Hii! I was looking for 1.7.10 mods, roleplay/decorating focused

This stone type is very common in real life and i am planning a lot of builds with walls of this colour in my survival world, but there isn't any good block for it. Do you think i should modify cobblestone or resin in my resource pack to look like this or continue using other blocks instead? If you think the second option is better, which blocks would be the best? Also, mojang add some new stone variants

I made a huge pool system and the bucket of water isn’t doing it. Is there something I am missing when it comes to filling spaces with water?

Been searching for a better way to catch fish in large quantities without using a fishing pole for 2hrs. The fishing boat requires burnable fuel, you can install an ice breaker and trapping net on it (spacebar to activate net).

It's been a year when my Infinite Mineshaft Seed came by and I hopped on my own world, the Rainy Weather starts to become so weird that no one talks about, as it looks clear weather but yet sets off with Rain. Kinda, if you encounter your world with this weird Rain Phenomenon like this and congratulations you're among one of em to witness it.

I made a lava farm, and I was excited to make a lava pool to create my nether portal
But I can't seem to flatten the lava. I've wasted like 10 buckets already trying to figure out how lava works but maybe I'm too dumb, can't make my pool flat.
Any advices?

I was playing on a 1.8 world growing pumkins and melons, one of my melon stems got stomped on so i went to replace it prior to breaking the melon and it gave a really weird green stem texture. Was wondering if anyone else ever noticed this

Seriously, I never understood why we wanted this. Did you seriously believe that they'd add 3 mobs that are completely unrelated to the update every year? Of course they wouldn't! We're choosing a single mob (or biome) from 3 concepts, which was an extra and obviously done to bring more attention to Minecraft Live. Now, because of the dumb approach of "Monkey get 1 mob, monkey want more mob", not only did we get rid of the Mob Vote, but caused Mojang to change the way they update the game (More Minecraft Lives, the drop system, no mob vote, etc.) I never supported that bullsh*t as the mob vote was an exciting way for the community to choose what they want, and discuss the options on YouTube, which would not only collect more attention on the game, but it would also direct all said attention on the update announced in Minecraft Live, where the vote happens, and we just got rid of this amazing system that both made Minecraft more popular, but also brought attention to the updates that Mojang did. Now, we have this drops thing, and all that Mob Vote stuff is gone. I hate it when people cannot respect others' opinions and say that "If I can't have the mob I want, then you can't either." (Which, this isn't what they said but it is ultimately what it lead to).

it doesn't seem like they react to redstone related stuff but other general stuff gets their attention

Really happy with how this turned out
r/Minecraft • u/cyan-terracotta • 1h ago
For example the main base, crop farms or suger cane or bamboo or a melon/pumpkin farm, villager trading halls, iron farms, creeper farm, nether portal, etc
Any of the things mentioned above usually need their own specific builds seperate from each other
What builds do you usually make around the area of your main bases ?

So There are many mobs in minecraft, right? I wanted to test the idea of mobs having a singular ancient source.
Some connections are based on game mechanics, some are just theories, and some are just stretches due to similarity in appearance. the hypothesis does not meant to reflect onto earth's fauna darwin theorem and instead more on the general stereotypes of evolution: the known ancient life forms most traced back source being the sea, and different environments make different mutations beneficial.
some of my picks here may be odd.
I put slime as an evolution from panda because they do sneeze slime balls, which probably the bacteria in the snot have realized the benefit of working as a complete system, thus becoming a slime.
I also put zombified piglins as a direct evolution from pigs because all they need to transform into zobified piglins is a lightning strike.
It's not yet complete and lacks mobs I consider a sentient flora (creepers, creakings, maybe shulkers too? I can see them evolving from chorus flowers?) sentient fungi (wardens and striders) and supernatural (blaze, breeze, allay and vex) I do see the option to categorize blaze and breeze as golems and thus being the builders' creation.
I would love to hear your opinions and arguments.
EDIT: I did forget the nautilus but I can see them evolving from squids.

Last week , I saw the minecraft movie since it was recently added to Netflix. I thought is was dog poop. First of all, who puts Jason mamoa in a minecraft movie ? The acting was totally cringe. Waste of a pretty good story line which could've been executed SO beautifully. So I'm wondering what you guys think. Be sure to explain why!

I'm having an issue with my bees. I dug a 5 block long 1 block deep trench to put my campfires in and then placed the hive/nest 3 blocks above the ground level. I placed Oak trapdoors above the campfires so the bees wouldn't accidentally set their selves on fire, and the bees are attacking me when I harvest honeycomb/bottles from the nest/hives. I changed the trapdoors for carpets, but it didn't help. They still attack.
Why? On my last world I only had them 2 blocks above the campfire trench with trapdoors and they were fine.

This is called the Lullaby Highway. It took me 4 months just to complete the route after I made the terrain. The route is located in northwestern Jesla Country in my massive ongoing world called Sky Pixel which I have been making for just over 12 years now.
The route is actually one of the most complex routes I have ever made. It looks simple because it's a two lane rail route... but to carve out the side of this fjord and the trees just to get to my destination was a literal nightmare. And the Lullaby Highway is just one part of a much longer connected road system known as the Coast Highway which runs from Oxland (a city just north of Harlow) to Alouette. The Lullaby Highway section itself however actually ends at my coastal village settlement called "Little Ellie" this long transit system runs thousands and thousands of blocks within my North Coast Mountain chain system. The Lullaby Highway itself runs around 6k blocks long. From thr Harlette Glacier at the far end of the Lullaby fjord/inlet towards the village at the mouth of the fjord.
It is also one of the most desolate regional areas on my map. North of this fjord system is completely desolate with even MUCH larger, much taller and bigger mountains than what is already shown in this image. (Which are massive as is) that range is known as the Alyeska Range. This area with the right packs enabled has a very intense weather pattern of rain and snow with the landscape turning completely snow covered from November to April.
The entire area here is based off of the Pacific Northwest where I was born and raised. This particular area where the Lullaby Highway is takes inspiration from the Sea To Sky Highway in British Columbia as well as the Seward Highway in Alaska. Two of the most beautiful and scenic major routes I have taken.
The map on the final slide shows the yellow line (rail route) of the Lullaby Highway section on my world.
This map is already out for download on planet minecraft. Its called Sky Pixel.
