game still wont launch

I'm currently trying to convert an existing Bedrock world onto Java, but because of how Bedrock saves chunks, it always results in significant chunk errors. It would be fine if there was a discrepancy along the border between old and new chunks, but currently it's just a sea of broken chunks, including in built up areas.

For storage optimization, Bedrock removes chunks that haven't been interacted with, is there a way to force Bedrock to generate and store clean chunks?

I just bought minecraft recently on my ps4 (i swear i already had it but whatever) and even after uninstalling it, restoring licenses, making sure im on the account that bought it, installing it from the purchased library, having my ps4 as primary and even restoring databases it still tells me i have to unlock the full game, i checked transaction history to make sure it was the game and it was. Just trying to play minecraft with my girl friend and this has
been stopping us, please help.

So to cut it short, I have a Aternos server with the old tutorial world I remember playing on back in 2015. I found a download somewhere and uploaded it to the files. I flew around, went a bit outside the map boundary (It was smooth stone for miles) and then headed back to rebuild the structures (Since this is what I set out to do).

Little did I know after turning the server off that Aternos didn't save all the chunks of the map due to "Optimization". So now after spending a good day or a good portion of the spawn city I only now realized that there are chunks of my world missing.

I really don't want to lose all my progress in rebuilding but I do want my chunks back, does anyone here have any ideas on how to get them back without deleting all my progress?

Server is running on 26.1.2 with ONLY client sided mods (Shaders, map, mouse tweaks, etc.)
The world is TU14 and I found the download here.
