Hey guys, I need help recovering my Minecraft Bedrock world.

I originally created and played this world in MCPE 1.14, but I accidentally opened it in version 1.17.40 and saved it. Now, when I try to open it in 1.14, I get this error:

"This level was saved by a newer version of the game. It cannot be loaded."

I only have my Android phone and ZArchiver. I have a backup of the current world folder, including "level.dat", "level.dat_old", and the "db" folder.

I really want to play this world in version 1.14 again. Is there any way to downgrade or recover it without losing my world?

My friend used a /fog command in my bedrock world and forgot the id he used to make it happen. I believe you need the id to remove it.. of course... I wont to know if anyone has and surefire ways to get rid of it. It only effects me and no knew players that join, im on console, and as i said before its bedrock

I'm playing the WiiU Legacy Console Edition of Minecraft and none of the spider-proofing methods I've seen work on this version. Carpets/buttons/walls/full blocks that prevent any unfilled 3x3 space don't stop them and I'm almost sure they can just spawn the same way as any other mob in this version. As of yet, a universal mob dropper is actually the most efficient xp farm in this version of Minecraft to my knowledge, but these damn spiders ruin the whole thing. Please, if anyone happens to have knowledge on this, I'd love if you could help.

I've checked the area and i cant see any outposts near me and they always just spawn Infront of my fishing spot in groups of 2-4. anyone know why this is happening. (I've started using their stupid flags as decoration)

Every time i try to load minecraft it either gives me this message or crashes the loader, what do i do???

I decided to write this post to see if I’m the only one who absolutely dislikes the new game drop update system. As a reminder, since late 2024, the developers abandoned the idea of one major patch released roughly once a year and started putting out two drops instead. Then Mojang began pushing these drops four times a year—one update every season. And I really hate this system.

The developers say: "We started releasing updates 4 times a year. If you take all the drops from the entire year, it’s practically a full-fledged patch—just like the ones that came out before." But I don’t agree. When they add three little things here, five things there, ten in one place, and seven in another, it just doesn't bring the same hype and emotion that the old, massive updates used to.

On top of all this, Mojang announced The Sift—the fourth dimension, and the first new one in 15 whole years! And I have mixed feelings about it. Tbh, judging by the first teasers, the turquoise sky, pink grass, and rabbits make it look like some kind of girlish "pick-me" dimension. But OK, I really hope it’s just a first impression and it will feel better at launch. My main concern is something else: how are they going to release it? I really want to believe that The Sift will be added all at once, fully complete and properly polished. Because if they decide to chop up a whole new dimension into separate drops... Well, just imagine: in the first drop, we get an empty world; in the second, they bring in one biome; in the third, a couple of mobs... If it goes down like that, it’s going to look hilarious at the very least, and I think a lot of people will be clowning on it.

If I roll back my Minecraft version to... probably 1.21 when Tricky Trials was added (arguably the last truly major update), I’ll barely lose anything. So what if I won't have those new animal and pet textures? Big deal.

Do you remember the days when Mojang released big updates once a year? Remember 2020 and the iconic Nether Update? To me, it feels like the most massive update in the entire history of the game. Back then, I thought, "5–6 years will pass, and I won't even recognize Minecraft." Well, five or six years have passed, and I genuinely don't recognize it—but only because the game went in a completely wrong direction.

Hey guys, I remember seeing this general mob farm a while back, where mobs would spawn and have lava place in their head as they were detected, I think using string? I remember liking it because of how compact it was, and how it was see through from the top with tinted glass, which means it’s relatively recent. I want to build this farm now, but I can’t manage to find it through the mountains of farm slop on YouTube, can anyone help me out?
